On this first leg, Nolan maximizes his time in the Delta Sky Club, before testing out Delta's long-haul international premium economy product on DL 290 from LAX to CDG. How's the seat? Will he get enough sleep? Is it worth the extra cost over main cabin?
He also tries out the Sleeper Hold Travel Pillow, a much improved upgrade over the dupe we tried on our way to Kuala Lumpur, but much bulkier than expected.

Did you have real plates and silverware, or were the plates cardboard?
Cardboard plates, but real silverware. All around, I would say literally right in between main cabin and Delta One.
Is a 3 seat configuration or 2 for comfort +??
comfort + is 2-4-2, same as main cabin but with extra legroom. Premium economy is 2-3-2, so wider seats. Hope this helps!

Good point! I do like having my things, especially water, near my seat, but I’m working on a sling setup that should cover that in the future.
