Last week i upgraded my mini 2 to the mini 4 pro fly more combo and so far i’m impressed.I have to test it further but so far i am happy with my choice.Especially in combination with my air 2s i have a strong package now and the best of both worlds in terms of smaller and bigger drones.Very happy that dji is about to come up with the C1 label for the air 2s at the end of this month..then my life gets even better 😁👏🏻 1 thing i dislike about the mini 4 pro is the battery duration of the smart controller…imo 3 hours really sucks.I LOVE the cruisecontrol function and i’m looking forward to start flying waypoint missions,for me that was a real sellingpoint that made me want to buy the mini 4 pro.(along with vertical shooting).Also thumbs up for the gimbal protector,they made it so much easy’er this way,really good design imo.With the hight limitation i can live because i rarely fly at 120 meters,my best shots i made slightly above ground level on places i could not reach without a drone 🤔😉
Oh and one question do you think that rc2 is worh compared to rc n2 if I am on tight budget? And is it woth spending extra money on rc2 or is it better to get dji care refresh?

I need it in case something happens when i´m out flying and i have my kids with me. 2. my phone dimms like crazy even when browsing the web here at home, so using this in something like Hawaii has always been bad. I would recommend saving up in that case and get the rc 2 combo!

After happily buzzing around with my sturdy Mini 2 for the past few years and getting fairly reasonable image quality for a mini image sensor, I've been looking at the Mini 4 to improve the latter. The fact that my DJI Smart Controller (quite expensive at the time) does not work with at least the Mini 3 tells me that DJI want consumers to replace everything after a few years: frustrating. The 48 megapixel photo option is really a bit of a marketing gimmick on the Mini 3 and 4 series, and the sensor, about twice the surface area of that of the Mini 2, is still limited to 12 megapixels (a slightly larger pixel size, nothing to write home about). Obstacle avoidance, well, it can be done without lots of fancy sensors too: a bit of terrain reconnaissance inside woodlands prior to flying goes a long way. With DJI operating some kind of trickle down technology type of marketing concept, I would assume that there is a very good chance that a Mini 5 drone version will very likely have the image sensor from the DJI Air 2 s, which could well be phased out. This would be logical, given the new drone restrictions for anything above 250 grams in numerous countries. Thus, I'm wondering whether to wait for a version 5 to hit the market later this year to have something I can use for several years. Updating such relatively expensive equipment every two years or so for relatively limited real value improvements does imply financial losses of a certain magnitude. Each to their own, of course.
Hey Rob, new subscriber here. Do you know if this camera builds/stitches the 360/spherical panorama AND allows you to export it as a 360/spherical panorama into let’s say a virtual tour software? I’m trying to get away from 3rd party stitching apps and want to transfer directly from drone to the virtual tour software….like CloudPano. Thanks for any help.
I want to add the insta 360 x3 allows you to transfer 360 photos directly to the virtual tour software(CloudPano) which is what I’m trying to achieve with the drone.
Hey Rob, thanks for the update video review of the DJI M4P. The props are the same pros as the Mini 3/mini 3 Pro correct? I'm 99.9% sure. A lot of the stuff is Mini 3/Pro stuff like the fly more combo that now comes with the drone. Like the charge hub, plus batts and bag with the extras say for Mini 3 Pro right on the charge hub. Anyways do you know if it's the same with the props? I always forget to ask someone. Also yes agreed quick release props in future generations.
