Air (marketed as Air: Courting a Legend) is a 2023 American biographical sports drama film directed by Ben Affleck and written by Alex Convery. The film stars Matt Damon, Affleck, Jason Bateman, Marlon Wayans, Chris Messina, Chris Tucker and Viola Davis. It is based on true events about the origin of Air Jordan, a basketball shoeline, of which a Nike, Inc. employee seeks to strike a business deal with rookie player Michael Jordan.
Air had its world premiere at South by Southwest on March 18, 2023, and is scheduled to be released in the United States on April 5, 2023, by Amazon Studios, making it the first film Amazon has released in theaters without simultaneously premiering on Prime Video since Late Night (2019).

I LOVED this movie. I'm not a 'comment' person on UA-cam, but I've made this comment on a lot of "Air" reviews. I hadn't been in a theater since i went to see "Mama's House", but I went to see this one. I was totally absorbed. I learned so much I had never even thought about. Michael's mother was the bomb! I wanted to turn around and see it again right away, but it wasn't on my Social Security budget, dang it. Thank you for the review.

What an impressive cast for this film! And two of those I have seen in person back in the early 2000s. I have seen Matt Damon and Ben Affleck at movie premieres. But in 2003 during the PAYCHECK movie premiere, Ben Affleck ran across the street from Mann's Chinese Theater and started hugging fans! I got hugged by Ben Affleck! That was the closest celebrity encounter I ever had! Well, anyways, I will check out this since I have been a fan of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck since seeing them in Good Will Hunting. Also, I grew up as a kid in the 80s so the 80s nostalgia will make me enjoy this film a lot too. Lastly, I loved Argo and have it in 4K in my collection so I know I will love this film too. All in all, great review Brandon! 👍

Wow same score as me and my wife. This is my number 1 right now. I didn’t see creed 3 so I can’t comment on that one. As you said very engaging which I wasn’t sure how they would make it interesting.

He's a very good basketball player and a sub-par actor haha
