Not necessarily, the lore doesn't say they're weak, just that they're just as susceptible as humans. Meaning that unlike many other things, they don't have any defense for it. Meaning that the fire effect on you would be the same as before, so it shouldn't present that large of a weakness. Especially with enchantments.
That and, what Tricky said, by the time Alduin returns you'll be so fucking overpowered that your Lesser Ward will completely thwart all of his breath. And you'll have 100k HP.
I like that CHIM and Zero Sum can be explained fairly easily in fact. CHIM is the state of being awake in the dream that is mundus. Awake and aware as the dreamer in the dream, lucid and able to shape it to your will. Zero Sum is effectively waking up from the dream, and therefore, removing yourself from it. The crazy shit starts when you start comprehending the fact that with CHIM you don't just change things now, but as they have always been and always will be. You want to turn all the dunmer into rabbits, bam, the dunmer have always been rabbits. And Zero Sum... well... That's the weird one, because when you zero sum, you never existed and you never zero summed, because... you didn't exist, so... The point would be, how can you explain and know a concept that erases itself?
not true, dark souls lore may be very deep but in reality it does not encompass much, while elder scrolls is much further reaching and extends upon its lore in much more theoretical aspects
+friendlyelites that is true. I guess I just find dark souls lore to be more interesting. and Dark Souls is also an amazing game hitfan01. you just need to have the patience for it.
***** Maybe so. Maybe (like Trump) all he cares about is recognition I chose to kill him as a direct result of the Thalmor documents. Can't have such a powerful but easily manipulated enemy running around. (Until just now, I had never realized how much like Trump he is. Now I have to get a kitten off my earbud chord.) Cheers.
Ulfric is nothing like Trump. He's legit, Trump is not. But let's forget about Trump, that's USA problem, not ours. Let's talk about Ulfric: I choosed the Imperial, but I understand why Ulfric did what he did, and I do believe he really believes in what he say in the game. He really wants to protect Skyrim and the Nord. He's just doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, and that's why he's accepted into Sovrengard after his death. Please don't compare such a wonderful written character with such an asshole.
he might also be let in sovrengard because he tried to keep skyrim in control of its true owners the nords(you never know also dont the imperials have different religion they did the thalos ban from what i remember but im not certain)
I'd recommend actually reading the in-game and out of game books (check out the Imperial Library) and visiting some forums, ShoddyCast tends to generalize and spout things as gospel truth when there are actually several versions of a given story or person.
Can I just stop and say thank you for how you credited everyone and gave the opportunity to contact you if needed...really professional dude. Got another sub for that alone
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words :) Actually have a 5 Dark Brotherhood secrets video coming tomorrow morning at 8 am PST, in case you would be interested in that :D
oh its great shit. you should check out Shoddycast for their Elder Scrolls Lore series. hours and hours of stuff that will make this game feel so real.
Kershmey well morrowind made the lore. you can't really count arena and daggerfall to the lore because they are very different than the rest. so morrowind was the first with lore and "created it"
Roshank Redemption cause if you use the intro overhaul mod mod which allows you to hear cut out dialogue you see tallius and elywen talking and elywen says under thalmor authority hand ulfric to me we need to interagate him and if you listen closely talius says to elywen he escaped from you once what makes you think he cant do it again
johnathan totton - interesting thoughts! I'm aware of the mod, but I respectfully have 2 issues with what you said. 1) Bethesda intentionally cut that part out of the game, but left the Thalmor Dossier in. There must have been some sort of reasoning behind that decision. 2) The Thalmor could have let him escape, but made it look like he escaped on his own. After all, if the Thalmor had allowed him to escape, they wouldn't have wanted to let the empire know about that. If they did, the Empire would know that the Thalmor are using the Stormcloaks to deliberately weaken them. Also, don't you find it rather curious that Elenwen wants Ulfric back? If they've already interrogated him, what need would they have for him again? Just my thoughts, take it for what you will! :)
This was the first video I have ever watched on youtube with the title "... you may not know" and actually didn't know a single one from it... I actually enjoyed the entire video and am now even more curious about the elder scrolls universe, also you sound like kevin from supernatural...
