So from what I’ve gathered from the comments of these videos…. 1. Alucard WANTS a human to kill him. That does NOT mean that ONLY a human can kill him. 2. Alucard may have used Level Zero at an inopportune time in this battle, but these battles are only representations of their research, not a true “how it would go” example. They clarified this before. 3. It was mentioned in the video, but it bears repeating: even with Schrodinger, Alucard CANNOT keep up with Dio’s raw stats. The cat boy doesn’t help with offensive power whatsoever and would stalemate the battle at best. Maybe they could have clarified that, for all intents and purposes, even if Alucard came back from nonexistence Dio wins through technicality, similar to what some complained about in Broly vs Hulk. 4: Alucard can utilize hypnosis, but this does not confirm he can resist hypnosis, even if classic vampires can (to my knowledge, there’s no confirmation). Nothing of the sort has been said about Dio either, who also uses hypnosis, so it’s a moot point. 5: Even if Dio’s raw strength and speed is scaled down, it CANNOT be dismissed that his own body took hits from Star Platinum, which is what those stats are scaled too. Even if they got the stats thing wrong, Dio would still have a defense that Alucard’s offense can’t compete against, and regeneration unaffected by the bullets to boot. And the Stand can still move way faster anyways. 6: Apparently people were biased towards Alucard because of Hellsing abridged? It’s fun and all, but basing all your knowledge off of a fandub seems a bit ingenuous, even if a lot of care was out into it. And these are the things I have found in my foray of reading UA-cam comments. I can probably find more things…
This is literally what I’ve been trying to explain too people. Just because Alucard has Schrodinger, it doesn’t mean he wins. He still has no way to actually get past The World or Dio’s vampire advantages. In fact, I’m reasonably sure an argument could be made that Schrodinger can’t exist outside of time, since comprehending yourself into such a state wouldn’t exactly be easy, so I could be said that Time Stop would still effect him then. Also, you missed one other point people love saying, which is Alucard waiting for the sun. Which i don’t understand why people think thats a valid argument considering Dio has the ability to STOP TIME. He has plenty of means to run away and hide if he needs too.
you shoulda seen the guy that tried to argue that Alucard's bullets (specifically from the Jackal) should've stopped DIO's healing even though its very clearly presented that Jackal is just a stronger gun designed to put down Anderson and how it did that was through raw damage to overtax his healing factor. this obviously wouldn't work on DIO but the guy kept saying that the bullets stop all kinds of regeneration
@@Crazieyboy15 I've been having a lot of the same conversations and at the end of the day it boils down to one simple fact. Alucard cannot do anything about The World. Because Alucard cannot interact with, overpower, nullify, or circumvent The World at all there is literally nothing Alucard can do that even begin to remotely threaten Dio (and this isn't even taking into account Dio's other advantages and strengths, this is just taking into context The World itself). Purely based on the power of The World alone Alucard loses this match-up, and there is no reasonable argument that can be made to the contrary.
As per said rules, if both have hypnosis it wouldn't be a deciding factor. It would only lean towards the "sometimes X would win" argument, which isn't substantial. I'm a big fan of both series, and I feel DB made the right call.
Can we just acknowledge the freaking voice acting man Taka was phenomenal as Alucard and DIO was legit just as good, if not better than the official dub voice for him! That Wry was freaking godlike
Despite the popularity of Dio, a lot of people were fucked up by the death of Alucard. And they were just in shock. Thank you for the video, great reaction
Basically from what we all got, it was said for the longest time Dio was actually at the losing end by a massive stomp So seeing his victory shocked us and made us very happy bois
Basically Hellsing fans had convinced everyone for year's that Alucard was stronger then he actually was, even themselves after awhile by constantly repeating it that everyone began to believe it.
Actually they clearly too away a lot from alucard, and gave dio the awareness that alucard would have high regenerative abilities, jotaro made dio think he was dead, in certain alucard would win via outsmarting dio, and lastly most of the reasons kenshiro beat jotaro would work in alucard a favor aside from power standpoint
You need to remember that Jonathan faced a weaker Dio who had a weaker body and on top of that had sunlight hax which was Dio’s specific weakness I dunno how you forget, also Dio didn’t have his stand back then but yea you also forgot that he didn’t even have time stop until he got the stand.
