I stayed in that island too, and took day trips to resort islands and did some snorkeling. It’s great island for budget travelers like me

This is helpful. Drone shots were nice,,, you covered your experience on the island in 10 minutes! this video I will refer to again before my trip to maafushi hopefully before the monsoon this year. The tips will be handy I believe.

We are staying there at Kaani Palm Beach hotel, Maafushi. We wasn't going to visit this place due to the touristy crowds but are visiting other atolls so though we would give it a try
You will have a lovely time. It’s very touristy however that’s not necessarily a bad thing, definitely so much more to do in comparison to other local countries!

Hey! Thanks for following! Yeah, you have to get a PCR test before leaving the Maldives however it’s normally arranged by your resort or guesthouse!

MAAFUSHI, YA JUST BEEN THERE NOTHING ON ISLAND BOARING , ONLY KAANI HOTELS HAS NICE BEACH OTHERWISE JUNK ALL AROUND , PEOPLE ARE GOING THERE NOW BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE CHOISE TO GO ANE WHERE , IF YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED YOUR SELF THEN GO MALDIVES OR MAAFUSHI. JUST WAIT COUPLE MONTHS AND GO THAI LAND OR PHILIPPINES MORE TO SEE MORE TO EAT MORE TO EXPLORE NICE PEOPLE AND CHEAP
