+TCN0101 I used QTGMC and AVISynth to convert it from 60i to 60p, and then upscaled it to 4:3 720p (960x720) so that it would show up as 60p on UA-cam (since UA-cam doesn't support 60p at any lower resolutions).
+Tyler Hanson NTSC standard is 60 fields per second. These fields are encoded into 30 frames per second using interlacing. The correct way to deinterlace VHS/Betamax/DV and any other 30i (also known as 60i) format is to deinterlace it into 60 frames per second. If you want to rip your VHS/DVD/DV/whatever stuff at 60p and don't know how, tell me what software you use, I might be able to provide instructions.