I think the main thing people aren’t getting is that dio literally heals off of blood. Him using level 0 and giving him a wave of blood literally made him stronger. He gave dio a candy spree of blood for free. He hit him with the wave and dio came out stronger as you can clearly see visually (his shirt was gone, in the anime that happened when he drank the blood of Joseph.)
This is true, but more importantly what people fail to recognize is Alucard cannot do anything about The World; and with The World Alucard literally cannot even begin to threaten Dio making any kind of power or strategy moot. Muda indeed.
@@serasvictoria9666 that's what I am saying, why do they think he can consume level 0 blood, alucard can manifest anything in that blood, if he drank it then he would have a Nazi vampire in his stomach
(PART 6 SPOILERS) They do leave out that Father Pucci (the Part 6 antagonist) merely looped the universe's timeline through the beginning, in a way that would make everybody precognizant of their fates. But he was killed before he could fully complete the loop, which seemed to "refresh" the timeline in a way that, in some way, undoes Pucci's very existence - which means his subjugation of the Joestar bloodline was retconned, as we see with the presence of Irene (the new Jolyne Kujo). You could say Part 6 ultimately marks the end of DIO's influence. (BTW, it was confirmed that Parts 7 and 8 are set in a completely different reality altogether, not even in the reset universe at Part 6's end.)
Not to mention how DIO is part 7.... twice. Also, if I recall, DIO still has the one way to be resurrected, but I don't think it would ever happen as it is very specific to what needs to happen to bring him back.
Yup. Basically, Jolyne and Jotaro did die, but in the new timeline the Part 6 gang actually gets to meet up and live normally. (Though even if the timeline didn't reset, Giorno and Josuke were still out there, so the Joestar lineage wasn't quite dead yet - just their most prominent members. Joseph was still technically alive but I doubt he had long left to live at this point.)
@@grandwarriorwaluigi1284 does RTZ make the opponent stunned or did Diavolo just be an idiot and believed his epitaph is always correct so he didn't move? Because if it doesn't then I think it won't matter as Pucci speed would make em just run around until the universe reset
@@noahhill895 the Hanged Man is explicitly faster than Silver Chariot, that is literally the whole point of the whole arc. Silver Chariot couldn't land a single hit on him until he forced him down a specific trajectory which he could intercept. In the very same arc, Silver Chariot fails to cut The Emperor's bullets, which are way, way slower than light. We see in a later arc when Hol Horse teams up with Boingo that The Emperor's bullets take several minutes to travel through the air and back down into Hol Horse's face. If they were FTL that would literally take less than an instant. Star Platinum is literally outsped by a guy who's as fast as a bullet train, and ultimately gets killed by him. Even if you wanna argue that Pucci has gotten much much faster than a train by that point, he's still not FTL. If he was FTL then the clouds and waves would be moving so fast you couldn't even see them, because his stand speeds up the whole world at the same time.
@@galarstar052 ohh I see. I find scaling some of these things confusing cos of anime shenanigans. Like hol horse bullets can weave chariots attack, but later avdol is able to tackle polnareff out of the way AFTER the shot has been fired. These things can be so inconsistent at times
@@huntermathias5353 Considering Dante is also WAY faster than light, has like Universal+ attack power in base, has instant regen in base that surpasses Alucard's regen, Pandora alone having 666 forms with the 666th one:omen capable of killing empty demon possessed armor which implies that it can damage souls AND the amount of hax he has, I would say Dante stomps and he doesn't even need to kill Alucard and can just seal him with jackpot.
