Same, I just did a Christmas trip to key west from miami on 150cc chinese scooters. Always carrying spare parts for days but Not sure if I should take them for this lol if you want to see my trip I made a short lol
I can’t believe I just watched 2+ hours of this. Curiosity got the best of me. It was pretty well done all things considered. Maybe some day when I have the time and money. I think the most perplexing part is how several people left things behind at a hotel. I’ve traveled a lot in my lifetime but I have never left anything behind at a previous destination.
Excellent work men. Please make a video that consists of Lawson getting slightly peeved at normal day to day situations and just losing his shit and ranting to himself. I'd watch that over and over again. A very funny man.
Oh man that gave me goosebumps! I do endurance challenges also but here in Philippines its either a 24hour challenge or an 18hour challenge wow congratulations to all legends 🎉🎉
Awesome! This feels to me more like a "Rally" with stages rather than Cannonball. I might be wrong but in my mind Cannonball is non-stop from coast to coast (NY to CA).
Spent the evening watching this with my husband. Absolutely hilarious. Great production 👏 Now we're talking about trying this run ourselves in a couple years.
My friend did 2021 & 2023 Scooter Cannonball Run QuasiMotard! I like try it but I have health problems I am diabetic and disability from knee injuries!
This is seriously making me miss my scooterboy past, and the dreams I had of riding my vespa across country, I really need to get another old school scoot and get after it. My last bike was a 1970 Vespa Rally 180. Vultures SC from NJ, Also huge props the the Checkered Demons SC outta Nj and NYC, Chain of Fools SC, Tundra Schmucks outta Canada, Jedi Knights outta Ann Arbour, Baltimore Bombers outta MD, and all the other clubs from the late 90's that I am forgetting...
@@arnoldmaclean1901 if things don't change i wont be doing it because i'm not doing it on a trail 125. i just cant get ahead to get a pcx ADV or a Burgman.
@@MadsWorld34 I mean it's possible even with it. Check out qausimotard 2021 cannonball run, did it with the suoercub with a trailer. I'm doing it with air cooled gy6 150cc scooters
@@anad44 i have been on the phone all day trying to trade my trail 125 in on a ADV 160. but its looking like i will have to pay off this trail and just keep it then get a ADV.
Pretty interesting show, I hope they improved their vocabulary since then. I bet their Mom's are so proud of those potty mouths. 😖 This "race" seemed less put together than the Cannonball for the antique motorcycles. I didn't see anyone using smartphones so probably an old show. Still amusing to watch.
years ago, (Years ago) WOW!!!! we did weekend trips called poker runs, where we had to do the same thing, but on motor bikes. at the time I was on a Kawasaki KH400 1975 I think. (three day events
Is it just me or was Lawson just an idiot? He did nothing but whine and didn't even help others setup his bike. With his total lack of road sense on two wheels and me me me attitude he and I would last about half a day before I left him to it!! If he concentrated as well as he loved hearing his own voice then maybe he'd learn something 😊
That oil light issue @20:00 or so is a service maintenance light, it's VERY common on motorbikes to turn on to tell you to go do the 1000km servicing on new bikes. So if you've never owned a bike or brought one new before it would freak you out. It caught me off guard on my KTM Duke 390 and Honda Grom. It goes away after 50kms or so. BTW I sooooo want to do this one day. Maybe on a big bore Honda Rukus or big bore Honda Navi .. I'd rather do it on a Grom but that's not a scooter.
As I was watching this Lawson and Cory kept bugging me as they reminded me of some actors and it finally hit me. Lawless is Will Arnett and Cory is Colin Ferguson, Their personalities and looks are dead ringers for them comedian actors. Also they sound EXACTLY like them actors.
I feel like i would like these dudes in real life, so I'm not going to comment the absurdly ugly shit that popped into my head watching my man fail to put down a centerstand.
Ok, this looks like something fun to do....except some of those particular scooters are way too damn small for me to take across the country. You at least need a touring scooter for this. lol I would do this on a AK 550 for sure, maybe a Kymco X-town 300i if I were drunk when I made the decision. This is not an endurance race for the people as much as it is for bikes.
I got my little Vespa LX50 Touring 2T F1 for my 50th B-day 😊 its a 2010 so i have to do some work before i can go on my adventure this summer. Best regards from Norway
Great Video. Don't think my azz and back could take that kind of trip. I ride a 150cc Chinese Zuma knock off. If your every in the Nashville, Tennessee area look me up.
Guy really had no business learning the fundamental very basics of riding on such a treacherous way, he actually did 200 mile bike break in only around city block in his neighborhood is just really silly Maybe I didn't get context of dynamics of their relationship, but wtf i hope those 2 are not friends any longer, some really shady shit going down on this cbr, hope the organizers get it straightened out The one guy who supposed be the other guy friend, he strikes me as a fn snake in the grass, probably want get him out picture because he wants his wife, pretty nasty i feel bad for the guy he seems like decent guy, but his 2 so called friends seemed like pos!
He was dangerous, I've done this sort of trip in Europe but I'd been riding scooters' about 6 months in all conditions before I went more that 100 miles in a day.
After buying a 49cc 2 stroke scooter to test the water to see if I wanted to get a Motorcycle (which I did) and doing over 2000km on the scooter (in 15km stints) I can honestly say there's something wrong in your head if you want to ride it across America, along highways etc. the fact they are speed limited to 45km/h is the first problem. the cars that want to go the urban speed limit literally push you off the road to get past, get very angry and abusive. & the only way to fix it is to remove the Gearing limiter so it can do 60km/h (10 km/h above the speed limit) so you can keep up with the flow of traffic and be safe (it also saves a ton of gas not having to be at full throttle all the time, and being able to go faster) The next problem is that they are a light weight "Sail" and get blown around like a balloon. and then there's the cramped seating position and the knees hitting the handle bars all the time. not to mention, it requires different muscles to hold yourself up than it does on a Motorbike or car, so if your not used to it you are going to get a very sore lower back. but hey, I'll happily be a support vehicle with my V-Strom!
I must add... buy a Japanese MADE scooter to do it, mine was Italian design, Chinese made using a clone of a Yamaha design engine, and the rear wheel bearing gave out at less than 1000km (around 550miles to be precise)
So who else just watched this and is looking for a 2025 partner? haha

