The track was recorded as part of the sessions for the bands most recent release "Forsaken and Forgotten" which was released in June of 2013. The album is currently available via Itunes, Bandcamp, and various other forms of digital media. The band plans to press a limited edition digi pack version of "Forsaken and Forgotten" which will also include the single "And Life Was Great..." Featuring Warrel Dane.

Always wondered what one of these kinds of bands would sound like with a "real" singer. They grab the best one in the business and surprise, surprise, it literally sounds like jesus descending from the heavens.
If only we could convince other progressive-y bands to go back to having SINGERS vs. screamers. It's time to make the change.

I'm brazilian, today is december 14 th 2017, yesterday Warrel Dane died nearby here where i live in Brazil São Paulo city, I can't belive yet, rest in peace Dane....and "your" life was great.

When I heard this song for the first time early last year I wept. It made me miss Nevermore so much, Warrel conveys such emotion with his voice, it was overwhelming.

Shadowblaz3y I wish to have fun in this conversation. I am a vocalist and I learned both singing and growling, screaming simultaneuosly. And yes growling to become good and controlled needs months of practice, however Warrel I know actually worked with operatic teacher, which is to say that it is hard to sing that way without formal training. And having said that, I listened to both of versions of this song, and we should face it Warrel puts clean spin on the same vocal lines Nurre did and I bet you anything Nurre loved it (ergo released it lol), but fans of growling can fully enjoy non-clean version of this and for such a special occasion we should thank Shaded Enmity :) Peace
A Z I love both versions don't get me wrong my friend, I just think of them as different songs. I was merely angry about how simple minded someone can be. I trained myself for many months for my harsh vocals, and i cannot sing - which is why i can appreicate songs like this even more. Again, I just hate it when people say something is terrible when they don't know anything about it. Peace out!
