Don't be afraid to dream outside the lines Don't be afraid of painting pictures within your mind Don't be afraid, your path is not of sorrow Don't be afraid, dreams are immortal......
Warrel was the biggest loss in my life until my sister died a week ago & now he's back w/ me as the only way I'll make it thru this. Much luv metal fam \m/
Warrel was the coolest “rock star” I ever met. The guy literally hung out with my bass player and I and had a burger with us just cause I walked up and asked if it was him. He was in full civilian disguise lol so awesome RIP
He was definitely one of the nicest guys I've ever had the opportunity to meet. Hell, all the guys in Nevermore were down to earth and super friendly with their fans.
So sad he wasn't able to finish the vocals at least. Apparently he had intended for an 80minute record. It clocks as is around the 40minute mark apparently. I'm still so sad. Arguably the greatest vocalist ever, in my opinion.
I can’t explain my feelings that warrel dane and his music creates in me, but I never cried so often thinking about a dead person than I do when I think of Warrel. Great, great musician! I will forever miss him.
Very sad to lose Warrel, personally my favorite vocalist he told the story everytime right on!!! Memory Eternal Warrel Dane! Nevermore favorite metal band!
One of my all time favorite people, beside his music his presence and charisma shaped a lot in me. Truly a legend who’ll live forevermore with us in our hearts. Rest in Peace Warrel Dane
I didn't know that he had died. Sad. I still have a picture of myself with him taken after a show that was Sanctuary, Warlock and Megadeth. That was probably 1987. We both look so young in that photo. Man, where has the time gone? RIP, Warrel.
NEVERMORE was the soundtrack of my teenage years. And then This Godless Endeavor came out my senior year of high school, oh shit. Still one of the best metal albums of all time in my opinion. I was always entranced by his voice, and his lyrics reflected many of my thoughts and feelings perfectly. It still doesn't feel real that he's gone, but I'm really excited to hear Shadow Work, it sounds like it's going to be very good.
Wow,the world lost an amazing musician and entertainer,Warrell, you will be greatly missed, thank God I have all your CD’s,they don’t get old listening to,from Sanctuary to Nevermore to Shadow Works, amazing music, you live on in our Hearts🤘🤘🤘
I remember jumping on stage at their Dead Heart In a Dead World show in like 2001 during River Dragon and Warrel had a brand new Koi fish tattoo on his forearm that everybody kept grabbing and he'd pull his arm back quick cuz it hurt so bad! It's the little things that make memories so special.
Incredibly sad to watch. Warrel was a unique talent and, for 30 years, one of my favourite vocalists. I look forward to the album with a mixture of joy and heartbreak. R.I.P. Warrel!
When I first discovered Warrels voice many years ago I immediately fell in love. He put his heart and soul into his craft. I can't wait to add this album to my collection of all his other work. It is still very hard to accept that he is gone. There has never been and never will be another voice quite like his. His style and mood completely smashes the conventions of what is considered "metal". Perhaps he was born in the wrong era, but that "out of place" sensibility breathed so much diversity into the genre.
I valued this man as a singer/artist when he was alive, now he equates to even more after his demise......very few I can honestly say that about. Such a loss, I almost feel like I knew him through his music, even more so after watching this. Passion, power, sincerity & abundance of character.
Soul crushing to see his last moments but it's awesome at the same time. Very hard to fight back the tears at the end there. I want to personally thank these fine Brazilian gentlemen and musicians for forging ahead with the work because I think that's what Warrel would have wanted. I've been a guest in Brazil for over 20 years now and I know Warrel was always made to feel loved and at home here because Brazilians are fucking awesome people. Vlw todos! Abraços.
