the psa 10 prices reek of fraud. i dont see any normal collectors paying those prices. what a joke the price diff psa 10 vs 9 when the cards look basically identical
The disparity is indeed crazy. You're paying for someone's opinion after all. However, the hobby appeals to people with disposable income who want the 'best' copy of a card. Disposable income x OCD = PSA 10 prices
That Jordan signed hoops card is strange. Shouldn't it say authentic auto? It just says authentic. What are the odds that it's a fake signature and they just had the card graded authentic?
"Authentic" refers to the card and "PSA DNA Cert" in the bottom left means the autograph passed authentication. PSA won't slab a counterfeit autograph even if the card is real, at least not knowingly.
I think it's pretty obvious that someone out there is trying to either complete an 87 Fleer Basketball master set, or someone is trying to artificially inflate the prices of 87 Fleer because they are sitting on a bunch of it.
Just two comments so far, so let me go ahead and add one. I have a George Bush Commander In Chief Desert Storm card in my complete set from the 90s that isn't worth a penny. Why did that Score card sell for 15K? My Desert Storm cards are way cooler. Considering grading some of my nonsports cards in 2025. I enjoyed your nonsports cards video and look forward to more like it. Have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year everyone!
This was a Topps one that is extremely rare. Like 150 total copies between the base and the glossy version. Merry Christmas and happy new year. New Nonsports videos coming soon. 1 decade video a month + 1 individual
I just like to see the common junk wax basketball player is going to be. And we have a winner. James Donaldson. Wait...who the F is that guy? Apparently he did make one all-star team, so I guess, it was worth it? Lol.
I have that George Bush card. Not sure if it’s sports or other. I collect cards of fathers and sons, mostly in baseball. I picked up this card and found one of George the younger throwing out the first pitch after 9-11. Thx for sharing.
I have the Jeter SP rookie in a BGS 9 & The Rock 1994 Miami football card in a PSA 10.......
They have gone down in price but still great cards

Correct and people want sets or the highest grade of a single card

@@peterchoe I looked up the cert number and it said everything is authentic on the card, the card and the auto
ngl who in tf had starting line up, it's one of those off brand sets in the late 80s, crazy it survived (which reflects in its price)
Makes sense why it’s heds
Great stuff
Thanks

I think there are some set builders out there

It's always interesting to see what these cards are doing.
