I got my first daughter when I was 36, things didn’t work out and we separated when she was 1yo. After that, I started dating a single mum cause she would understand me better regarding my daughter. We ended up marrying, having 2 daughters together and I’m adopting her daughter. So I’m a father of 4 daughters now.. aged 7,5,2,1. The 5yo is the one I’m adopting and I’ve been with her since she was 9 month, so she has always called me dad
Been with my wife now for 23 years (16 of those married) but I can remember my list of dating musts: 1) They can't freak out if you don't call them or talk to them for a whole day or two (this was before texting was invented) and 2) They have to have a good relationship with their family. I don't want to be dropped in the middle of a drama bomb when we go back to meet the folks.
I only want to know what their parents are like, as that is a huge influence. Otherwise, I couldn't care less if relations are good, bad or indifferent. I make it very clear that I date them, and not their family situation. I don't need her parents' approval. It's great when your partner's family are cool. But I've also dated really cool girls who family were comically dysfunctional, and the latter didn't impact my relationship as she'd done work on herself to train herself out of bad, learned habits. When I meet the parents, I make allowances for nerves: some parents can just be a little nervous on a first meetings. But you'll know soon enough if they're people you want to be around in your life. And if you don't tune out from it. If that becomes a sticking point in your relationship, protect your mental heath, and move on.
An adult takes the time to find out the full context and depth of reason as to why a parental relationship isn't good. A child sees conflict and goes "ew drama!" and runs off.
What I really don´t understand is women that goes online with a photo of their child in the profile..... why...... It kills all the mood of what Tinder or other platform is meant for. And by the way, I love your relationship, so fresh and communicative, Love you guys !!!!

You invest tons of time and money into the instant family only to have nothing when the woman decides to move on. She’s gained, you loss. Plus, it takes weeks to equal one or two dates. Gotta find a babysitter, can’t go out the kids are sick, can’t go out dad didn’t get kids. Kids need to be included in all we do ($$$$). They expect you pay for it all. Then 5 months in, me and their father are going to try and work it out. Gotta love, you’re not their father, but can you do all the father duties and pay. lol. Nope.
I clip my nails when they get a little bit of length and any dirt you can see so you remove it. I mean, it's not like you have painted long nails on where you can't see the dirt building up underneath like... >.>
