Nice bike but those handle bars are just too much. Love all your videos and it's nice that you and your wife make them together. You guys are awesome!😎
This gives me hope. I have a 2003 Heritage that I have not started in four years. Based on this video, I think drain the tank and put fresh gas (fuel injected) in, drop a new battery in and fire her up... If that works, go for a five minute ride and change the rest of the fluids.... Next will be new tires!
You should never try to start a bike that has sat yrs without FIRST draining the old gas and adding fresh- this goes for anything mechanical. Trying to start anything with old gas is asking for carburetor problems that can be avoided. Mine sat 2 yrs, but I drained the gas and added fresh and it fired right up.
Yes I was like what is this guy doing and they way he removed the carb was cringe worthy I know he's done some work on bikes before but dang he should watch some UA-cam videos before doing that again lol
Unfortunately a lot of people don't no how maintain their bike and thats why they get gummed up today's crappy fuels don't last long thats why they have fuel stabilizers and battery tenders it's all about maintenance plain and simple
Makuni carbs suck, I would tape a nickel to it and throw it away so I would feel like I lost something of value. But just my personal opinion and bad experiences with Makuni.
2 yrs is nothin, but it’s dumb to try and start anything on old gas. The fact that you would even try to start it with old gas tells me your not the guy to get this thing running. You should know that’s a No No.
I just ran across your Channel,I am an Old Harley Fan. But I am now Blind so listening to all the sounds brings back Good memories. Thanks.
I like to hear and see what it sounds like once it’s all done. Take care😎👍
I love and look forward to your videos!! I wish I could afford to do what you do and save Harley’s and get them back on the road!!
Got to do the same on my 90 XL.
Been down for 3 years. Thanks for this video. Good stuff!
I like your channel alot, excellent 👍.
Sweet bike and you can’t beat that sound
Great looking bike. Sounds sweet too!
Sweet Bike My Man, 🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾
It runs. Sounds pretty good too.
Good ol mikuni carb.
That bike sounds so good. Makes me wish my m8 sounded like that
have you work on any indian vintages series ???
Sweet bike I like that and I’m not a huge fan of white bikes but that’s bad ass what size hangers on it and can t go wrong with a evo
Nice bike but those handle bars are just too much. Love all your videos and it's nice that you and your wife make them together. You guys are awesome!😎
This is the second video i have seen from you. Remove the plugs and put a small amount of oil down the bore to prevent a dry start
Great job and video 👍👍🇨🇱
About to do the same with an 04 heritage. Hopefully it will go this easy. Fuel injected though no carb.
I wanna know what pipes are those

Raise idle then 1/2 turn out on main jet my opinion needs more fuel. Beautiful bike bro
That has the same tank stickers as my 01
beautiful bike stunning but those handlbars sorry .love your vids
Cool bike those ape hangers are awesome
Hi new to your channel do you sell any of the bikes you rebuild
Do you have to spray some lube in cylinders so you don't mess up cylinders
What pipes are on that bike???
What happened to his rear fender? Beautiful Heritage.
Oh. That must be a custom set of turn signals, huh? Very cool.
Did you have to clean the k&n air filter. Great video
He should have
Great bike, just not a fan of those huge ass bars
Michael Mitchell agreed, different strokes for different folks I guess.
I have a question for you. Would you happen to have a set of fairing gauges that will work in a aftermarket fairing?

So our buddy had already cranked it and tried riding before bringing it to us. What was done was already done at that point. 👌🏼
Did y’all miss where he drained everything out of the tank first???? Or no????
I have watched 2 video of your an i have never seen you check the oil first before trying to start a bike
Love watching your videos!
Only complaint: Some of the links in the description to parts you use don't work.
Where are you located? I'm in Delaware
What size are those bars??? 🏆
I'm going to say 18s... I have a 08 deluxe with 18s and they look about the same
Look like 30s!! 🤣😂
18's
2 years that's nothing I brought a 95 Fatboy back to life that had been parked in a garage for 20 years and not started
Amazing
Dam. She's cold
Currently i was still working on my caburator my bike wasnt idling
I personally think the first order o business is to replace those stupid looking ape hangers.
Unfortunately a lot of people don't no how maintain their bike and thats why they get gummed up today's crappy fuels don't last long thats why they have fuel stabilizers and battery tenders it's all about maintenance plain and simple
wheres part 2
Where are you located?
Georgia
Done correctly, there’s a lot more that needs to be done in a bike like that before starting. Just saying.
Ok
When I started riding bars like that we're probable cause for the police pull you over and give you a ration of s*** over them.
Makuni carbs suck, I would tape a nickel to it and throw it away so I would feel like I lost something of value. But just my personal opinion and bad experiences with Makuni.
Jesus Christ. Raise idle at least half turn, also engine runs lean
👍👏👏✌
Good video if you want to know what to do bad video if you wanna learn how to do, it really didn’t show you on how to do it
Sitting for 2 years?😫 WHY?
Ain't no way in hades I could let that sit for 2 weeks much less 2 years.
Battery charger still connected. Gas vapor in the garage. Geez
Good way to become a statistic.
LMFAO!
he,s not that good.😅
Did everyone who watched this learn anything about using ethanol gas? Don't do it!!!
Tru but most people don't have a choice and there just putting more and more in the gas all the time
all that did not happen just over two years...the bike has been neglected for some time...the bike should have started even with the old gas....
This is the exact reason why I got rid of my Evo and bought a fuel injected twin cam. F that crap 😄
2 yrs is nothin, but it’s dumb to try and start anything on old gas. The fact that you would even try to start it with old gas tells me your not the guy to get this thing running. You should know that’s a No No.
Running and on the road big dog!
what do you do with this motorcycle, everything needs to be adjusted. You still have to study. The movie is ok. Regards.
My 1987 sporty evo fired right up on choke 2 year old fuel
