My uncle has a 1948 Indian Chief that he kept in the living room for a while. It made a cool display and conversation starter for sure. He told me the bike will be mine one day and I plan to have a way to display it in my own home. Prayers to you Itchy and this weather will end sooner or later. I feel your pain as we have about 4 inches of snow on the ground here in Texas right now.
Tell Jordan Happy Birthday. You have more snow than we do. Our snow long melted away then it got cold. Riding with my Sister and her Husband yesterday in the car I told them I like brown. But this afternoon we got an inch or two so we are white again but you get the prize so congratulations. I put the 98 Fatboy in the basement for about three years. Even with the patio door off it was a battle and when I hit the front fender on the door frame and chipped it that was the end of that. The first Two years my Son was living at home and we put his Pure Steele Chopper down there also. When he moved back out I was solo through the doorway and didn't work out well. Well for one afternoon Itchy you can make Snow Angles and a snowman. That will get you out of the house a little while. Maybe if you get more snow you and Buzz can do a little Snow Shoeing. Just trying to be helpful, just remember to get carrots for the Snowman or you might have to use a screwdriver for the nose.
Wow amazing snow looks likes a movie..me I borrow that motorcycle yellow tank it's good to ride and driving around to have fun...I'm just kidding 😂thanks to share everyone sir mark this nice video.god bless
I had to take saddle bags, an front fairing off my gold wing, when I put it in house for winter, definitely ready for riding season, nothing going on at convention center this year, I haven't looked.
Good story Mark. I have a house with a two and a half car garage that's attached. Works out perfect to put my motorcycle in. When traveling and when I stay at a motel I request the first floor so I can park my bike in front of the window.
Well us in St Louis got hit hard with ice and snow, and the powers at be didn’t do much at all to clean the roads. Now we have more snow coming Friday and temps have been in the 20’s, so we might be stuck until June, maybe April, lol. Take care and stay warm.
Hello from Minnesota I can understand every time I go to the garage and see my bike I wish it was spring I don't like winter anymore either...how many miles on you fat boy must be quiet abit 25 years old but the evolution motors are good love your videos think spring blessings from Minnesota
That was a funny story Mark about the bike in the house. That’s some hillbilly stuff. I like it. That was a cool story. I was fortunate to have a garage for my first Harley. But even so I wanted to bring it in the house cause I didn’t wanna leave it even in garage. Now God has blessed me with an insulated attached garage to my house. my heritage stays nice and cozy in the winter.
Mark, It's exactly the only kind of snow I like. The kind you can broom sweep off the porch. As for your '99' Fatboy in the house, we learned a bit about your eccentricities here now. No I didn't call you krazy. But I have my own eccentricities too, but we won't go there for now. About that cancelled gathering at the pub., can the organizers use another method for announcements? Do you have a local radio station willing to broadcast such local events or cancelled events? I often use cellphone text messaging in that regard. You can setup a 'List', then when something is going on, it can go out to a multitude of folks on that list at the same time. I do that for Motorcycle Rides with my fellow bikers. Of course additionally several guys can then call out to a few others to check if it is still 'ON'. Just a thought anyway. To help keep my sanity too, I make phone calls to olde friends that have moved away. It usually works when I make a written note to do that. That contact even if I can't personally visit them for several months lets them know they still mean something to me. And they do it for me too. So thanks for the humorous ... Bike in the house story.
Itchy Just a thought, have you ever considered installing a wood stove in the garage like you have in the house, it would keep the garage warm when you need it
Itchy dude I'm not telling you what to do but you should consider a hot tub they make wood burning ones and the lady's like them alot just saying Soak the winters away and good for the old bones. Classic rock and glass a wine think about under the stars relaxing and melting your stress away while patiently waiting for your next ride.

Itch have you ever use a leave blower to blow away the light snow especially on your deck
Come on to Florida! Freedom Florida 👍
Didn’t you guys get hammered with snow today? I don’t winterize my bike either. I hate winter also.
