How A 22-Year-Old Built A 7-Figure Trash Company | Kyle Landwehr

- I’ve got Kyle Landwehr on the podcast today! This guy is a 22-year-old entrepreneur who has built a seven-figure junk business at such a young age and now has transitioned to doing real estate deals and coaching for junk removal. I’ve never heard a story like his before, so I’m happy to have him here! As someone who loves side hustles and entrepreneurship, this is so interesting to me! Kyle worked in construction but started a side hustle to get out of that career. He ended up making $10K his first month, and that’s when he realized how he is in direct control of how much money he can make! He broke his ankle, so this was when he transitioned into running his business, as opposed to working in it, and started in real estate. He actually used the junk removal business as lead generation for house flipping and wholesaling! Listen to the end to hear all about it!

Kyle and I talk about how he utilizes his junk removal company as leads for his real estate ventures, as well as using the junk removal company for other types of jobs, like demolition. He has barely scratched the surface of growing his business, so we talk about how he pushes past plateaus to get to the next level.

Brilliant! What an awesome conversation. Thank you for reminding me what a realistic logical mindset is like. It's almost like a brainstorm session but Kyle was on it, really solid passion and direction.First 15 minutes was great energy. 😎 👍
Impressive, as a future flipper and someone that owns 2 college hunks hauling junk franchises…$1M with that fleet, his age, and his own brand is phenomenal!
I agree! He's killing it!
As a junk removal company, warehouse sellable items and use those products to jumpstart/seed a store similar to Goodwill or ARC.
He is not lying!! It works that fast
I'm 30 min in and I'm loving every single second of the podcast so far. Thank you!
Ryan, I love your podcasts, they're amazing, every entrepreneur you interview is amazing.
Genius. Love everything about this podcast man
Very inspirational video!
specially for me as an immigrant doesn’t have education background who trying to figure out make better path for my first generation.
Seem junk removal can be great alternative of source of income!
Ryan looks like a real life CGI. Bastard has good genes. 😤😤
What’s your pricing structure? How much is your ad budget on yelp and google ads? How much you pay to dump? Commercial insurance? Worker’s compensation insurance? Are you incorporated? How much are your truck payments? How much are you paying your employees? Are they on call? Do you have a warehouse? Who is your call answering service?
Sheesh
@@namechange9470 all this was left out, junk removal ain’t nowhere as profitable especially in such a short time frame, this kid is full of shit.
I tend to agree with you David. He is missing a lot of info. Nonetheless a 22yeard old kid doesn’t have BILLS to pay. Kids, mortgage or rent to pay.
So in one way I believe it. He probably made some great cash during the pandemic. And now he just leveraged it.
Also he must have some investors on the back end to get a line of credit in order to purchase dumps trucks.
Ryan compliments to your barber.. Did a great job on your cut brother.
Great points about chase what makes you unique! No need to sit in front of a camera and talk like the rest, post what makes you unique!
Congratulations you are awesome no haven one more day to help some one to get starting like your in this business
Way to go Kyle
He’s great! 🙌
I must say, the podcast was quite enjoyable.
I need to revise my life and career after wathching this video
Great podcast! Would love more home service industry type owners. People sleep on home services, but theres good money there that can be used towards investments and wealth building.
Amazing content guys... Great questions and answers... So man nuggets. Many blessings to you both.
No mafia ties no trash biz
Really valuable video thank you guys so much 🙏🏻 happy holidays
Glad you think so! Happy holidays to you as well!
Great podcast
What I don’t understand is if his main income is trash removal. And he’s teaching it to people, a business with such low barrier to entry, who’s to say he doesn’t teach some highly motivated monsters who end up competing with him? What’s your take on that? Cause I have struggled with this idea when making my own course.
You dont compete with him when you’re in a complete different state .
@@haroldjeanite1849 you don’t think he can get viewers in his own state?
How do I teach everything to a worker and then, not been worry about them taking my idea and do it on their own?
@@flowersbaskets if they’re a worker then they’re probably not looking to do business especially if you only teach them they’re task, not the whole business strategy.
Business is about relationships. If the relationships are strong, they prevail.
Hey Pedro! I'm really enjoying your channel... fairly new member here. You still looking for ideas? Collaboration?
You're an inspiration and great motivator! Thank you!!
There's more to No Tip No Trip ... would love to run something by you.
Thank you again.
There's more to gig work than pick up and delivery 😊
The earnings you discuss 10 K is that gross or net?
Gross. Net profit is still OK
Incredible interview
This is great... but what 20yr has coin to put out for buying and flipping real-estate without 2-3yrs revenue on the books? Sounds like he maybe had a good bankroll coming from mommy and daddy?
Family money. This story is not typical. Most of us don't have family money to buy a 14k plus dump truck.
@@rickyaclickpowr2187excuses excuses excuses.. unbelievable.. many people finance 20k something used and new cars all the time.. so what’s 14k? You sound nuts. This guy’s story is great.. he is not successful because he got money from his parents.. give this man credit and stop being a hater
Nothing wrong with taking advantage of a situation.
He says he borrowed his dads truck and bought a 2k trailer which he most likely saved from his previous job. Anything after that was from money he earned I gathered. He explained it all in the video but people are too quick to judge rather than learn something from him. Take the family part out. Regardless it all starts with saving. If you can’t save money, you have nothing to start up anything with. You will always be broke/living paycheck to paycheck.
Wholesaling is buying the contract then selling contract for more to another.
Solid podcast Thank you Ryan
You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Such an interesting podcast!
Thanks, I thought so too!

Yea that way barely works
It would never help doing it that way
Chump change only
