Lord I pray that you help us overcome all sorts of temptations and unwanted thoughts that come within our mind which tries to bring us back into sin. Lord I pray that you give us the protection of Psalm 91 and let no weapon or scheme of the enemy formed against us prosper. Lord I pray that you forgive us our sins and give the strength to forgive those who sin against us and forgive eachother. Lord I pray that you save all of us through your grace and through your grace alone we are saved. I pray that you protect us and guide us as always. I believe this is why God puts a new heart in us so we can walk in the newness of life. I remember in a Paul Washer sermon, it's called regeneration or something like that.

I tried so hard resisting today gosh dang I am trying I have hope but it seems hopeless in trying to love the word more and making sacrifices is painful man
I feel that. Just last month is when I truly found what it means to be a follower of Christ, and it is not easy. All I can say is, don't give up. Now that we have found the Lord in all his glory and all his grace, we are in the process of sanctification. I will admit, earthly desires are enticing, but remember that God's plan for us is greater than ours, and choosing to follow him is a daily decision. Don't lose hope, and pray for God's guidance and restoration. Remember Jesus loves you.
Matthew 7:13-14 “You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. 14 But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it.”
Mathew 7-21-22-23 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord,shall enter the kingdom of heaven but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name and, and cast out demons in your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you, depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness. John 6-40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him May have everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day. Those who Jesus will reject are those who trusted in their works for salvation and not the finished work of the cross. That's you, Quentin. I'm sorry but I'm confused i thought that the will of father in Matthew 7:21 -23 was answered in john 6:40: For my father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day." Though please pray for me, I'm struggling with addiction and I want to regain control over it as I used too.
Yes dont let this man fool you. Jesus is obviously talking to people that trusted in their own righteousness and works which is why they mentioned it to him. Its only by faith alone you are saved. But we should follow God’s commandments and do good works to benefit others and ourselves.
Addiction is a tough nut to crack, but it can be broken. Jesus himself says in John 16:33 (CSB): "I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. You will have suffering in this world. Be courageous! I have conquered this world." Live in the peace of the Lord's strength and his unwavering love, and through him you can overcome your addiction.
Don't take control of your addictions If you really want to be free of your addictions, then pray to God, have Faith and let Him take absolute control of it Only then will He be able to change your 👍🙌❤️
Is it ok to have fun during your time with Gid like doing things you like and combining it with faith, like say during worship, your good at making some things, but the Bible says to sing to the Lord, can I make the thing for the lord, or do I sing?
