Deuce Vaughn was K States former premiere running back that Coach Prime, I believe, put Dylan in touch with Dylan to give him encouragement at his size and speed. Dylan is looking for that roll. If he continues to carry and score on each touch, his coach will have to put him in more.

They're using him as a situational back, that's not uncommon. 3rd down back, one that can make catches out of the backfield. Tons of schools do that with smaller backs that may not be able to stand up to 20-25 carries a game at the power 4 level.

its only a game or to into the season. and K State coach is paying attention. I am pretty sure he loves to see his players take advantage of every opportunity they can and over the years I have sen that this coach will move a guy up in rank and let them develop in the program over the seasons. I bet he wishes he could get every one of his players NFL worthy and into the business. That Tulane team was really fucking good. I disagree that KSU takes a 4* running just to show up CU. Edwards was a 4* scatback. That's why KSU took him. How many blue chips does KSU get? Not many. So why isn't he playing more, you ask. Maybe he needs an attitude adjustment. Maybe he isn't learning the playbook as well as the other RBs. Who knows. But I do know this...he'll get more carries as a 3rd string rb at KSU than as a starter at CU. I know it, you know it, but most of all, Dylan Edwards knows it. Sheduer wants to pass the ball to pad his numbers. Sanders wouldn't handoff if Bo Jackson was the rb.