The dominion may not even be a thing anymore during the next game. check out the time periods you play in Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. They are set hundreds, if not at least a thousand or two years apart. The events in Oblivion are looked upon in Skyrim as ancient legends and folklore. Much like how we look at ancient Greek or Egyptian times. But as far as setting goes, I would like to play out a game in either Highrock or the Valenwood. Maybe a dlc that takes us to the Orsimer lands to engage in a tribal war.
***** i can see where the hate is coming from by the hardcore fans. In the old games you werent given waypoint markers you had to read the books and figure your way out of the dungeons. The killing of alduin was a bit meh as well. Feels like you get no rewards for completing the final mission.
Derik NA yeah, we do need to explore all the places. But I meant like, after the rest of the games Alduin eats the world, and you tried to stop him but couldn't?
Currently in the planning stage. I'm the only one who worked on my last game(When Yanderes Cry) but now I've got 2 more people to help. I believe that it's gonna be an RPG/Visual Novel hybrid. Not sure if we're going to go for a horror game or a medieval fantasy one. I just built the team yesterday so we haven't established anything at the moment.
It literally says in the dossier that Ulfric refuses to cooperate with the Thalmor, and even though they have indirectly aided the cause, they do not want the Stormcloaks to win. So much for "Ulfric is directly working with the Thalmor".
roflnoods1 it only said the last one was highly unlikely, which is the one where he is aware of working and helping the thalmor. The first two (what this guy is talking about) are saying the thalmor basically brainwashed him and want him to fight the empire.
The Thalmor did practically torture him and made him think that the fall of the Empire during the Great War was his fault, but his rebellion was his choice. I'm not actually on the Stormcloaks side, and I know that the Thalmor are attempting to use him to weaken the Empire, but he is not *directly* working with them. Which is why that last theory is very unlikely. I did listen to the video, but I am just stating and putting forth reasoning as to why that last theory is unlikely.
Lola Heim actually if either side won, it would prove helpful to the thalmor, both sides pouring in considerable resources, and the loss of soldiers and assets on both sides. The only thing that would make he thalmor tremble is the unification between Skyrim, Cyrodil, and Hammerfell. The three largest continents in TES.
That just makes it even worse. Ulfric is being duped by the enemy, and he doesn't know it. Can we really entrust the fate of mankind to a person who is so easily duped by the same Talos-hating Elves he professes to hate? Not only that, but the Thalmor and the Empire both captured him once. He's not only a fool, but his enemies could have killed him easily had he not been saved by outside circumstances. That's not the leader mankind needs in this war.
"You are Shor". It gets worse. We, the players, are Lorkhan. The gods, Magnus, and all the other supernatural creatures responsible for the creation of the world are the Developers. The Daedra are bugs in the work, powerful in their own right but bound by their very nature into certain patterns they can never break out of, thus never truly being free. We are responsible for the creation of the Elder Scrolls universe, so we are Lorkhan. I don't mean your characters, I mean YOU. ME. US. The real us. The various people sitting in front of a monitor reading these words. The gods (Developers) gave the world form and shape, but as the impetus we brought it to life and are the main reason for its existence. The "punishment" of Lorkhan is merely the result of the universe explaining why we can not be there, yet directly influence and control it, hence the "dead god" that isn't present, but still has power to affect things. And Sheogorath knows. As the Madgod he KNOWS.
That was super interesting dude! Man elder scrolls lore is so awesome, the fact it's a video game and they've created all of this just for a video game is amazing
The one issue I have with the Ulfric one is that the Thalmore call anyone who aided teir cause an asset. Most of the time it would result in those not wanting to help them still being called assets.
Scott Gates think about the fact that people were still allowed to worship Talos on there own until ulfric committed the atrocities known as the markarth incident after that the empire was forced to allow the Thalmor to in force the ban so ulfic is the reason the Thalmors influence is so strong in skyrim
You are amazing. It is one thing to read and understand the lore, but the way you present it, the way you backtrace the history and the connections. You are a true Elderscrolls Lorian.
Wait, there was a theory that Elder Scrolls and Fallout were taking place in the same universe (because of the existence of Nirnroot in both worlds). It lay sound stupid, but could that mean that Fallout could be another kalpa?
You got something a bit wrong my friend, as to weather you believe that Lorkhan tricked the divines to make Nirn/Mundus or they came willingly at the start depends on weather you are Human or Elf, the Humans believe he persuaded not tricked. Just some feedback, loved the vid!
