The baskets need to be age appropriate. If you really want to show love to each of your kids make their baskets to be made with what they like. Way to much sugar and junk. Was this really for the kids or just another video and ego boost for you.

Why give a 4 year old and a 16 year old the same items in their basket. Personalize for each child. With all the sugar they already eat why put more junk in their baskets.

Why would you make these baskets for you kids for Valentine's day in January? 🤦♀️ You can't even wait till Valentine's day. On top of the fact that you just gave them all the same junk you pack in their lunchboxes as a "gift". You couldn't even take the time to personalize the baskets a little. I'm gonna guess they don't all have the same favorite candy/ snacks....way to show so much love your viewers. I mean kids. Way to show love to your kids... 🤦♀️. I feel so bad for these poor kids.

@MadelineSquires, I'm sure you see it as a waste, you probably don't have kids. Giving them a Valentine's Day card, basket, rose, the heart of chocolate, is not a waste it shows the child, teen, or adult you are loved it makes them feel good. My sons are 39 and 30 my daughter is 21 and still looks forward to the Holidays I give them a little something and for my grandson. I love that she makes her kids feel special.❤❤❤❤❤
These children vary in age, why is there no difference between a 2 year old basket and a 17 year olds???

Love these. I do the same for my 3 girls and I write messages on hearts and put the on their bedroom door every day in February until Valentine’s Day with reasons they are loved. Love your videos 💕

I did that for my kids every year as well. I went to the dollar tree. I put in chalk all valentines, pencils, crayons, anything that would do with valentines I did all that or any holiday.

I remember you saying that sugar is not good for them. But all I have seen was so much sugary food. What up with that.

I think in this case many parents, not just her, fall back on food/sugary treats because they are unsure of what else to put in the basket - similar to Easter.
There are so many more fun options that do not revolve around candy/food but they are also not readily available or out in your face.
I did a valentine themed book, a small red or pink blanket, small stuffed animal that said I love you, bubbles/playdoh, homemade card and then 1 special treat for my kids this year :)

I do the same thing every year for my kids and grandkids. I also put a heart with a message on my daughter’s bedroom door one for every day until valentines Day❤️

Do you know what my favourite thing is about Alicia she is a fantastic person and mum of 12 wonderful kids and she treats them all the same no matter if biological or adopt ed and its hard to be mum of 12 I should know I'm a mum of 15 all biological they the same weather it's a birthday present or Xmas present. To some people having biological family and adopted family together may be confusing but to others its normal and Alicia opening her heart and home to the kids biological family is amazing and she deserves praise and I thank God there's people like her in this world to help kids like Alex, jason, Jordan,Patrick,James,dayshaun,nevaeh,bree

I made a valentine's bag for the first time for my 6 yr old niece, found some cute little things at dollar tree and target! I'm sure all the kiddos will love their baskets you made for them!

@@nicolekalasuva9812 the same could be said for go-gurt, danimals, and even juice boxes, but that hasn't stopped teens and adults from enjoying them. I even saw an adult eating those gerber cereal puffs in public the other day and there is a toodler pictured right on the front of the package. At the end of the day it's food, and I doubt the teens cared that much. It probably took them 30 seconds to eat and bonus for not needing to hunt down a spoon to do it.

I have a friend that has had her families prepared for several weeks. She bought items as soon as they started coming out in stores, she was afraid things would sell out if she waited. I love getting things done ahead of time, especially if you're a busy family.
