Those roads around Pt. Bonita lighthouse, west of the Golden Gate Bridge and through Ft. Barry & Ft. Cronkite used to be my back yard. That tunnel that you enjoyed the exhaust sound in, cost a shuttle bus driver a muffler when he ran the rpm up and then shut off the ignition for a moment before turning it back on. The explosion in the exhaust blew the muffler off of the bus! The kids in the bus loved it but his boss wasn't too amused! Those are some really fun roads to drive but the weekend traffic has taken over the whole area in the summer. The road around the lighthouse is only one lane for 3-4 miles. It's fun with no traffic but not during the summer tourist season.
I've been watching all the Bullitt reviews from the San Fran event and so far noone had commented on the seats. Did you like these Recaros? Would you have preferred the standard power seats?
The magna-ride dampers are great until you have to replace them. A lot of people are going to experience some serious sticker shock (pun intended) when these things start leaking and their dealership gives them a quote.
Mike McGlock I'm pretty sure the same idiot drivers will get either the same or even possibly enhanced results. Nothing is foolproof in the hands of a fool.
I've sat in both. On a summer day on a track, I prefer the Recaro seats but if it was my money I'd be hard pressed to pay $1800 CAD to give up heating, cooling and power. The standard seats are supremely comfortable and still well bolstered.

Why do American car manufactures continue to sell cars that have black rims with chrome lug nuts?? I have a 2018 1LE and immediately changed them over to black.
Why do people call wheels "rims"? The rim is just one part of a wheel, spokes and hubs being other parts. To answer your question, though, in this case it's an homage to the wheels on Steve McQueen's car in the namesake movie, which had black wheels with chromed lug nuts.
Because some people confuse "wheel" being both the tire and the rim/wheel. Ok, i see the point on the mustang but not on Hellcats, Camaro's, other Mustangs, etc.

LOL get over it! It's a Standard Ford Mustang GT with a few added parts and a paint job. Not worth the price when you can get better with the Chevy Camaro SS Stock... The Parts are cheaper and add more for less...
It is better than that, but there are better value alternatives, true. I love mine. Causes many more smiles and thumbs up from bystanders than any regular GT ever would. People just dig this thing. This is a big part of this car's appeal. It is meant to bring people to smile.

But in the UK the version we are getting is bloody "emasculated" down on power. But we can get round that 😈

Honest mistake with the gear ratio. As for the fog, it was an early morning in the Bay area with a ton of mist/rain/fog. You have to be really careful with HVAC as the microphone will pick up even the faintest sounds.
Not impressed!! Very overpriced!! It's just really a little more glorified GT. The real collector is the one that Steeda and McQueen racing are doing together. I'll keep my 16 GT convertible. I always get compliments on it and I love it!! No Thanks. Not worth it
They are expensive but to be fair a new Mustang GT optioned up equivalently to the Bullitt has a higher MSRP than a Bullitt. Unless you really hate dark green or black, anyone in the market for a loaded GT Premium PP1 manual would be nuts not to buy the Bullitt, you're getting 20 hp, a broader torque curve and better resale for free.

I just do something a little different to stand out from the crowd. I don't like to have the common colors. Anyone can do that. Plus I like the idea convertible in general. The convertible body is a little different and looks better anyway. I sure wouldn't get rid of my 16 GT convertible and pay more to get the same thing! Its ridiculous!!!! I have more power than the new GT or Bullit and for less. It's a ok car that's about it. Loved the original,that's it. The older ones are better anyway. No thank you. I will keep my '13 GT. Mine is a prettier color, I like the body style better, and I live in an urban area where my automatic transmission is much more convenient.

Test drove one of these. That engine sound was glorious but the car felt boaty, unnecessarily big and 500 pounds too heavy.

Shane Farley can't speak to the Bullitt, but I spent a week In a standard gt and the gas mileage was surprisingly good. Around 13-14l/100km.
It's like a waste, with that much hp for what !! come on show how they test the GT version on the Bullitt
