My question is about Athletic wear… I can’t seem to find the section in your book, where you specifically discuss how to wash the athletic wear… Do you first dip them in a solution of your “all purpose bleach alternative” for 30 seconds and then throw it in your washing machine with soap flakes or do you put the All purpose bleach alternative in the washing machine along with the soap flakes? Thanks for your help in answering this question.

I can give you a good tip on that!! I fasen all the clips together then use a very small mesh or net bag and make sure it's not able to come open in the washer and I also dry them in the mesh bag, it keeps the clips and hooks on the bra,s from getting stuck in the tiny holes in the washer or dryer and they keep their shape much longer.
Washing in a small mesh bag is a great way to get your bras clean but, I don't recommend tossing in the dryer. If they have the least amount of padding in them it will ruin it. Its best to let them air dry.

I fasten the hooks, wash in cold with whatever baby detergent I find on sale. Yet the hooks come unfastened and tangle in the mesh. Hand washing takes too long. The only thing that I found that works is tying each bra in a separate pillowcase. Again time consuming, there has to be a better way.

I washed a shirt that is black and white stripe. The black bled into the white. Is there anything I can do to get the white stripes back to white? I have washed it 3 times by itself and have not put in into the dryer. This shirt is my dad’s referee shirt from the 1950’s-1960’s. I really hate that I messed it up. I guess I should have had it dry cleaned.
Lemon juice and salt in a paste, rub it in and set it in the sun . Really bad stains may take a couple of treatments. The paste lifts the stain and the sun kills the spores of the mildew so that it won’t come back.

Don't ever put your bras in the dryer. Always let them air dry. Also tie straps together and place in mesh bag