Guilty is charged! A friend told me about it last week and of course, now I am obsessively researching
Same I have a 2007 mp3 250 ide have to rebuild the whole bike to make the trip doable
Who wants to split the hotel room?
Lol
Me in central PA. I'm 70 realy considering this

Bikes for sure haven't evolved as much as cameras and communications 😂
Starr lives up to her name, that woman can repair anything and is as tóugh as nails.
Huge Props to Starr and her Lambretta!!!! Old school or no school.
i will be 63 maybe 64 in 2025 depending on when they do it but i will be doing the 2025 cannonball.

Wow! What a video! What a ride! One hell of a ride this is! Too too good!!
ive been watching quasimotard cannonball run, and this was different. hope you guys do it again but better preparation and better scooters.
Just got a super cub 125 ,traded a 2010 super glide. Bad left knee ,love the step thru .would love to do this
Fan-frick'n-tastic edit!!!!
I watched this before my first Cannonball in 2021.
Loved it, I have a scooter and I am hooked.......
Glad that you enjoyed it!
awsome movie.. thanks for making and sharing :)
Awesome!
What a great film, well done
I followed Quasimoto 's 2 trips.heard there were adv150s and monkeys too.would love to know who they were and see how they did
Excellent.
Okay so after some research I think this was filmed in 2013, and released as a documentary in 2016
filmed in 2010
Great film
I enjoyed this documentary.
Respect to the gal on the Lambretta, the only proper scooter there!

I’m thinking not a ride for beginners. Hell of a start
The Helixes did well. I just picked up a helix and am excited to put some miles on it.
Great video wish I could join you.😎

This is not recent! I did the Scooter Cannonball 2023 and this is definitely not it.
filmed in 2010
Enjoyed watching this.😂

Me as a kymco nexxon 50 owner, is gona like this vid :)
Do the 50cc scooters take a route that doesn’t involve highways ?
I really don't know what this is about, but i like scooters. And I own a weird one: Yamaha Tricity 300. She eats motorways (and my lower back)

Bingo, had the same issue during the 2023 SCB run about 700 miles in. Groms are welcome. It'll be the greatest thing you ever do.

Great job cool azz video Peace n Love now ive got to cannon ball its on thus list now
58:10 this part had me dying 😂
Why do people think that doing long-distance trips on scooters is like a no-no, when cyclists do this every day anf nothing is said. Very Bizarre.
I feel like i would like these dudes in real life, so I'm not going to comment the absurdly ugly shit that popped into my head watching my man fail to put down a centerstand.
I done this on my 5o cc Honda scooter........but my country is very small (Denmark) so its only 80 miles a croos

Ffs, luckily they never had to ride a big mileage, Brit riders have done round the world on smaller bikes with less drama.
Must be the F word in every sentence.
If there's a winner it's a race.
What year was this?
