+KETTYKISH This is a clip from the 18th disc of the UK (18 disc, Region 2) due South complete collection, and unfortunately it cuts off this abruptly. :-( If anyone of my viewers should find the whole interview, please notify me and I'll link it!
+tangelian Hey cheers for the rapid reply! I'm just NOW getting into the Due South thing (I know, I'm 15 years late..) and am looking for Paul Gross and Callum Keith Rennie clips on YT and found this. Very nice interview. It would be great to see the rest of it. I haven't bought any DS DVDs yet. Is the UK version good? I mean the complete collection? I read something not so nice about the US or Canadian season collection. Seems like either the image quality isn't good or the DVDs don't work properly. :(
KETTYKISH Yes, I'd DEFINITELY recommend the UK 18 disc version if your DVD player can handle Region 2 discs (European standard). Neither of the collections are HD quality though; they need to be digitally remastered and restored for that, and unfortunately I don't think that will happen, ever. :-( And I was late to the party too, but am making up for it! It's such a great series! :-) I also recommend that you join us at the Due South forum, s6.zetaboards.com/Due_South/index/ ! It's a very active forum even these days, and we have livestreams and chats every week. And we love new members! :-D Also, feel free to check out my other vids... lots of Paul Gross in there. :-) Do you have a Twitter account? I'm @daStraycat over there! :-) TYK for commenting, and if there's anything else I can help you with, don't hesitate to ask. :-)
+tangelian Hi, thanks for the info on the UK DVDs! That is good to know. I am in region 2 (Belgium), so that would be perfect. I have seen all season 3 & 4 episodes on YT, except for the very last episode, because I don't want it to end! :) Back then, I knew about the show and knew that I wanted to watch it with the PG & CKR duo (rather than David Marciano). I saw bits of it and so wanted to see it, but all that was possible was to see a French translation and I do NOT do synchronised shows! :D :D So instead of watching it in French, I didn't watch it at all.... But the other day I saw a clip of a CKR movie on YT and started tracking some of his other work on YT and to my surprise found out about his Due South episodes (in the last 15 years I had forgotten, who the actors where in DS) and started watching last week and here I am! :) So it's more CKR who brought me to DS, but I am starting to really appreciate PG and his talent. He sings!!... A man who sings, always wins my heart! :) I will definitely check out the forum!! It is very active now still? Wow! I am on Twitter too, but I keep that for rants on current stuff and politics and 'important' stuff....... :( But I will join the forum and will let you know when I did. I'll keep your Twitter though, just in case I want to join in on the social media fun! :D
+KETTYKISH Yes, all due South actors are very talented! :-) And naturally, you want to see it in the original language. :-) To be honest, I actually like the first three seasons best, so if you haven't seen them, you might be in for a nice surprise. :-) It doesn't really have to do with which Ray you prefer, but in general I think the stories and characters are more well written and a little less flimsy... well, it's still very funny and twisted in a due South way, but generally, there's a more serious undertone which often makes it even more entertaining even in the more light hearted episodes. The DVDs are available via Amazon. :-) I use my Twitter account for a variety of things, not just due South. :-) But I could otherwise recommend you to get a different "all-purpose" account because people post a lot of new on Twitter. Even Paul Gross himself has signed up lately. He's not *that* active, but he really has a great sense of humor and is very smart, so it's fun to follow him. :-) And like I said, very welcome to the forum! We'll be happy to see you there! :-)
I remember watching this episode of fully booked when I was a kid I loved due south!
That jacket Paul Gross wore here is back in fashion.
Классный актер!!! 💕
Great stuff! TYK for the upload!
32 Down on the Robert McKenzie......fantastic song, from a fantastic series
*I have both the albums; **_LOVE_** 'Two Houses', like give the dog a bone okay.*
Thanks for the upload. But was there more to the interview? It seemed to stop very abruptly.
