By far the best version of this song, this is one of my favorite tracks I've heard in a really long time. I keep coming back to this song and listening to it years after I heard it the first time. It never gets old.

I remember the summer this came out a bunch of us used to pop a capsule, lay on a nice fluffy blanket on the ground, stand a disco light on the floor to project onto the ceiling, blast all kinds of electronic music & just talk about life. You knew it was a good song when everyone stops mid sentence once the beat dropped. Once the song was done; everyone's mind is completely blown and starts laughing HAHA. This is one of the many remixes that Jeff has engraved into my arsenal of music. I'll probably call those people my friends for the rest of my life because of this music. :)

My exposure to this song was Bassnectar playing it in a set list at an illegal warehouse show ( the kind where cops outside ignore tanks being carried into venue). My friends were convinced it was Lorin, but I knew it wasn't. I looked up the lyrics to find Seven Lions a few days later and honestly even though he's consistently released absolute bangers, I just don't know if he can or will ever top this. It's just so complex and layered. It's too good.

There's never been a Seven Lions created or remixed piece put out that I haven't liked. The guy is a modern musical genius, like if Mozart was alive today with the potential we have at our disposal.
Music like this really brought me together with so many new friends and even strangers. Sadly a lot of my friends are gone from going too deep on hard drugs. The others moved away after we became true adults going on to our careers and rarely seeing each other even to simply have another night at a show. One of the best friends I had, the last show we got to see together before he relapsed and ODed a month and a half later was Pretty Lights with his full live band. One of the fondest memories and later one that was the last good memory of a good friend who had connected me with soo many awesome people ended an Era where we last all saw each other at his funeral.
This is so atmospheric. It is my number one song for disconnecting and to get visuals that stimulate creative thinking. Please keep creating such great music.
