Yeah and his reasoning was wack too. Nobody that takes AB will take BC cos that makes the BC test almost meaningless due to the fact that you only get an extra semester of credit for a whole years worth of work + the same AP test cost, when you could just take BC and get credit for both.

Only AP I took was Calc and the actual content wasn't super hard, it's just learning the next level of math like usual. The actual difficulty of AP Calc is the test in which the difficulty comes from knowing when and where to apply what calculus depending on what it asks you. A really easy example is finding the velocity at time t, that's just finding the derivative at x=t but further into calc ab it gets much harder.
I took AP World History freshman year (a good fraction of the class were freshmen too), and my teacher sucked lol. My teacher did NOT explain the different types of questions that was on the exam and I was completely lost on it. Ended up scoring a 2. I think I could've done a LOT better if my teacher explained the test and prepared us from the SAQs and LEQs. Also, my APUSH teacher sucks ass. The class is definitely hard; you're either pulling your 3rd all-nighter this week doing all the work she assigned for tomorrow (like I am) or you're failing. AP music theory is definitely a C or B even if you have musical experience because you have to do melodic and harmonic dictation, which isn't really stuff that you do in music classes in middle or high school. On top of that, you have to sing, which would be easy for vocalists or singers, but awful for musicians who chose to play aninstrument because they would have likely intentionally chosen not to sing. On top of that, the course is EVERYTHING music theory related starting from "this is the treble clef" to harmonic dictation. So, the bulk of the more challenging work is taught toward the latter half of the course, which means less time to study for it, unlike AP Lang where the essays can be taught in any order.
