- Revival version from 1990 with Eddy Grant, the original is from 1968. This just makes me smile and takes me back to a time a was peeling Tulip-bulbs in a barn with the whole day the radio on with a lot of popular music, amongst them for sure this song, enjoy!

this was a live performance in the netherlands 1990.goud van oud veronica television .i was also there with friend and brother.good old memories!!
The song was originally released in 1966 and was re-issued in 1968. Great memories from those days.

The singer´s name is DERV GORDON - he´s still on tour with THE EQUALS.
Eddy Grant is not in this video, he left the band years ago for his solo career.

Sorry to inform you in this revival performance of "New productions" are Derv Gordon (lead singer as always), Patrick Lloyd, and David Martin (guitars) and RonnieTelemaque (drums). Eddy Grant and his guitar are not with the group here.
Plus Frankie Hepburn on guitar.
Also Derv's brother Lincoln Gordon seems to have left the group...
If you have a better video showing Eddy, please advise.
I know Eddy formed the group in 1965 and is credited with this hit.
I thought it was him on the guitar to left of lead singer.