@@AhmedAhmed-ii4pe as much as I love DMC I kinda doubt he is faster then speed of light and He can't regenerating decapitation like Alu He may have shit ton of weapons but Alu is someone who survived when he was blown to bits and he is fast enough to avoid lethal weapons how he Doged Dandy man's cards. But speaking of speed Vergil is definitely faster. If anyone of them won against Alu I would still be happy cuz I love em and Alu equally. I just don't like Dio
I personally would have loved Alucard to have won that fight but I cannot argue with the numbers and statistics however, talking about how Jonathan joestar kicked Dios as is not accurate on his ability, hamone is literally a direct counter to vampirism jojos and when applied correctly literally puts you head and shoulders above vampiric opponents whitch means that every time diol was in a fight with a homone user he had to find a way to work around them and could not directly confront him the problem with the fight against Alucard is Alucard literally has no way of applying direct damage to dio that he can't either get out of the way up or just straight-up face tank and dio will deal a crap ton of physical Force with his laser eyes and the freezing thing as was mentioned by Death Battle it's sad but true unfortunately
As for the next one, I imagine it all hinges on whether or not Akuma can land his most effective weapon against someone like Shao Kahn: the Shun Goku Satsu.
Eh, I watched the fight on RoosterTeeth First, and it was really fun. Don't mind the outcome, even if I don't fully agree with their reasoning, and some slight misconceptions I think they may have had about Alucard's abilities regarding Schrodinger(for example, in the fights with both Anderson and Walter, he's seen using multiple powers that they claim he wouldn't have if he had Schrodinger inside him, despite him being in Level Zero at that point, and in the fight with Walter, he's lost his familiars, and thus their powers, but still able to use most of his skills, he shapeshifts, casts illusions, I'm pretty sure he walks on a wall etc..., so he clearly still has access to most of his powers despite having lost his familiars, so he should still have them with Schrodinger, his healing factor isn't as broken, and he can actually be killed in level Zero, he can just never get 3,000,000 souls inside him again, not he that he needs to anymore. while he can't absorb anymore people's souls, the only abilities he doesn't have are those he's taken from other people, but most of his vampiric abilities should be available to him and I very much doubt Alucard or Dio could hypnotize the other considering they both have the ability and Alucard has telepathic and telekinetic abilities that should help resist an ability like that, and if Alucard made any wounds fast enough, it's likely he could pull out some of Dio's blood. So while I understand how they came to the conclusion on who would win, I don't fully agree with their post episode explanation, though I was hoping Alucard would win.) but still a great episode regardless. I love both these characters, so I'm just happy to see them in a death battle and hope that one day, they both get to be in another against someone else. In my opinion, 7-8/10. But if DIO really was so much faster than light as they said, he'd never need to hide from the sun as the light itself would be slower than an ant, carrying a snail, carrying a turtle through tar mixed with molasses as seen in a slow motion at . 25 speed
Honestly, the whole “faster than light speed” thing literally doesn’t matter at all to the series creator, Hirohiko Araki. He bases powers on 1. What works well for the character, and 2. What seems fun and cool. He’s literally never once cared about power scaling in the slightest. For a great example of this, just look at Fugo from Part 5. His Stand ability is perfectly in tune with his character, has a really cool and interesting design and ability, and just so happens to be a one hit kill on pretty much any character in the JoJoverse (except GER and D4CLT, I know). So… eh. Who cares lol
@@JBeezyForever good point but one small problem. Fugo was not kicked out due to him being to powerful if fact in most of the fights his stand would not be too helpful, he was kicked out due to Araki planning on having Fugo betray the team but he was depressed at the time and did not know what it was like being betrayed by a friend so he just removed him instead.
@@JBeezyForever > and just so happens to be a one hit kill on pretty much any character in the JoJoverse (except GER and D4CLT, I know) Well... I don't think so. For example, I think he would struggle against White Album, because White Album can make it so not only the temperature is too high for virus particles to survive, but, when using Gently Weeps, he literally can freeze solid the air containing virus particles. And, in case it fails, his ice suit prevents contact with the virus, and (while Gently Weeps is in play) simply has no holes for the virus to get into. But yes, it is busted, both against friends and against enemies. Which suits his personality greatly.
