I have a 2023 Buick Envision Preffered with 2.5 turbo. I bought a 2023 envision used the end of February with 5400 miles on it. I use it for work and I’m sitting in the service center right now for another oil change at 31,000 miles. Everything has brand very well with it, I do hear a puttering noise once it’s been running, and I am sitting idling at a light, I think it might be a family or something
If you actually ever driven a Buick the ride is great. Quiet. Smooth. And always has a premium feel. They make a killing China. Here in the US they just don’t have much a a competitor. Which is why they stay afloat. It used to be Mercury, Plymouth, etc. They are truly great vehicle and very reliable. I like them because they are different looking and you don’t see them around every corner. Considering the size of the Enclave, it cargo volume and the features. They really aren’t expensive. Keep hatin but they always keep chugging.
The failure of the Enclave’s HVAC mode actuators is why I’m done with Buick. If your going to build junky parts at least make it easier to access them for replacement.
So many things wrong with this video, starting with the clickbait headline. To list all of the FORMERLY MADE models of Buick (such as Rendezvous, LeSabre, etc.) as "OUT OF STOCK" --- when they have been out of production for YEARS makes no sense. And it's totally irrelevant. The depreciation % after 5 years was not significantly (statistically) different for the Buicks vs. the Fords or the Chryslers (61% vs. 64%) ... give me a break. You call the Pacifica "one of Chrysler's more popular offerings" --- yet they only have TWO MODELS in production: the Pacifica & the 300! Look, the thing about Buick is that GM has been allowing it to languish for a few years with little marketing support & not much new product to offer. They are planning to revive it somewhat with "Electra" EV models, but this will take some time, & the delay might cost them too much. They are winnowing down their Buick dealers to those who also do well selling Chevy & GMC. In the meantime, buyers in this CRAZY market could do well by visiting their local Buick dealer & getting a good deal on an SUV which might really be enough below MSRP to make it a good value vs. the competition which is at above-MSRP. ALSO... it is worth noting that Buick has been scoring well ABOVE AVERAGE in JD Power satisfaction surveys.
those are good points, especially the one "out of stock" for cars no longer in production,. his videos are better than that. my 2020 enclave had a too high sticker price for what you were getting in the trim level :essance"but i got a huge discount in January 0f 2021 before cars were being sold over msrp, to my surprise, i get a lot of compliments on the thing, and i have had no problems with 18000 miles on it now
My dad had a buick many years ago and it was our family car for many years. I had a Buick Regal and never thought I owned one. because Buick is so under rated. I absolutely loved it. It was one of my favorite sedans I've owned. Lots of things we use here is made in China as we all continue to complain yet we still buy it just like our phones. Depreciation well... once you get rid of your car and take it to a dealer and turn it in they will give you what they feel is appropriate... usually they all low ball you no matter what car you have. i have been doing a lot of research this time around whether I get Buick or another asian import I'm going to be fine with my decision. Take a look at Chevy their cars are made in S Korea so unless you want a Ford you still won't get American they are made in Mexico and Canada.
I just rented a buick for a week and no lie, it was the smoothest between buick, mazda, hyandai, honda, and toyota. Didnt even noticed it had the auto off and on while the others it was obnoxious hearing and feeling that engine turn on and off. Unfortunately they have a brand issue and started off low.

I just spent two weeks searching for a 2023 Buick Essence. Lots of them out there. Found dealerships to be rude, time wasteful, and unwilling to move on price. I found what we were looking for and am happy with my choice. Funny how the others are calling back with nearly the same deal as we got.
I just purchased a 2017 Buick Encore for $18,000...65,000 miles...I hated the fact I even had to get a new vehicle but my 17 yr old Nissan completely rusted-out underneathe..sad I love that car..had only 64,000 miles but these Iowa winters ruined the under carriage ..

