I remember a psychology TV programme that took a bunch of nerdy guys to a bar after firmly explaining to each of them a foolproof approach to getting women's phone numbers before they were set loose. Despite being lifelong losers they all scored numbers. The thing was they'd all been given various strategies. The point being made was that it was the sheer belief that had been instilled in them immediately before they were told to get out there that was the critical factor in success. This also applies to females. Dated a girl that fell into the boring, always available pleaser and honestly I was getting more and more repelled to her until I ended things with her. It's interesting seeing things from that perspective.

What if a guy starts out either "unavailable to a girl who really likes him, or simply ignores her at 1st and doesn't care, like a jerk would ( except without acting rude like a jerk) but she feels rejected by him, then they end up hitting it off later on when the guy changes his mind about her, then goes completely the other way where he's trying to be super nice, caring, and giving to make up for the rough start because he feels bad or guilty for rejecting her in the 1st place? This is assuming the girl took rejection really hard, was hurt by it, and she was very pretty and can't understand why any guy would do that to her. I'm asking this question because I've had this experience personally as far?as rejecting beautiful women that I didn't mean to turn down or had the wrong impression about at first.
