I think I prefer rotobrush as it offers more control over the selection and it's lighter to process. Mask prompter kept eating all of the vram it could find😂
having alot of trouble with this , the plugin isn't doing anything , i make a mask and select path one but nothing happens. ive updated the plugin and reset as well as uninstall.
I haven't used the plugin in a long while so I can't confirm this, but last time I did everything worked fine
This video is the best but I just So, I got this elephant passing through the scene. I don't see how you remove subjects that appear later. When you have subject that cannot be selected because it's not entirely in view and then other elephants show up.
You could split the video at the point when the subject appears, then apply the mask prompter to the split layer, then keyframe the center to target the subject

What if mask prompter misses part of the background. I can still see something left over under an arm.
If it misses a part you can add another mask or a point to a certain area

Depends on the frame rate, how big is the area to rotoscope, pc specs
working okaish but it has big problems with shadows. and i can't manually add anything to the selection can i?
Beat you can do is adjust the mask to target certain areas
I am getting an error after installing and opening the plugin, the error message appears: before quitting, you have one chance to save your project. After that, I did as requested and opened the saved file again, but the computer reported an error again: After Effects can't continue: Mask Prompter plug-in generated an unexpected exception. Please help me fix this error, Thank You!
It seems like the plugin is crashing after effects, might be related to not enough ram available

It's most likely an issue caused by low ram amount
are you using ae 2023 cant i use it on ae 2020?
I'm using 2023 yes, not sure about older versions, it should work fine I guess
After Effects crashes with the plugin and the mask. Doesn't work just blowing their own trumpet loud.
Honestly it does take up a lot resources and causes the crashes that way
it is wayyyyy too heavy, that's the only concerning fact sadly. not all of us have monster PC! thanks for the good work!
