_”The school cut you from the team?”_
I *don’t* care what anyone else says, I for one _LOVE_ that moment (👏)!
Kelly was also the first human character in the franchise to kill a dinosaur... 😉
They nailed all these horror action adventure elements perfectly in 1997. None of that crazy CG crap. Hopefully the upcoming one goes back to its adventure horror roots
Umm, there is CGI in this film
I don't know. I mean, The Lost World was in my opinion one of the first movies to do too much crazy stuff with CGI just because they could (like the scene with the biker passing between dino legs), and without as much care as in the original Jurassic Park movie, probably because they were too much CG scenes to work on.
Sure, compared to modern CG fest movies, it feels tone-down, but it really lacks subtlety. In this scene, there are way too much lucky moves and slow reactions from the raptors. And the thing that bothered me the most back then was the apparent lack of weight from the CG raptors, when Rex and the raptors did feel heavy in the first movie.
What makes older films more realistic are the sets. Movies today rely too much on CG therefore loosing the touch of realism they once had.
It's not horror, they are animals just chasing their pray. * facepalm *
@@Starlynightlightokay and animals chasing their prey aren’t scary when humans are the prey? you wouldn’t be scared if getting hunted by velociraptors *face palm*
Most people don’t know that the tiger coloured raptors are males to the brown females we see in the first movie (we also see the female raptors in the lost world) for example the raptor that chased Sarah on the roof was brown but it’s hard to see due to the dark lighting
We also know the brown females were in this movie thanks to a behind the scenes making of the dinosaurs for the lost world
I don't know about this movie but behind the scenes seem to imply only one female raptor
Edit: I'm sorry, I didn't see that you meant "females" in the first movie.
Underrated Movie
overrated movie
One of my favorite scenes from this film.
What a shame they didn't use Carnotaurus in this film, it would have been a much more interesting scene if it had been with Carnotaurus chameleons like the ones in the novel.
That one became a Legend in this part of the film, an Acrobatics Professional 😄😁👍🏻
I wish we get to see sorna one more time
The time when raptors were scary and deadly❤❤
Don’t go to the tall grass
Don't go into the long grass*
@@schaxor3807 don’t go into the tall grass
One of the best scene of all the franchise. Hope something similar in the next prequel/sequel with the same raptors CGI models.
Those velociraptors are so COOL 🤯
You can say that again!😎
Wheres the "Nick Van Owen"????
Stood out to me, too! It's there, but for some reason the sound of Dr. Malcolm calling out "Nick Van Owen?" is much quieter than on home releases and streaming versions.
I saw this in the cinema too and it’s been my favourite movie ever since! I probably watch this 10 times every year!
Jurrasic park>>>>>world series❤
Anytime ❤.
For me, it depends on the movie.
Of course 💯
Obviously, literally every single fan would agree lol
This scene by far makes the velociraptors appear much more creepy and sinister especially during the part when the raptor was slowing breaking the window by forcing its head inside while jerking it's head in an unsettling way. Its what makes this film so amazing!
My all time favorite movie. The Lost World also has the besy music; love that percussion
I love velociraptors
Real, or in JP?
Both
I love the Velociraptors in JP better than Real Life ones
At least Nick wasn't making noises like them
This is Raptors territory
One of the best scenes in the movie
Jurassic World: Chaos Thoery season 2 please ❤
It was renewed for a second season set to premiere in late 2024.
This is so smooth
Finally! That raptor brawl in good quality! 5:40
This would have been 10 times more horrifying if they got the Carnotaurus in here like the novels
Right?? I don't know why they cut the Carnotaurus from the movie. They were terrifying in the book!
One of my first dinosaur figures was the tiger striped raptor from this movie. I still have it displayed on my shelf to this day. Raptors are my favorites!
4:11
That girl was the only person who managed to kill a raptor in the original trilogy.😮
Kelly aced that raptor. Her gymnastic skills are too OP for the likes of a single Velociraptor.
Tiger-Striped Velociraptor Attack!!!🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖🦖 Sizzling Centrosaurus!
I do like the raptors in the lost world Jurassic Park film and don’t go to the tall grass
Hi
Run!
This is one of my favorite places in the Jurassic Park franchise. The Workers Village 😌
Really scary time
this is the only scene that kind of scared me.
Велоцираптор с размером с индюка 😏
We know this isn't accurate velociraptors
3:52
Sarah: Kelly, Kelly no.
Kelly: Hey you.