I have a Buick Encore from two years ago, previous owner put in a battery that works in the south not the north, but the dealership didn't tell me and I had to pay for a new battery for the north cold weather and they did nothing to compensate me for. The one tire was slow leak and it was issue 3 days after I got the car and they would not replace the tire. I was given 5 free Oil Change, Care Board Filter and Wheel Rotation, but after dealership switched owners they wouldn't Owen the agreement upon purchase of my Encore. On the dashboard also it has apps that I do use and then last year I noticed that after I had to take my car in for expensive fix up that should have been already resolved prior to buying the car the year before by the dealership Buick dealership problem I can no longer access by putting my Gmail and my password in to upgrade and update my apps on the screen which doesn't help me at all because I travel a lot and I also go out of state and with my service dog with me on the reason why I got the Encore because I have a service animal and we go everywhere and I wanted to comfortable ride. So anyhow I come to find out that the previous owner of the dealership made an agreement with OnStar that they would install a software that prevents you from upgrading any other apps on your touch screen if you refuse to pay for the overcharged OnStar ridiculous expense costly app then OnStar software would go in and disable your ability to upload and update your other existing apps on your touch screen because you're not willing to pay for the OnStar so it's a commissioned by the previous Buick dealerships company to sell a I would say malicious anti customer software in which if you want to update all your other things on your Buicks touch screen you're not allowed to access and go in and use your Gmail or your email and your password and then go in and add or remove and then update the ones that need to be updated because you're not willing to pay for onstar's ridiculous overpriced feature . And I just found that out from the dealership after the change of hands but that's what they did previously so now I have to go up there and they have to manually go and remove that software and put a software and that's with the new with the new models that overrides OnStar malicious software that prevents you from upgrading and updating all your other apps on your touch screen because you don't want to use OnStar and it's not necessary. I have had a Chevy I have had a Ford I have had a Mazda and I have never had issues until I got my Buick from the customer service to Rolling off a lot with issues and them not going and fixing those issues and telling me that I have to fix it myself if I won't pay for an arm and leg for their plan membership thing which is garbage and I've also been getting calls from Buick telling me they want to speak to my husband and I am a single female trying to force me to pay for unnecessary stuff for their so-called Buick customer plans that I'm not interested in it and it's more cheaper to go to a auto place that will not charge me an arm and a leg for the things I need and after the new change of hands and then refusing to get me the free oil change free cabin filter and rotation of tires they keep bugging me about what I'm going to come in for the free rotation of Tire and Oil Change and I said well I still need the cabin filter but if you're not going to supply that free with the five free of the three things then I'm going to go take my money elsewhere and it's cheaper elsewhere. I've never been into a dealership before where I've been having people who have nothing better to do walking around and coming up and trying to harass my service animal but at the dealership now I have which makes me uncomfortable every time I have to go up there for anything to do with situations that should have been fixed before I got the car and so no I don't recommend Buick and I can say after I pay off the last part of my loan because I took it out and I bought the car and I had to take a loan out to take care of the rest of the difference I will still keep my Buick but I will never go to the dealership unless absolutely necessary and I'll be looking for another vehicle.

When I lease a Encore in 2017, it went for $150 a month. Now a Encore lease is close to $300 a month. This vehicle has a outdated body and a under powered engine and some come with a problematic CVT transmission.

Commercials do sell cars, riding in a friend or neighbors' car sells cars. so why in the world would you make the back seats uncomfortable and have a loud cabin. man! you guys have been in the bathroom to long cause you no longer smell what you are putting out. good grief!

Buick is the grandpa brand they have nothing that’s appealing to younger people!! The cars they make are mostly rebadged chevys or Chinese junk and the whole line up is pretty unattractive!! The cars seem to be semi reliable but lack character it’s like saying yea I want a little luxury but I’m to cheap to buy a Cadillac so I’ll just get the rebadged Chevy with a few better amenities! 👽🛸

I will keep my Toyota RAV4 thank you.
The Envision, it doesn't have all tacky outside front and rear end fake plastic flare and space age circus lighting that Kia's, Nissan's and Hyundai's have. Resembles the new Mazdas and is one step behind a Rover in looks.
Two words folks "GM unreliable".........
Why is General Motors buying back Buick franchises from Dealerships? They are Dead?
This guy just hates Buicks! He must be working for the “other guys” 😅😅😅😅😅
Good but overpriced
Buick just does not have a product that stands out from the pack. Everything they offer now looks just like the rest of the unappealing offerings.
Buick still exist?………
This is BS prices never dropped….ever.
They are just over priced.
Buick ✊🏾
Problem with Buick is it's a GM product.
A company that that sold their soul to wall street and golden parachutes, instead of make a quality product.
The dealers are trying to cheat you.

Is the engine made in China?
The Envision is made in China. The Encore & Encore GX are made in South Korea. The Enclave is made in North America.
And the Encore (not GX) replacement, the Envista will be built in South Korea.
The Buick encore is a bellybutton vehicle.
the Buicks are bad but they are better than the WTF were they thinking bowtie

Buick is the grandpa brand they have nothing that’s appealing to younger people!! The cars they make are mostly rebadged chevys or Chinese junk and the whole line up is pretty unattractive!! The cars seem to be semi reliable but lack character it’s like saying yea I want a little luxury but I’m to cheap to buy a Cadillac so I’ll just get the rebadged Chevy with a few better amenities! 👽🛸
