  • Appendicitis Signs & Symptoms | & Why They Occur
    Appendicitis is a condition involving inflammation of the appendix. Appendicitis occurs due to blockage of the appendiceal lumen, which leads to bacterial overgrowth or proliferation within the appendix, ultimately leading to an inflamed and enlarged appendix. As the appendix becomes more and more enlarged and inflamed, it begins to cause a variety of symptoms, which we will discuss in this lesson.

    I had my appendix removed yesterday afternoon. I woke up with what felt like really bad gas pain through out my stomach yesterday morning. It would subside and then come on worse than before. I decided to go to the hospital after about 3 hours of this and when the nausea started. I got to the ER and my stomach started feeling a lot better. My pain was everywhere in my stomach on day one, so I just thought I had food poisoning. Day 2 was bad I could barely get out of bed and started running a fever and the pain moved from my entire stomach to just above my bladder and right lower stomach. This was 3 weeks ago and it was removed on day 2. Literally my first time ever having surgery and I’m 29. It was not bad at all and I have really bad anxiety, day 2 & 3 you will definitely be sore but by day 4 I was starting to get out and about. I woke up with an intense migraine, slept a lot, felt unwell and lost my appetite with some nausea. It kind felt like menstruation pain or IBS pain, it was fairly general and came and went. Went to ER around 9pm… as I couldn’t tell where the pain was had to wait to morning to have an ultrasound. Turns out appendicitis. I honestly thought I was being a hypochondriac… I’ve had period pain worse. 2 things that really stood out was being unable to stand up straight, agony with the movement of the car and when middle of abdominal was pressed upon released terrible pain experienced in the right. Honestly wasn’t scary… don’t remember much of it… I was in so much general pain and tired.

    JUST HAD SURGERY | Chris here from MudMonkey ATVS. Saturday morning I woke up bloated with what I thought to be trapped gas. I was in alot of pain and quickly turned to UA-cam for remedies with hopes of relief to which I had no luck. Sunday morning I woke up still in pain and feeling the same. It hurt all over but hurt most when I applied pressure to my lower right stomach. I decided to go to the emergency room just to be safe. After and exam and a CT scan I did in fact have appendicitis. I had emergency surgery and spent the night in recovering. I’ve been home for a few hours, in a lot of pain which I guess is to be expected. If you have these symptoms just do yourself a favour and go to the hospital. Wishing everyone who reads this good health and don’t worry! You are going to be fine! Just go get checked out

    Getting the appendix out is not such a big deal. You are asleep and it is over before you know it. But, Don't make the mistake that I did. I felt good enough in the morning to eat the meals the hospital brought me. Then at home I had a light dinner. But then it occurred to me, food is going in, nothing is coming out. It is almost for sure that after an operation on your bowels that you will be constipated. Soon I had the worst acid reflux I had ever experienced. This pain was much worse then the inflamed appendix. It lasted for 2 days and night until finally my body began to react to all the stool softeners I through at it. A very long 2 days. Don't eat!!! You will be sorry.

    • @sweddishboi2739
      @sweddishboi2739 Рік тому

      @@motivationreality I'm not medical expert, but usually once appendicitis is diagnosed they get on it pretty quick with surgery. I had mine removed within 12 hours of diagnosis (they immediately took me to urgent care after diagnosis). Once again, i have no medical training so take this with a grain of salt, but it's probably not appendicitis and is something else. They try to treat it quick so that it doesn't rupture and cause infection. Probably try calling your doctor for clarification though because you don't want it to rupture and become infected, and you also don't want an overreaction and go to the emergency room for no reason, with a large medical bill to pay.

    • @sweddishboi2739
      @sweddishboi2739 Рік тому

      If he prescribed antibiotics or some other medication that's also a likely reason he may not have wanted surgery, as that is a common treatment that can usually cause inflammation and pain to go away, as antibiotics can usually solve appendicitis for a few years.

    To anyone reading this please do not self diagnose. Appendicitis presents in different ways for different people. Just get checked by a Doctor to be sure, if you find it early then the Likelihood is you will be fine. Appendicitis is really common so caught early enough it’s rare you’ll encounter any complications, just to let you know there is little you can do to reduce the chances of getting appendicitis. Just stay calm and talk to a Doctor and DO NOT self diagnose. On a lighter note appendicitis can often be confused with gastroenteritis (a less serious illness)

A bit after I when to the ER, the doctor felt my stomach and he found a spot where it hurt the most, that was the right lower side of my stomach. They ran a couple cat scans and tests to make sure that my appendix was inflamed. Soon after I was transported to a larger hospital through ambulance and got my surgery. In my opinion, the pain before surgery is worse than the pain after. Im so glad i had the surgery, trust me it really isnt that bad. I did develop social anxiety and general anxiety (and emetaphobia) afterwards though. The social anxiwty maks sense because i was always very shy and same with the emetaphobia since vomiting and nausea where my main symptoms. I also am now experiencing symptoms closest too ibs but even so you should definitely go through with surgery. CAC Nerver Up Capsules are an ayurvedic preparation containing ingredients such as abhrak bhasam, praval pishti, ras sindoor, shankh bhasma, shudha shilajeet, shudha kuchla etc. All these ingredients in combination deal with the vata dosha that is accumulated in appendix patient. The use of these tablets reduces inflammation & pain naturally.

    I'm 18 years old, got an acute appendicitis.
    Today I got my appendix removed It felt really better than before.
    It took less than 1 hour for me, you don't feel anything because you get anesthesia.
    After the operation, the doctor told me that I can go home after 2-3 days of treatment.
    My advise for those who is having stomach pain or Appendicitis to get treated as soon as possible, before It gets worse.
