If I saw these guys live today it would complete my adulthood...I saw smashing pumpkins reunion tour with James jimmy and billy and this would finish up the reunion of my favorite bands to my life

So strange their XEB's singer is named John Stephens. Seems almost karmic that they get to relive their glory.

I wish Jenkins would have not been successfully persuaded to accept the deal to exclusively own the rights to the band so we could enjoy what could have been with a guitarist that is just as good as him. And he screwed everyone in the band as well. The original lineup could have done more. Corporate greed allowed Jenkins to screw them all.

This whole XEB thing is rather sad. They have a guy who is doing his best Jenkins impersonation--but they have to distort the sound of his voice because it sucks balls. The music is great, but it's like they can't do anything aside from play old 3EB songs. It's like watching some old, broken-down has-been talk about how he could have made it in the pros if it weren't for his bum knee.
We get it. We really do. You guys were great. Third Eye Blind is not and has not been the same since Blue. Ursa Major was not very good. Dopamine is only a little better. Out of the Vein was actually quite good, but not as good as Blue (which was great aside from Jenkins' vocals on Red Summer Sun--yikes). However, you guys need Jenkins just as much as he needed you. Enough of the whining. It's been like 16 years.
