Field Hospital Mobilization

With the assistance of the 18th Medical Command and the 374th Airlift Wing, the 311th Field Hospital received the opportunity to mock forward deploy and practice setting up a 32-bed hospital in an unfamiliar location.
The goal of the exercise was to deploy the 311th Field Hospital mobilizing from Ohio to Japan, establish an area of operation and then conduct hospital operations. It's really our wartime mission is to be able to deploy the hospital into a different environment than what we're used to.
