Yes that's what i feel! Idk with ring inserts, even if you save them then they're all in not chronological order if you keep other inserts besides weeklys etc
I've recently started using a Stalogy and I love it!! I've always used ring planners but wanted to try Stalogy and lockdown gave me the time to really get to grips with it. I still use a pocket ring binder as a wallet and on the go lists/to do's. I also keep a monthly spread in there "just in case" I need it.
I’m not artistic enough for a bullet journal, lol. Your pages are beautiful! I agree that personal size pages are too narrow. I’ve considered personal wide but there don’t seem to be a lot of insert options out there in that size. I am in a disk bound half letter size planner. I love that it can open flat and also that I can keep it skinny by using smaller disks. The personal was too chunky for me.
Yes! Half letter discs is great! I used that quite a bit in 2018/19! There are a lot of personal wide printables these days and cloth & paper carries the size! Let me know if you need insert recommendations :) I always think I’m not artistic enough for a bullet journal either lol and I keep it simple!
If you look at Ryder Caroll's bullet journal stuff, you will see that it didn't start out artistic and he (bullet journal creator) doesn't do anything fancy. He wanted something that was pretty much open and go.
B6 is the best of both worlds. I've tried bs slim and thought about the B6 stalogy for nxt time since I write alot and usually go tho a note book in 3 to 4 months. Your video helped. Thanks for sharing.
I feel like I always come back to A5 rings or bullet journal. I was using the A5 Stalogy but it was too overwhelming for me and I sized down to a6 for convenience. I like it but I think I want to try B6 next or give the A5 another go.
I’m waiting for my fist stalogy. I have been a Hobonichi lover for 6 years but I want to try something less expensive. Also, I heard that I could watercolor on the stalogy I’m crossing my fingers because that’s why I love Hobonichi since it is the same paper. Thank you
I hope it works out! The paper is different but I imagine you could. If it doesn’t work out you could always get a plain notebook made of tomoe river paper which is what Hobonichi uses
2 years ago was when I purchased my Large Happy planner. In the year 2020 I got more into planning and got my 1st A5 6 rings which is great! Although, its all changed because now I am more into cross body bags and backpacks and I can't take my A5 with me everywhere because its the same size as my cross body bag so now... I AM LOST LOL.. I am on the search for another planner and as far as my preference I'm looking for a ringed planner that's not as small as a pocket or an A6 because of my carpel tunnel it becomes very tiring and exhausting to write on small paper especially sense I like to write till I get to the bottom of a page. So now I am looking into getting either a B6 or a personal if they fit in a medium size purse. I love you video by the way and yes you are right the paper is amazing!! also I'm sorry for my paragraph!

Love my B6 stay for all the same reasons. I’ve been in rings, discs, and printed bound planners and I thought I’d hate the lack of structure, but the freedom to change my weeks up in a stalogy was a total game changer. Great video! New subscriber (torubywithlove on IG) 😁

B6 is totally my fav that more square space brings me joy. Bound books just seem easier nothing falls out and easy to store when its complete.

What do you mean about vinyl? Are you talking about the cover? Or about how I got the vellum in there? If so I literally just tape it with washi haha
