I love this song. Amazing guitar tone and I absolutely love the gallopping sound. The guitarwork is a pure thing of beauty as usual with Lovebites and it's so catchy to boot. I could listen to this on repeat day in day out.
I believe this LIVE video was filmed at Underworld in London, UK on November 27, 2017 during LOVEBITES first ever trip to Europe to perform, that representatives from Metal Hammer Magazine were present at the show and that experience plus EP "The LOVEBITES EP" May 24, 2017 and their first full CD release, "Awakening From Abyss" on October 25, 2017 was what resulted in the "Golden Gods of Heavy Metal, Best New Band 2018" award from Metal Hammer. A 'competition' that included ALL Metal bands worldwide, gender inclusive. This is also their only song with lyrics by Miho and music by Miyako. ("Break The Wall" is their other collaboration with music and lyrics by Miho with the serene 'bridge' & bluesy-solo contributed by Miyako.) Corrections for inaccuracies is always appreciated. 🐺

The good point is so obviously not the bad point. I love how quick you two are to point out where you think a band's influences might come from. Like you, I believe it isn't possible to write music without having some sort of conception of what it might sound like, and the only way you can have that conception is to have heard it from somewhere before you wrote it. Whenever you point out where you think a band has an influence, I check out the band (and song) that you referenced. All it does is help me to grow my metal library, and my appreciation for what younger bands are adding to (and deriving from) the bands that came before them. Kudos to you - especially considering how young you guys are - as a 60-somethin metal-head, I really appreciate your young person's insight.

It's not a bad thing - no band is original, and it's testament to their skills as songwriters (see what I did there?) that you can see where they're coming from musically. Another great reaction! Now, they released a new song from the album called Dissonance, but it doesn't have a video. I reckon you'd love to analyse that one!

You seem like you enjoy this MV version but you also should try the live version because yet Miyako is doing great tapping riff behind the part "break free" but it is buried in the MV mixing and hardly audible.
Lovebites never disappoint! 😛 It’s fast, it’s catchy.. see them live must be awesome! There’s a huge power metal vibe coming from this song, something that I never identified in their other song I think, but that’s great! I find it hard to identify Japanese métal sometimes cause it’s so unique! Awesome review as always guys!🤘
