Surprisingly Sabu is one of the most sane wrestlers from the older generation. Very sharp memory. Considering all the insane trauma he put his body and head through.

truth. i find i remember things more clearly when baked af. it's like my brain goes on autopilot and things that are memorable my brain just automstically remembers and i don't even realize that i remembered it until someone asks me about it. like this interview here. he's probably not sittin around thinkin about all these things he's getting asked about he's just recalling the information off the tpp of his head. it's better that way.

I love FMW. Especially the early 90s, it has the best female action I've ever seen. The females work so damn hard like they got something serious to prove. Megumi Kudo is the FN best! It doesn't matter what match it is, she goes hard every match.

Im a performing musician and songwriter. Ive tried my best to analyze why I get nervous before gigs. For me, its thinking about flubbing a chord, messing up a beat, or forgetting a line. The funny thing is Ive done all three live and you just keep going and usually no one notices. If you're good at your instrument and you rehearsed enough for the gig, you just tell people its the "live version". The nice thing is, the more you do it, the less nervous you get. At least in my experience.

When I was about 16/17 I refereed a match for Sabu over in the UK around 20 years ago, I was green as fuck and he knew it - which he wasn't happy about, he kicked me out of the ring at the end of the match, good times.

He talks about the explosion matches in FMW, how the bombs are button activated where someone in the back makes them go off. Which makes sense, but I wonder how they would make the bombs go off when they used a loose piece of barb wire plywood. Like in the finals of the 95 IWA Japan KOTDM, Cactus Jack and Terry Funk would move the plywood all over the ring, and it clearly didn't have a wire connected to it to be button activated.

I wished Hayabusa R.I.P. would have had more matches in the United States. Especially against Sabu and RVD. It would have been something if he was in the WWF/E during the Attitude Era. Unfortunate, Hayabusa declined WWF/E offers, during the New Generation Era.

Someone sent me a comment asking me why I look at this channel if I'm opposed to breaking KayFabe (which I feel Sabu did in this interview segment) First, I am a die hard wrestling fan. I appreciate knowing facts like who was the best worker or who needed a shower. What I don't however want to know was details about how tables are gimmicked, or how rings explode. And I think I'm in love with the skinny British guy who does this channel and I want Jim Cornette to get ordained so he can marry us👍

You're right. For example: Movies are better when you watch it and are fully engaged in the characters and story being told. But too many dorks want to know everything, so the info is everywhere and it spoils the movie. I feel wrestling is the same as movies in ways.. and knowing everything is definitely spoiling wrestling. But like the dude above me said.. watching one episode of WWE or AEW is what truly ruins all of wrestling, so much to the point where it is no longer pro wrestling, it is closer to either dancing or circus flipping.