( Kicked 🦵 the Velociraptor out the window and makes a perfect landing).
Dr. Malcolm: The school cut you from the team?
That was a good one because it's a good thing that Kelly took gymnastic class.
Even though this wasn't the best movie out of the franchise, it still gives us the chills about dinosaurs and memories :)
Life finds a way
Sarah’s lucky pack saved her one last time! 👏
The music man the freaking music gives pointerss ❤
WWWWW, I LOVE JURASSIC WORLD!
i miss Isla Sorna
Who else is ready for next Beyond the Gates episode??
1:17 : "well I'll probably be safe here"
1:20 *nope* *nope* nope* !!! 😂
Could only imagine what a Scene with full grown Dilophosauruses hunting the Ingen Research team would look like.
I watched this in cinema with my dad🎉
Honestly it sucks they don’t make movies like this anymore.
Off topic but they should add a full sized dilophosaurus in the next film or in JP: Survival as Stan Winston and Steven Spielberg confirmed that the individual in the first Jurassic park movie was not a adult and was in fact a juvenile,
if you don’t believe me this video is proof as video is from the old E! Entertainment special on The Lost World: Jurassic Park that’s shows behind-the-scenes footage of Steven Spielberg the director of the first two Jurassic movies and Stan Winston the man who made the animatronics for the Dinosaurs verbally confirming that the small Dilophosaurus seen in Jurassic Park are indeed juvenile and not fully grown: ua-cam.com/video/-aC-n4Ylju4/v-deo.htmlsi=T4eq7VZ_Hht20mqe
There’s additional evidence such as on the computer screens in TLW when Ian is talking to Kelly in the mobile trailer vehicle Ian says “Kelly Kelly this is um tall talk” and when he says this the dilophosaurus image pops up on the computer behind him though you can’t read it In the scene you can however look it up and it confirms that dilophosaurus can grown up to “20ft in length”
Also Jurassic park the game (although the game is considered soft canon) says the same thing on description about the Dilophosaurus and gives us a rough size beside a human
Jurassic World pls revive my sisters 😭😭
I don’t understand why would you watch this? Just watch the movie?
Come on it’s the perfect excuse to watch the movie
After Patten on top !!!!
This scene has to be the funniest 😂😂😂, I mean, humans are digging while the raptors are also digging, it's like who can dig the fastest and the deepest 😂😂😂😂😂 2 vs 2 as well 😂😂😂😂 But in the end, one of the raptors cheated by using the hole that the humans dug 😂😂😂😂
Attack Of The Velociraptors
I want to know how Ian forgot not to yell it attracts dinosaurs
❤❤
Hello
😮😮
Early
Are you releasing a new Jurassic world movie on July 2, 2025
Julianne Moore was fine back in the day 🥵
when you think about it, this sequence doesn't make sense., it makes less sense than the trex paddock magically having a massive drop! but atleast the trex breakout scene is actually good besides that moment, this lost world scene makes the raptors stupid, the chopper quietly comes in but is very loud on it's way off the island... nick hiding in the building and yet comes out shouting everyone to get to the chopper, idk what hes doing in the building when he could try to help his friends not die.... this scene is just weirdly made. as much spielberg and david koepp together made a good movie, they missed with lost world. i hope david koepp doesnt make the same mistakes again for jw4!
Tokyo.
Where is Blue Raptor Where is you raptor
This is Jurassic Park Not Jurassic World
Nick..... Nick..... Nick van owen.
Leave the island
Ian Malcolm: it’s okay it’s over now Kelly.
Sarah Harding; Ian! Do not talk to Kelly.
Ian Malcom: why?
Sarah Harding: she’s punished for sacrificing herself to save you.
Kelly Malcom; but I didn’t get killed.
Sarah Harding; this does not concern you Kelly, and you’re lucky I’m gonna tell your grandparents you were swinging up there. You know it’s really dangerous and you are a big trouble for that. No reward for you.
Ian Malcom: she deserves it Sarah.
Sarah Harding: no she doesn’t Ian mind your business, nick! Take Ian home! I still have to teach Kelly a lesson.
There's a heavy steel wrench by the door. Grab it and brain the raptor! Look for weapons, brace the doors, don't just stand there gasping! Too stupid!
Choose your side 🥩 or 🥦
Did anyone else notice that Jurassic World: Dominion was a bit Woke? I thought I was crazy, but there is evidence that the entertainment industry is going down that path, caring more about meeting the agenda and leaving art aside.
PD: Get Woke, Go Broke.