After this how the hell did jotaro star platinum loose???!?!?!?! Ik fist of the Northstar trust me I do I didn't watch everything honestly but I still don't see how this star Platinum lose... With that speed it didn't matter if he couldn't hurt him that much but Literally think about him consistently stopping time and delivering all of them punches like there's no way that he will stand up to that cuz star Platinum was going toe-to-toe with the world and dio under that steemroller, think about it.... Btw that speed and the fact that he can phase threw him and just rip his heart out, I really don't understand

Also little known fact...kouta hirano was a hentai mangaka before hellsing which basically has Anderson and schrodingers origin stories in hentai form...also hitler screwed a neko and thats how the femboy cat exists
both can regenerate, both can't get tired, but one of them has limited: 3 million lives while the other can spam timestop for 9 seconds (and slowly increases with each use indefinitely). kinda makes sense why dio would win. just a long process. he's got TIME. afterall he waited a century just to fight the joestar family again.
"Dio can hypnotise Alucard, so he can force him to eject schrondinger." Alucard: "Does the fact that I can hypnotise to, and have shown to be super resistant to mind control before mean nothing to you. Also I had to kill millions of souls within me specifically because I am incapable of ejecting Schrodinger."
I haven't simply because of the Anime adaptation coming out on Netflix. I want to watch the anime before I read the manga since typically the manga is so well done.
I will say they give Dio all the power he have in all the seri even if he don't use them or can't use them anymore. And they didn't do it for Alucard? Ok Dio could win even with all the power of Alucard but i think this was not a fair fight with the little nerf they bring to Alucard.
They explained how Alucatd literally CAN'T have every power of his at the same time, and there's not really anything that says DIO can't use his vampiric abilities after part 1 apart from him not using them again (which, in fairness, makes sense since most wouldn't be very useful against other stand users and he already had The World)
They said dios time stop is 11 seconds but the longest time stop was nine seconds when jotaro stopped time dio was able to move for a while just like how jotaro was able to move for a while in dios time stop but wasn't stopping time himself
They actually said it's >11, greater than 11 seconds and this is true. The final time stop he used before dying was 11 seconds long (Jotaro confirmed this himself stating "Dio, it's been 11 seconds, looks like that's your current limit." but it's duration was growing every time he used The World. In short it was growing stronger and stronger the more he used it, in theory Dio would have eventually been able to stop time indefinitely.
@@gorgeouszan the only reason it lasted 11 seconds was bc jotaros time stop how do you think jotaro could move for four seconds in the 11 seconds the first two seconds he was punching the road roller and the other two seconds he stopped time
@@timbobandana There's no need for the mental gymnastics, they literally said in the anime his power was in effect for 11 seconds. That is definitive, not subjective.
I want to point out, the only power allucard loses when he takes in Schrodinger's power is the ability to call souls...they also didn't give him a few of his powerful summons so basically they nerfed him into the ground.
@@fohb7291 sure here's a simple one you can understand. Dio dies multiple times Alucard doesn't. The most impressive thing dio killed was multiple stand user, the most impressive thing Alucard killed basically god. I'm not sure if he took Alexander's soul but if he did, he can summon him and if he can use the Nail again, to become basically a god. (not like the summoning matters because they didn't use it properly anyways) Hell, it's entirely possible they give him Walter's soul too...but you know, the whole summoning impressive souls is a bit to overpowered, can't be doing that.
This is a point that I feel that I should mention here going over alucard's specs I know he wasn't moving the aircraft carrier very fast but he still moving a boat that weighs over 1100,000 tons with his mind so that tells me he's still stronger than Dio now I'll grant them that the fact that do is moving faster now card but scaling is silver Chariot is actually incorrect to do here even the stand user can't see the speed of light and to assume d okay I just because he updated it and also to compare it to Star Platinum but that still means that they are still moving at speed of light not beyond the speed of light. I know these are two completely different animes but let's look at the anime fire force the main character of fire force can go as fast the speed of light by reducing his body to atoms and he still conscious when he does this but even the stand user said that he has to know specific vectors to be able to block them
The other thing I think that death battle screwed up on in this particular one I would need them to compare how fast alucard could regenerate before releasing level zero and after because to me both of those forms seem like that they regenerate at the same level of speed or at least I haven't noticed a significant difference no grant you that the weak spot is there but that being said though it's just ridiculous in my opinion that they gave Dio the win no I'm not saying it's not out of the realm of possibilities but I believe that alucard should have been given the win here they should not have scaled freaking dio stand to an extreme degree
@@chanceo4999 I am guessing you have never seen or read anything about JJBA, the world, which is MFTL+ (massively faster than light plus) has a punch force of 480 000 000 000 newtons, (24 nuclear explosions) keep in mind, that's a single punch from the world. As I mentioned earlier, the world is MFTL+, which means he can punch about 54 times per second in his barrage, he can also stop time, a lot, also he was able to throw and carry heavy vehicles, also the world is about the same strength as star platinum, which is able to throw a giant tower extremely fast and high.