Thesaurus Rex That could just be the temptations from the power it held. And given how quick many Mer were to consort with Daedra at the time for power, it's not too surprising...
Lightscribe225 What I was indicating was the difference between the effects on the false Tribunal and Dagoth Ur. While the Tribunal (who were much less generally malevolent than Dagoth Ur) needed to relatively frequently use Kagrenac's tools to regenerate their powers, the heart imparted greater power onto Dagoth Ur (whose actions were generally more destructive towards all parties) without him even seeking it.
My impression was that Talos is not Shor, but that Talos was able to ascend to godhood by virtue of the void left by the murdered Shor. So Talos as the god of men is a kind of stand-in for Shor.
Elder Scrolls I The Phantom Treason Elder Scrolls II Attack of the Numidium Elder Scrolls III Revenge of Nerevar Elder Scrolls IV A New Heir Elder Scrolls V The Altmer Strikes Back Elder Scrolls VI Return of Shor
I think the DB is Alduin reborn. Alduin is sent to the past once by humanity, I think at the end of Skyrim, when the DB defeats Alduin, Alduin is sent back by Akatosh again to clean up his mess because he didn't fucking learn his lesson about being a dick the first time around. Being reborn as a mortal was punishment, and he had to deal with his own stupidity.
Your Wayward Destiny Here's something fun to chew on: Akatosh is insane. As is Alduin. As is Lorkhan as both Akatosh and Lorkhan were once a single god with a split personality, each personality determined to kill the other. The Dragonborn's battle with Alduin is just the latest iteration of a mad god's feud with itself.
+Lightscribe225 You been playing with a wabbajack? Not every piece of in-game lore is canonically accurate to what actually occurred, as is intended for realism, so any two-part beings and contradictory definitions are purely fiction.
I've been here since 2k. It's funny because I notice a difference in his voice now, it's deeper which is weird because he already went through puberty I'm sure lol
So I've actually known what Alduin's purpose was since basically Skyrim came out but I never really put these two connections together until just now... Alduin's original purpose, as you said in the video Roshank, was to eat the world and start anew... well I'm a very big Dragon Ball fan too and, if you haven't already heard (if you like Dragon ball at all and haven't yet hear about this I would be sorely disappointed but regardless) there is a new series out called Dragonball Super and prior to this series coming out two new movies came out Battle of Gods, and Resurrection of F. Resurrection F doesn't really have any connection to this theory but Battle of Gods very much does, because in Battle of Gods they introduced a new character, Lord Beerus the Destroyer, he is what they call in the Dragon Ball franchise a "God of Destruction." He is not an out rightly "bad" character it's just his job is... to destroy, his job is to destroy planets that's it, but he's not bad, that's just his job, he's to go around and decide whether or not a planet stays or goes, and at the time Battle of Gods came out he was the strongest being in existence (aside from his attendant Whis). Alduin's case is very similar, he has been known about in the Scrolls for... basically ever his job is basically to destroy the world and start anew... that was the point of the Gods of Destruction too in Dragon Ball they were supposed to destroy the world's so the "Kaioshin" (in japanese) the Supreme Kai's or the Gods of Creation (case in point Supreme Kai from the Buu saga) were supposed to create anew... (in the end Beerus did not end up destroying Earth or anything but that's regardless) but the basic idea behind the two is very similar and it makes me wonder... does anyone think that the creator of Dragon Ball, the one that came up with the Gods of Destruction, etc., Akira Toriyama take reference from Skyrim and the Elder Scrolls possibly do you think? Because the idea is very much the same idea.