Mark my grave, and call the winds of torment Oh, remember me now, and feed the wind with your dreams Feel my name, and feel my blood in your veins Now the tide will turn, I will live on through you Mark my name upon the flesh you create No, don't cry for me, my son, myself I am waiting my son, on the threshold to the other side Cannot tell you what is here What I see now is beyond your mind I am formless, but I feel All the questions burning in your head Learn your lesson and never grieve For there is no beginning, and there is no end I'm standing at the door of time, I see life complete Truth is never what is seems Bodies wither, but your mind still dreams No one ever can rest in peace Until they've learned the game and become light to darkness See me shine I'm standing at the door of time, I see life complete Oh father where will I be when I meet my time? You will pass on and follow me, into the sanctuary I am in the mirror, see my reflection in the stars And as you search for truth, so I will shine to spur you on Spur you on Bathe in the pure truth of my light Time is an illusion, death is not conclusion All those who seek the truth will questions still remaining Now listen closely, and all will be so clear I am a messenger, a bringer of light from the other side So chosen now to teach while drifting between lives Drifting, drifting I will be reborn ~ RIP Warrel! Thanks for Sanctuary & Nevermore. 🤘
For all the years he worked, its such a bummer that there is so little released footage of studio time. Glad to see this, but sad to hear that his addictions may have been active at the time of his death. His final TV appearance, he looked awful, frail, almost confused and nothing like he does in these studio recordings...wow.
God, why did you take Warrel Dane from us!!!! i'm still sad that he left us!!! he's the one of the best metal vocalist ever, if a unique voice, and i know lots of people don't known him, what he did!!!! When I see someone who likes rock/metal, i always recommend to listen to Nevermore!!! RIP Warrel Dane, i hope to see you some day in another life!!!
Me senti da mesma forma.
The world miss you Warrel! We love you so much, and thanks for everything ♥️
I met Warrel In Salt Lake on Refuge Denied tour 1988ish. I was just hanging out and this dude comes up n asks me if I want some vodka. I'm talking to him for like 40 mins before I realize he's in a band. I ask him if he played bass is sanctuary. He laughs, gets back on his tour bus comes backout with a bottle ov Jack Daniels we got fucked up and he hungout with me every time he came to town. Always with Jack! R. I. p. Bruther.
I think of him quite a bit and did much even when he was alive as well.. Super big inspiration for me. Cool doc! I'll be buying the album when it comes out. Miss ya Wally..
This is the worst loss to metal in my opinion since the death of Dio. Yeah, he's one of my favorites ever, I don' know how much they could have though...
I could have sworn I heard him say in an interview from just a few years ago that he was 43 🤔 That would mean he was born later than 1961. I know that’s what Wikipedia states. It’s been bothering me lately lol. Anyways I can’t wait for shadowwork. Warrel was a musical god.
poisongodmachine3 That’s strange that it’s been listed on the video that he was born in ‘61. And sanctuary even posted something on his birthday earlier this year and said that “he would have been 57” meaning he was born in ‘61. Really really strange. You’d think they of all people would know his actual birth year 🤷♂️
But if you stop to think about it, it makes more sense that he was born in '61. He had this band called Serpents Knight, and it released an album in 83. He would've been only 14 if he was really born in '69. Maybe he was just trolling when he said he's from '69? I dunno
There's some really good vocalists that cover Warrel Dane, maybe they could bring one on to honor Warrel Dane and sing in his honor to finish the vocals in the unrecorded tracks that don't have his vocals laid down, if there are any, I heard there were some he didn't get to lay the vocals down to, maybe I'm mistaken
I can't help but to ask, would he have died if he went to brazil? Interesting to think about what influences he had over there, that led to his early demise, or was he going to die anyways regardless of location?
Don't be afraid to dream outside the lines
Don't be afraid of painting pictures within your mind
Don't be afraid, your path is not of sorrow
Don't be afraid, dreams are immortal......
the sanity assassin ❤
He didnt see it released but.....he knows how much we love it. R.I.P....your '' memory, is ALIVE''......
Warrel was the biggest loss in my life until my sister died a week ago & now he's back w/ me as the only way I'll make it thru this. Much luv metal fam \m/
Wow! Almost 6 years and it still hurts! Thank you for finishing it!

