I still remember watching beignets in "Princess and the Frog". I honestly wanted to try it after seeing it over a hundreds time. I don't know any good recipes that I can do outside of New Orleans. It looks so amazing and wonderful.

If you like making dessert for family you should try- TANGHULU is a popular street food snack in China. It consists of sweet-tart fresh fruits candy coated with a hardened sugar syrup. It so good 😋… but not a everyday treat

My Maw Maw used to make beignets, she just called them fried dough, lol. I always ate mine in butter instead of the powdered sugar though.

Louisiana seems like such a wonderful place and filled with fantastic food and with amazing people. I'm from Texas (born and raised) and have been through Louisiana about 15 to 20 times traveling to different sporting events or for work, and I've got to try very limited amounts of the great food you guys have there. Everything I tried was amazing and I look forward to every opportunity when I get to try more. Nothing but love and respect to our brothers and sisters down around the Southeast border from us. Ladies and Gents..... I tip my hat because you all definitel can cook! ❤
