Scales Nthings Actually I think u are wrong :) is that English is considered the "universal language"; the most speaking idiom in the world. So, in Latin American for example is VERY COMMON to be bilingual (I’m from Argentina and I had English for years at school). And if you’re studying a career it’s very valued knowing other languages to get a good job, I think that's why many Spanish people speak English well!
Because so many people speak spanish and english, they dont bother learning/studying other languages. Thats how it works lol.

He lived and studied in the US for a few years, and non-English speaking countries teach languages (english particularly) to kids at a very very young age, hence why so many people from non-english speaking countries can speak such good English.

reg10x it depends on the people tho, they teach you English at school but if you never use it, you will have a mediocre in English. This is why hiring native English speakers in schools is very important imo.

the fact that this show is in Spanish is what makes me love it 5000 times more...Spanish is so beautiful ahhh. Also love their accents so much
At first watching this show it was very hard to keep up with the subtitles. They speak wicked fast. But when there is good drama, impeccable writing and acting you catch up quick and the pause button comes in handy. 100% recommend this and learning Spanish
Ramona Flowers but it has English dub and it’s actually pretty decent (even though I watched it in Spanish :p)

Spanish people speaks super fast, even for me (Mexican) it’s hard to understand a lot of things, I actually turn the subtitles.

You can learn it online on your own. There's so many apps for that, and Duolingo is one of the best but still there's so many other apps out there too

I speak Spanish and still didn’t understand nothing. They speak so fast and so much slang from Spain. Me being Mexican couldn’t keep up with their lingo. I understand Mexican slang or just neutral Spanish. The only slang from Spain I know is “guay” means cool, “Tio” means dude, and “Ostia” I believe means something like saying “oh shit”

That is why I said I do understand Spanish from Spain and I have watched many movie but the slang they use in the show is very different. It's nice to see how english native speakers are opening to other countries productions, as an spanish speaker I can assure you we've been watching american tv shows and films for ages, I still do, so we get use to since we are little to watch with subtitles, you'll get use to it

I hate watching stuff with subtitles. English isn't even my first language but if something is in a language i don't understand then it has to be dubbed otherwise it's too frustrating

Well i am german and watched the series with the original spansish audio and english subtitle. This is the best way for me to learn both languages.
Why a lot of people is complaining about the Spanish language? Is because they speak fast? This show is from SPAIN, the speak faster than a lot of latino americans, only Danna speak slow in the show because she is from Mexico. Miguel is from Spain, he speak with Spanish accent.

@@henhaooahneh I mean obviously we are very differents and of course not all the Spanish speak faster than Latinos, but in the "normal life", the majority of Spanish speak faster. I'm latino american and I live in Spain so I know.
And I'm a Spaniard and I live sorrounded by Spanish speakers from the other side of the "pond". Argentineans, Cubans and Mexicans speak fast as we do, and Colombians, Ecuatorians and Peruvians probably a little bit slower
Mmm. I think it depends. I think it really depends on the person. Maybe it's more noticeable with Spaniards because their accent makes the words all sound like one while in Latin America, the sounds are more sing-songy.