Im sorry but Dio's stand being that fast doesn't mean Dio's that fast... like even they showed zombies landing bites. Alucard can devour his soul and take his power... like Dio just isn't that strong...

I rlly wanted DIO to win, but based on things I heard about Alucard, I realized that this death battle makes no sense. I heard Alucard is immortal and wouldn’t use Level 0 the way he did.
I think the point was that it didn’t matter either way. Alucard had no way to get past The Word and Time Stop. So it literally cane down to a question of how long the process of killing Alucard would be.
He isn't immortal, and even if he didn't use Level 0 early he would still lose. Alucard cannot contend with The World and because of this there is literally nothing Alucard can do to beat The World or survive against Dio there is literally no strategy or power Alucard can take that would matter.

@@thewidowskiss7675 Oh okay sorry about the first part. But yeah non-overheaven Dio vs shrodenger would likely end with dio getting tired and running away and hiding until he does the heaven plan and kills everyone who doesnt bow down to him. Imo we should remove shrodenger from the equation because its technically not his power
i disagree with the outcome of the battle. Alucard should have had this easy. He's a vampire that kills vampires and he's alive longer as dio. As for their explanation why dio won. They compared dios stand attack speed against alucards speed not dios speed. As for the hyptnitizing alucard.. he can also hypnotize with a glance so that makes is even. Also, if alucard wouldn't use restriction zero, he would have won, because that oppened up the possibility for dio to kill him. Killing him 3 milion times takes time tho.
>he’s a vampire that kills vampires and is alive longer as dio. Doesn’t explain why he’d win. Especially since Dio has the Durability to withstand alucards attacks, and any damage Alucard did do could be healed off. Especially since Dio can just drink Blood to heal. The lore of one character does not matter in a vs battle. >They compared Dios stand attack to Alucards speed not dio’s Dio has reacted to stand rushes and other stands so could easily react to alucard. Even if dio was theoretically out marched in speed Za worlds speed would still be impossible for Alucard to overcome. Since it’s a difference of millions of times. >Itd take time to kill alucard 3 million times Yes but even then Dio could do it. because Alucard lacks the fire power to Kill Dio and lacks the speed to get passed the world and Dio’s time stop.
Not to forget that, technically speaking, DIO isn't a Vampire like Alucard but a Human without human's limitations, meaning that holy weaponly is not different to him that normal guns, making those basically *U S E L E S S*

(PART 6 SPOILERS)
They do leave out that Father Pucci (the Part 6 antagonist) merely looped the universe's timeline through the beginning, in a way that would make everybody precognizant of their fates.

We see in a later arc when Hol Horse teams up with Boingo that The Emperor's bullets take several minutes to travel through the air and back down into Hol Horse's face. As for the next one,
I imagine it all hinges on whether or not Akuma can land his most effective weapon against someone like Shao Kahn: the Shun Goku Satsu.
It depends on if that works honestly
Akuma rarely wins fights in his own continuity there’s no way he would beat shao khan
Walter wasn't Human he was a Vampire.
Oh yeah, I forgot they did that to him at the end, but they also stated that he was ridiculously good at killing vampires when he was young.
Alucard: I am the ruler of all Vampires, even you DIO
DIO: What is a king to a God?
When the whole world is covered by light, just because you're faster than it doesn't mean that you'll dodge it if it's surrounding you
@@JBeezyForever > and just so happens to be a one hit kill on pretty much any character in the JoJoverse (except GER and D4CLT, I know)
Well...
