Just bought the Pro X headset. Does anyone else's mic make a loud "BLIP" noise when you activate the mute switch? It's really annoying to the other person I'm having a conversation with online
Instantly purchased the G Pro X once you mentioned sidetone. I can't stand any headset without it, and the windows setting work around just doesn't do it for me. Thanks for the information.
Update: the DAC on the Pro X was not to my liking. The sidetone for this headset was nowhere near as good as the numerous G430s I had. After a few hours of trying to like it, I plugged my Pro X into the G430 DAC and the sidetone was so much better. The pro x sidetone just sounds extremely weird, muffled, and robot-y. I tried many different settings, but I really couldn't find anything to work well. It would seem to me like the best way to go is to get your own hardware DACs/mixers and do it that way. The build quality on these headphones are decent though, and I imagine they won't break after a year of use like all my G430s had in the past.
Would the g pro x be a good option for a kinda all round use? I have Xbox, PC and plenty of portable devices to plug in the audio jack into. I like the design and look of it so I wouldn't feel weird wearing it outside without the mic but would it. Does it seem worth it? Also is it pretty good for music?
All around they'd be pretty good. I'm a little picky with my headphones for music and I find these have a habit of getting a bit muddy when you throw a lot at them in a song. But if music is secondary and you'll mostly be using them for gaming, they'll be great.
As strictly a console gamer jumping between Playstation to Xbox are Logitech worth the extra money? Since on console you don't have the option to play around with the software. Or is Cloud 2 much the same quality on console? Thanks for any answers!

Alright so to my understanding, they're both *really* good? I'll go for the G Pro X then, to complete my Logitech setup. They're also sold for only 89€ and the Cloud 2's are sold for 99. No big difference, but still.
So, I've used razer kraken 7.1 pro for the past 3 years, and decided to go to the cloud 2, especially for gaming purposes. To be honest, I was really disappointed. In terms of mic quality, it's actually really good, even better than the razer kraken 7.1, but the sound... oh, boy. If you decide to plug the USB dongle, it's just HORRIBLE ingame. As a casual fortnite player, the sounds of footstep and directions was so awful to hear. Then, I decided to use straight to my motherboard, which it's now a lot better. The problem is the length of the cable without the USB dongle... too short. Also, as Detroit Tech mentioned in the video, there is no software for the cloud 2, simply plug and play. Indeed it's easy, but I really miss a software to set everything up as I wish, especially for gaming. Anyway, I'm really considering selling this cloud 2 and getting myself a Logitech G Pro X.

I cant really decide between a sale the hyper x cloud II again for 55€(!) in germany atm or upgrade to a logitech g pro x. Did you buy it? If yes, can you recommend it?
@@bhop2303 55 euro in which shop?
@@bhop2303 you can buy brainwavz replacement pads for the clouds.
MB Q i know but it was on sale in Germany for 50€ and the replacements cost 14€ for me with shipping ....

