You know why i like him? he might not be a worldwide producer or the best one BUT!!! the guy actually guiding people to develop healthy mentality for achieving and getting stuff done! I really support and admire that niche. BIG UP MY GUY!
This is such an underrated video, as an experimental producer I often find myself endlessly scrolling through libraries only to close my computer an hour later because I'm tone deaf. Getting to what you want quicker makes it so much easier to stay in a creative flow. Thank you!
Workflow is so personal, I just have a template with a mixer bus for sidechain, with a bass a synth mixer bus routed to it. That's all I need. Other than that I have no organisation at all, I put everything in the same pattern and my projects, even when they are very complex, do not often go over 30 tracks. This is my preference and everybody has their own way of being productive, you just got to find what best suits you ;)
Ive started following you. I'm completely new to all of this. Thank you for your help. I'll be watching more. I'm trying to be a psytrance producer, so I've picked some of the most complicated sound design out there 🤣 baby steps....
Can someone provide insight on the Plugins and Effects organization trick? Ive edited and deleted things in the folder under documents but it doesnt reflect in my daw
Can you show how to organize the project file and whatever we use inside so we can share our project to other people easily open the project without them needing to have the same plugin? It will help so much if you're always working with other people.
i've done the same thing as you, but i like to go through my customized sample folders again and trim them down to only the best samples again and again. would anybody really need more than 20 or so kicks? unless you're making several different genres. anytime i audition a sample in my collection on the FL browser, if it doesn't evoke a reaction in me or sounds a little off, i'll just delete it from within FL with right click > delete. it's too easy to let your sample collection turn into an unmanageable mess really quickly.
Not that you asked but it’s “way more” and not “way much”. Or “much more”. Way much might incur some judgement. Up to you if you want to correct it. Thanks for vids

The least amount of subfolders is also good. is less visual overload and much smoother when you're in the zone.
true truee
FL Studio 21 will bring such a big opportunity for organising files (U can favorite samples & give tags)
they thought about this now instead of 5 years ago xD

Fiko shares tips that actually help.
Have you tried Ableton in depth?
Love you fikoo

I don't use FL Studio, but this is also helpful if you're using other DAWs.
Very good video

I love the template tip, Thank you Fiko W
Speaking from experience, just go ahead and add FXs and frequently-used synths, keys to your template. You'll focus on creating even further.
Literally Fire 🔥
