My new obsession!
Oh my gosh; love, love Patrick! If you’re ever in NC come for tea😂
Welcome Patrick to San Antonio. We just got home from seeing you at the SA Home and Garden show. Thank you for autograph book and photo with us that you took the time to do. We enjoyed seeing you and hearing so much about laundry.
Hi Patrick! I’m a believer… just placed my first order!
I called and talked to one of the people at your store the other day. She was very helpful. I just can’t remember her name.:) i’m a baby boomer and one of my jobs growing up was hanging clothes out on the clothesline which I hated but now I’m trying desperately to find that smell. sheets drying outside on the line smells so good! so what would you suggest that would match that smell as close as possible thank you so much!
Thank you, Patric! My Mom will love you for that💕
I was just about to rush a beloved wool sweater to the dry cleaners again. But no more. Thank you
Finally catching up, glad you loved San Antonio♥
Patrick so glad you loved San Antonio! I just found you on UA-cam. Can you please tell me how to get stains out of my Mother linen knapkins? They were brand new 50 yrs ago never used. Storage staines?

Question for you, if you add essential oils to your wool dryer balls, will the oil transfer to the clothing?
I have the book and all the supplies (I think). A few questions: When you use the soap bar and brush on various items, do you wet the fabric first? How do you get grimy hand towels clean? You've washed your hands, so I am guessing it is skin oils, and one might use the oil stain remover and oxygen bleach, but their texture with the loops might make that method a challenge. My hubby used a deck stain and there are splotches on his jeans that have been washed multiple times: suggestions? Thanks!
Red monster. Drink in beige clothes. And (my grandson THINKS) coffee in a beige shirt. I've tried everything. I've been scrubbing with the horsehair brush for over a week. Amadex soap flakes, vinegar and water. You name it. I've probably tried it. I've probably set it in there. Really good now. Thank you
Thank you!!! Any hope for a shrunken ☹60% merino wool, 40% polyamide sweater? I’m going to go check your book too! Keep that gem in the laundry room🤗. Thanks for your content! Take care.
Such a wonderful series - thank you!! Your new book has been preordered from my local bookstore! A couple of questions:
1) I have a food stain (can't remember what!) on a beloved cashmere white sweater. Is it safe to do the oily soap + oxy bleach + hot water? I did already soak this sweater in oxy bleach (mistake!!) and have tried cleaning it with oily soap a few times.
2) I have some very cute baby wool sweaters for my 1 year old. I have embraced and cherish your tips for washing machine cleaning and have used them for a while now! Since these sweaters are so small, it's hard to get them into a mesh bag and pinned. Can I roll up several of them and put them in one bag?
Thank you!
Allergic to cedar and juniper. Would Fraser Fir work, or does it have some cedar in it? Thank you. I do love the smell of pine.
Hi!
I’ve been working my way through laundry love and my husband had a follow up question that I can’t find an answer to. He and I wear a lot of everyday knit wool layers (tees, sweatshirts, tanks, dresses, etc.)-think the weights of wool base layers in most cases. We can avoid washing them super often, but generally what drives a wash is getting it “snapped back” because they get baggy after a few wears (especially because he’s often sweating in them as he runs/bikes). Do you have any suggestions for how to manage this trouble? It happens with my jeans too! But I think I remember the denim part being in Laundry Love-I’ll have to revisit!
How do you remove sunscreen stains from clothes, especially whites? I already threw a whole bunch of clothes to the trash, it's expensive. I tried bleach (like, chlorine bleach?, I think), it turned the stains green. I would LOOOOOVE to find a solution to this.
My husband has such greasy skin that he is ruining all our sheets and pillow cases. I wash them often but this leads to them wearing out faster. Any tips for getting them clean gently? And his clothes are super greasy as well and never seem to get really clean. How can I strip out the grease and start fresh without ruining the clothes? They are all very dark colors so bleach or oxy clean might cause fading. Thanks!!
my grandson got a light pink sweatshirt for his birthday. He washed it with an assortment of clothes, it came out stained. Is there anything to reverse color bleeding in a new fabric?
How can I remove yellow stains from white sheets and pillowcases
How do you get asphalt out of wool?
When using essential oils on dryer balls, do you need to worry about the oil staining clothes or making your dryer spotty with oil? I have tried using a few drops and it seems to stay oily on the dryer ball. Maybe I'm not doing it correctly. Love your weekly videos!
Let the oil sink in for a minute or so and you should be good to go
@patricrichardson6350 thank you so much!

Have a load of clothes (fleece and towels) that say it the washer over the weekend. How do I get the sour smell out? Have tried washing with your soap flakes and your oxygen bleach several times. No luck. Any other advice for getting rid of the sour smell before I toss them? 14:31
That has happened to me - I detest that sour smell! I did what you did. I ended up drying them so I could begin all over again. Guess what? After I dried them they didn't smell. Good luck!
You mentioned detergent vs soap. Can you explain the difference?
I don't believe this stupid crap!
