    I feel like keyboards have reached 'audiophile' levels, but am glad there are channels out there that can explain and compare things that affect sound, like Plates.

    You have one of the only videos that actually explains the FEEL of the different plate materials rather than just the sound. Thank you very much for this! In my opinion, far too many videos these days are focused on the sounds of the boards more than the feel, which should be equally important.

    Hey man , Im new to this hobby. I just bought Keychron V1 (tray) then I just learned about the gasket mount on Q1.
    Im thinking of buying PC plate to use on my V1 but I don't know if I will get the typing experience as the gasket on Q1?
    I have never tried a gasket mounted keyboard and I don't really know how it feels.
    Do you have any opinion on Tray mounted keyboard with PC plate vs gasket mounted keyboard with metal plate?

    Hey man, do you think it's worth to change plate for weight reduction? Thinking about using CF plate for that.

    • @Blacksimon
      @Blacksimon  Рік тому +1

      Assuming you've already reduced as much as possible with a lighter case, and thinner caps. Sure I guess?
      Kinda goes against the spirit of plate changes, since those are done for sound and feel before all else.
      PP/POM and other plastic plates are very light as well, as is FR4, so I suggest you explore those before commiting to a more complicated plate to work with
