People don't get that volt now is a nuke frame and not a speed frame anymore, frames like wukong and nova or even the operator with naramon can perform better than volt nowdays.

In the new cinematic opening for warframe, volt is shown to be going fast enough to see everything in slow mo. But gauss is made specifically for speed, the way people wanna play volt. They shouldve reworked his role in the cinematic but then again volt can be really fast.
I like to imagine that Gauss goes so fast that things go fast for him too. Like, Volt is meant to get up close and personal and use his overcharged speed to overwhelm the enemy. Gauss is supposed to be a self-directing shot from a rail gun that arrives on scene and immediately annihilating anything it comes into contact with. Picking the enemy apart in detail.

I like to think that Guass will be used for outdoor use, seeing as he’s for straightforward running. Volt is the indoor speedster, seeing as he’s more agile and maneuverable
Akuulah 373 gauss will be great indoors as him running into things creates a kinetic shockwave.

gauss is also indoors. he can do a short burst with the mach rush. if the area is very small, it's still beneficial to taking out enemies. kinetic plating can boost this, doing either more cold or hot damage

Hmm it's operating on the same principle as my main Frame Nidus. Nidus uses a stacking system while this one uses a charge bar. First a ability kick starts the process. Just like Nidus. Yep. I'll take one.

The issue was that you had to use specific weapons to keep up. That's game breaking. That's why they changed it.