I'm still so sad. Arguably the greatest vocalist ever, in my opinion.
Still to this day I feel truly devastated when I remember he's gone. What a loss to the Metal community.
I can’t explain my feelings that warrel dane and his music creates in me, but I never cried so often thinking about a dead person than I do when I think of Warrel. Great, great musician! I will forever miss him.

Thanks for making me remember listening to that Behemoth of an album!
nevermore was the soundtrack of my life from birth basically 😂 they're so amazing
Warrel was an authentic artist, genius mind, pure human being and he had a blessed voice. R.I.P. enemy of reality (7/3/1961 - eternity).
Dearly missed...excellent lyricist and singer
Wow,the world lost an amazing musician and entertainer,Warrell, you will be greatly missed, thank God I have all your CD’s,they don’t get old listening to,from Sanctuary to Nevermore to Shadow Works, amazing music, you live on in our Hearts🤘🤘🤘
Warrel Dane used to have a unique voice, There's not an album that sounds bad with him on it. We'll miss you so very much!
I have this album and what a Masterpiece,RIP WARREL,you are missed
Miss Warrel so much! It's so sad that the world has lost him. He will always be a great idol for us. \m/

I have no words; only tears. Rest easy, my friend. Thank you to all involved with producing this video. Beautifully said...
Incredibly sad to watch. Warrel was a unique talent and, for 30 years, one of my favourite vocalists. I look forward to the album with a mixture of joy and heartbreak. R.I.P. Warrel!
This was both heartbreaking and warm to see. Fuck, I miss you W.Dane. See you in the dreamtide.
When this album came out i dont want to make a review or check any reviewer. This a farewell gift and i will celebrate. R.I.P Warrel

He said he was a messenger, a bringer of light from the other side. He wasnt just blowin smoke up our ass. It is a truly great record. Thank you.

this album is the greatest gift Warrel left us, its the only thing that can decrease the pain for his lost.
this album is so great. thank you. r.i.p. warrel.

Can't wait for the album! What a loss for music.. What a Voice....R.I.P Warrel.....
Mark my grave, and call the winds of torment

Now the tide will turn, I will live on through you
Mark my name upon the flesh you create
No, don't cry for me, my son, myself
I am waiting my son, on the threshold to the other side
Cannot tell you what is here
What I see now is beyond your mind
I am formless, but I feel
All the questions burning in your head
Learn your lesson and never grieve
For there is no beginning, and there is no end
I'm standing at the door of time, I see life complete
Truth is never what is seems
Bodies wither, but your mind still dreams
No one ever can rest in peace
Until they've learned the game and become light to darkness
See me shine
I'm standing at the door of time, I see life complete
Oh father where will I be when I meet my time?
You will pass on and follow me, into the sanctuary
I am in the mirror, see my reflection in the stars
And as you search for truth, so I will shine to spur you on
Spur you on
Bathe in the pure truth of my light
Time is an illusion, death is not conclusion
All those who seek the truth will questions still remaining
Now listen closely, and all will be so clear
I am a messenger, a bringer of light from the other side
So chosen now to teach while drifting between lives
Drifting, drifting
I will be reborn

RIP Warrel! Thanks for Sanctuary & Nevermore. 🤘
Only got to see him once live (1988) but left a lasting impression, even to this day! Enter into the Sanctuary...
For all the years he worked, its such a bummer that there is so little released footage of studio time. Glad to see this, but sad to hear that his addictions may have been active at the time of his death. His final TV appearance, he looked awful, frail, almost confused and nothing like he does in these studio recordings...wow.

Puta que pariu. Como eu ainda estou triste com essa perda!

He said in an interview last year that he's from 1969, and that there's a hater that keeps changing his age on Wikipedia
poisongodmachine3 That’s strange that it’s been listed on the video that he was born in ‘61. And sanctuary even posted something on his birthday earlier this year and said that “he would have been 57” meaning he was born in ‘61. Really really strange. Well my friends... let's say that's just Warrel being Warrel ;)
Thiago Oliveira Really? 😂
Wowwww
Hey Century Media, Warrel is actually from 1969 (he's stated it on Jasta's podcast). His birthdate on Wikipedia is wrong.
It's not wrong... it's just Warrel being Warrel ;)
The documentary is awesomel. But I think they should have put the credits of the images, because there are three photos of my own ...
What is that clicking noise in the background heard during the interviews?
Maybe you're having a stroke?
Warell😢
KILLA C.D R.I.P WARREL DA FUKN LEGEND
a documentary about the tribute band session musicians he had for a few shows?
how can it be
To bad nobody is talking about what really happened...
Lucky for Roy Z
.........
That necklace that Warrel is wearing... at 5:45... is that the fucking egg of the king, from Berserk?
I can't help but to ask, would he have died if he went to brazil? Interesting to think about what influences he had over there, that led to his early demise, or was he going to die anyways regardless of location?
:'(