do you think i could achieve masking or getting rid of AC noise with Blue Voice? i've heard from the people i play with that it can get pretty annoying so i have been considering the g pro x but to me its in a price range where i need to be sure before committing >< thank you and great video.
I don't think the EQ is quite surgical enough for that. There are some other software EQs that can be gotten for cheap or free that would do a better job. But it is one more step.
@@DetroitTech thank you =)
Cover to the microphone port? i didn't get that in mine o.o
The pro on the logitech is that it has a EQ right when the hypers do not ?
Basically yeah. That and the Blue Voice thing where you can adjust how your own voice sounds. It's okay
I got the g pro x headset this monday... it sounds really good compared to what I had before and the eq tunning in the software seems really awesome... and the mic... i didnt know it sounded so good, I only tested it a bit and didn't really know how to feel about it... when i get more time ill play around more with the settings lol
How is it on listening for music? I mainly listen to EDM if that matters... from what I know the mic is superb tho but they say that the surround is crap?
(I hope it's tweakable in the EQ tho)
@@karlivanr Well, it's a gaming headset so it won't be the best for listening to mjaic as the sound is inaccurate. The Corsair H560 is probably the best sounding budget gaming headset out there.
after 2 months , what do you think about g pro x ? still good ? the mic?
@@karlivanr the sound is good for listening to music... im mostly a dubstep guy... i listen stuff like excision... and I do have a good sounding wireless headset and to be frank I don't see the difference... it actually feels like the g pro xes have better sound mostly from the better and larger cushions... and the software lets for a lot of tweaking so yeah... its good from those aspects
@@Elalia. still awesome... havent had time to use the mic tho... but from my little recording tests it sounds quite good... even tho my voice is nowhere near how I perceive it to be... I sound like I'm actually 18 lmfao
Should i buy cloud alpha or cloud 2 or g pro not x but 2nd gen for about 90? I need that good sound imaging for rainbow six siege. Thanks
I got logitech mouse and keyboard, basiacly a fan of them and love their products. I had bough 2 hyperx cloud since liked the headeset aswell because of usage. My last one recently lost sound on 1 ear. Waranty on those are like 2 years from my experience. I might go all out and just buy Logitech since its never failed me i believe lol. Hope it worth it, also sidetone is nice since wont hear outside noise. If the sound is better than hyper and the durability is good i probably buy it.
Is the bass good when listening to music with the Logitech g pro x?
Be careful with the Logitech. They’ve got a known fault which causes the right driver to die after normal use. Mileage varies but mine lasted about 8 months before it died, and i look after my equipment. Just somthing to be aware of.
just ordered the g pro x headset. Hope it's gonna be good!
was it good? im bouta get a pc, any tips on peripherals??
thanks for the review I'm gonna order the Logitech headset now its crazy that its better then some other headsets out there while sitting at a lower price
Just bought the Pro X headset. Does anyone else's mic make a loud "BLIP" noise when you activate the mute switch? It's really annoying to the other person I'm having a conversation with online
Which is better cloud 2 or cloud mix please for competitive games
which one should i get? which will last longer still having good qualities
What gameplay was in the video?
Do you need to play on PC to get the advantage of the the settings from the LogiTech software...? I'm on PlayStation
yea man
yes
Which buy I am csgo and valorant player suroond and sound quality whichhh ?
Get the G Pro X Headset, the mic and sound quality is better, which is overall optimal for csgo and valorant
@@DetroitTech I've been using Jabra elite 65t and beats solo hd so it should be better audio quality than what I've had before 😂
As strictly a console gamer jumping between Playstation to Xbox are Logitech worth the extra money? Since on console you don't have the option to play around with the software. Or is Cloud 2 much the same quality on console? Thanks for any answers!
Ive got G Pro X Lightspeed, mic is mich worse than wired version, but its not big deal for me. Sound is simillar to wired ones for me, and 13m range is nuts
That because wireless version dont have sound card
I am thinking of buying the Logitech g pro x or the hyperx cloud alpha s which headset has the best background cancellation for the microphone like typing on a keyboard
www.rtings.com/headphones/tools/compare/logitech-g-pro-x-vs-hyperx-cloud-alph
Definitely, the Hyperx Cloud Alpha S.
Is that the Cloud 2 gunmetal? Looks pretty sick.
Yeah, I own a pair, they're great
I want the gun metal version in the Cloud Alphas but HyperX always keeps the red colour in the Alphas
I have the red edition
Hello guys which one is better for games like call of duty MW and War zone for footsteps and other games to lol, Logitech G pro X or HyperX Cloud Alpha they both good but which one is better? I see a lot of Pc players use both so I don't know which to go with? and Why? also which one would be more likely picking up noises from environment (i.e. fan noises)
G pro or razer nari wirreless i have a razer mouse and keyboard they are good but i think for headsets the mics are not worth for what your paying any thoughts?
Unfortunately I haven't had any experience with any Razer headsets yet. The idea of wireless does sound nice, though.
i just ordered the normal g pros i heard they are same except the mic.
I bought myself hyperx cloud alpha s, but the sound sounded artificial, I gave it back, do you think logitech g prox would be the same problem?
Tons of different profiles to pick from, plus community profiles. I have an audiophile friend who verified that it sounds good (via facebook audio) on one of the many built in presets.
Alright so to my understanding, they're both *really* good? I'll go for the G Pro X then, to complete my Logitech setup. They're also sold for only 89€ and the Cloud 2's are sold for 99. No big difference, but still.
I have sony xm3 use for gaming. Im planning to buy this hyperx cloud 2. Is there any difference? Can someone help me?
I have the g pro x and you can hear footsteps clearly even with usb
Which one have better sound
well i had the hyperx cloud 2 4 days ago till i sent it back cuz the audio is literally Reversed 😂 the logitech g pro 2nd gen Just arrived and im excited hopefully not switched
Just ordered a G Pro X headset.
And?
Which one has better sound quality?
They're both very similar. I think the Logitech pulls ahead for me a bit because the software allows you to EQ them.
I want to get the logitech but idk if it’s great for ps4 competitive gaming please help me out.......
G Pro X is being sold here in the Philippines for $70
where broo??
where?
where?
G pro x all the way boiss, used it for few months now, im very satisfied with it
are these better than cloud alpha......tell me how do they sound on ps4 and also while playing warzone....plzz
would you recommend any of the options or downloadable options for the hearing for games like warzone?

@Pay me or I’ll kill you lol if that's the reason then you are on the wrong topic, cuz the guy asked for performance not assistance
Just bought the pro x will I be able to use the blue voice and settings I have saved on them, if I use for example, messenger voice call on my pc?
Also another question. If I were streaming from my elgato to my switch would I be able to use the header features if plugged into my PC?
I believe you could use the Blue Voice all the time as long as your on your computer. Not sure about streaming via the Switch, though.
Detroit Tech I’ll have to test it, thank you!
Revolver s vs cloud 2
Which one has best audio..?
does the logitech g pro x have clear and flat sound??
I have the g pro x but I must say to anyone who is thinking of buying,I don't know if this is meant to be or just a messed up build but the right speaker of my headphone shutdown and I can't hear anything on the right speaker and have seen alot of people complain about the same issue.
Sold my cloud 2 for g pro x . arrive soon . Good luck for myself :D
tell me how r these....plz....do they sound good on ps4 and also how much good in warzone.

Which one should I choose? Hyperx cloud flight wireless or this?

Do we get this software with the g pro x while using in a smartphone?
As far as I know, you only get to utilize the software while on a PC.
@@DetroitTech so will i be able to use this headset on my oneplus phone?
You should be able to use it via the 3.5mm jack. You just won't get software benefits.
Have a Cloud2 and the earpads wore off so I ordered the Pro X. Long Story short: Sending back Pro X and re-order Cloud 2, sound is so much better!
Can you guys recommend me the best headset for CSGO? $150 budget
You should get Logitech G Pro X Headset if you can, s1mple uses it too
if it's out of your budget, go with the HyperX Cloud II Headset, it's also one of the best ones for CSGO competitive gaming

@@p3nguiin777 Lol, the Logitech G Pro X is a lot less breathable. The pads are less thick and not as comfortable. Also, the Cloud 2s are almost 90 grams lighter (236g vs 320g), so what you claim makes no sense.
