I thought this was a fever dream i had whilst a kid lol because i tryed to tell people about this show and noone had seen or heard of it . Nostalgia is strong with this one
I remembered Mike and Angelo very well indeed. Tim Whitnall was great as Angelo. Tyler Butterworth who came before him was good also, but most of my childhood was with Tim as Angelo. And I remembered Katy Murphy being in it and if memory serves me right..... I think she was also in the later episodes of Spatz ?
Whew! I thought it was just ME! Didn’t care 4 the show myself either, but LOVED the end creds version of the theme song (none of those irritating SFX to spoil it!) 😁
Watched this as a child and loved it. There was one crazy episode where Angelo gets revenge on a mean old neighbour by possessing her washing up liquid bottle and scaring her silly. If I ever get granted 3 wishes I will definitely wish for a wine gum.
Hello childhood its been a long time. I remember coming home from school in the 90's and before Cartoon Network it would be one hour out CBBC and the another hour of CITV they don't make shows like this anymore.
OMG! Talk about nostalgia I absolutely love Mike and Angelo even when I am at the radio station I can never stop watching this series same goes for my other favourite children's shows. I am a real fan of classic children's telly and the intro at 00:00 is really catchy.
I remember watching this, and I remembered the theme tune but couldn't remember that the two went together. I was wracking my brain trying to remember where I heard the theme tune from but couldn't for the life of me remember.
"Buxton's baked beans, they're big on taste and small on price" LOL! I remember when the character of Rita was designing a billboard for a fictional baked beans brand and was unhappy when Angelo copied her design. My brother and I remember that scene well but he always got confused and thought the character of Katy Andrews played by Katy Murphy was the one who designed the baked beans poster but Rita, who was the mother of the first Mike on the show actually designed the billboard poster but was later written out and replaced by Katy. Katy Murphy who played Katy also starred in another CITV series called 'Spatz' which was set in a fictional fast food restaurant where she played Fiona who was nicknamed 'Freddy' and was ripping holes in her jeans on purpose in one Spatz episode LOL! Katy was also in another CITV series but I cannot remember it's name or who she played.
I have been singing this tune for the padt 6months amd couldnt remember what it was... its 1am on wednesday morning i just woke up and said oh is it this..😂😂 goodnight im going back to slee0
For many years afterwards even talking mid/late 00's I remember in my dreams climbing upside down on walls not because of Spider-Man but Angelo I remember thinking the series went downhill after he stopped doing that.
You don’t know what I had to type into google to find this I had a dream remembering someone walking up walls on a itv show in the 90s when I was young
Literally the only memory I retained was the juggling, so I imagined that to be a much more important aspect. Other than that, I have no idea what the show was!!
I always wondered what that stupid pink thing was far right of screen during opening credits. Kinda looks like an inflatable ice cream, which is just weird.

The music was 10x better than the actual show itself
An odd show that I usually enjoyed, but the episodes were hit and miss.
LOVED the theme though ;)
Whew! I thought it was just ME! Didn’t care 4 the show myself either, but LOVED the end creds version of the theme song (none of those irritating SFX to spoil it!) 😁

+busterkeatonsbriefs Trust Angelo to have a relative who is a genie. :)
Literally one of the best comedy shows on at the time, I particularly loved the space invader episode.
This was waaay better than the original Saturday night live style theme that they had… we all needed this theme tune in our lives
I used to love this show! But I also remember the Mike before the blonde kid.

The theme song does remind me from S Club 7 reach for the stars song.
Loved this

tears"
The best doctor who spin-off
I even thought this British television programme looked awfully familiar to me as a kid especially the opening.
Come on Britbox put this on please.
Have you got any epsiodes of Mike and Angelo
For some reason this tune always reminded me of Slade's "Cum on feel the noize" or rather, the Slade song reminded me of the Mike and Angelo theme.
listen to that 90s acoustic guitar pick-up quack!
Literally the only memory I retained was the juggling, so I imagined that to be a much more important aspect. Other than that, I have no idea what the show was!!
Originally a Thames show taken over by Carlton
quality
I always wondered what that stupid pink thing was far right of screen during opening credits.
Kinda looks like an inflatable ice cream, which is just weird.
Hahaha Hahaha
Say what you will about this awful series, the two leads could juggle. That's not nothing.
This show was the biggest pile of plops ever. I remember being angered by the scripts even as a kid.
Did you get counselling for it?
hated this music depressing