Dotagamer I know about Norse mythology... but I meant Akira getting the idea from Skyrim since it was such a massively popular game... not everyone just sits around and thinks about Norse mythology every day... yes I know about Ragnarok and all that but the timing is just kind of on point for the two
TheGreatAngel dude the concept of god of destruction and it's idea didn't came from akira toriyama he just used that concept. remember shiva the god of destruction from hindu mythology just because shiva is the god of destruction it doesn't mean he's evil because destruction has 2 meaning it can be the end of something and can also mean start of something new
I should clarify (also sorry it took forever to respond youtube glitched out and I didn't remember the name of the video to come back to lol) but (I personally do not believe that Toriyama took the idea FROM skyrim specifically I guess I didn't make that point clear, I just think that there's a possibility that this game may have given him the initial "spark," so to say, for the new series, take for example, I'm a writer myself and every new book I write has some form of "spark" where it comes from, my first book was heavily influenced by the game Blue Dragon and the Diablo Sin War book trilogy, I was just trying to say it would be cool if he took the initial idea from this game because what other "current" media can you tell me about that involves this concept? Because, as I said before, not everyone goes around think about ancient greek, roman, lithuanian, etc. history and in multiple interviews Toriyama has stated that he's a free thinking artist he doesn't do research into it it just comes to him... so theres obviously gotta be some impulse to it right? I don't know... it wasn't anything to make a big deal of like its become just some food for thought
That kulpa thing blew my mind! I always felt as if "hey this is what Alduin is meant to do, why should we stop him if not to just prolong the inevitable? but then again, what would be the point? He will fulfill his duty at some point." Unfortunately Bethesda never really gives you the option of laying down your sword/ bow/ staff and accepting the will of the divine. Also, it becomes quickly apparent that Alduin is just here to once again assert dominance over man and mer and NOT to actually "eat" the world.
That is like TES Groundhog Day lol I think it makes more sense that we jus did what the Dragonrend Nords did and sent him even further ahead in time, to a point when he has to contend with another Dragonborn or dominate the world unopposed.
+Jim Mulvaney The problem with that is when the Tongues sent him forward in time they did so from the mortal realm and used the Elder Scroll to do it and you can see that Alduin is enveloped in a kind of portal where he stood. When you defeat him in Sovngarde you see his physical form ripped apart and his ethereal form is snatched into the sky. It's more logical to assume that he was taken into Aetherious to be judged by the gods, rather than to have been sent forward in time again.
Ah, I love Elder Scrolls Lore videos. The sheer amount of lore in the world built by this series is just fantastic. Great vid, I'm gonna go watch more!
I never thought about the dragonborn being a reincarnation of Shor, but that does make some sense. And it's not like it's the first time your character has been a reincarnation. The rest I knew, but loved them all anyhow, especially the part about Alduin and the kalpa
Finally a video that actually shares some secrets not from the obvious! Well done, despite being a lore fanatic of the Elder Scrolls I actually learnt something I didn't already possess knowledge of... that secret of Ulfric though kinda makes you think more about the Stormcloaks and their views
Dude! Thank you for a quality video. I'm always sceptical about these videos that showcase 'secrets', as it's mostly just "Did you know you can use a fork as a weapon?" type stuff. Kudos to you, my friend. Kudos to you.
i want an entire elder scroll game based on the thalmor and fighting back to retain the emperor and over throw them or you can join them and rule over man and kill all rebels
the 1st theory sounds legitimate because when ur talking to Tulis on the battle of solitude he was laughing and said: "You fools this is what the Thalmor wanted all along."
A few things, Shubham. First, the Thalmor didn't exist in the first era. They existed in the second and fourth eras. The Thalmor in the second era was a tad more friendly than the one you see in Skyrim. Second, the cradle of humanity on Tamriel is in the north, not specifically Skyrim. High Rock, Hammerfell, Skyrim, and Cyrodiil could all be called "the cradle of humanity". The Redguards are not from the same ancestry as Nords. And the Imperials were on Tamriel before both the Nords and Redguards.
Bengt Svenson Yes he says that, but it doesn't make it true. If you read the Thalmor Dossier on Ulfric, then it states that a Stormcloak victory is not desired, the Thalmor wanted to keep Skyrim in a perpetual state of civil war. So, Tullias was actually wrong.
this is so much better than those never ending lame easter egg countdowns. Youre truly one of the best Elder Scrolls related content producers on youtube! Keep it up!
Whenever I watch one of these secrets you may not know videos I always end up knowing all of the secrets listed. This is the first time I have ever watched one of these videos, and didn't actually know all of the secrets listed. I only knew one of the secrets listed. Good video. Thanks for uploading.
Badass video! Totally makes sense. Great research! Totally blows the doors open on potential theories about TESVI. Sub worthy! Looking forward to more deep videos like this one.
that moment when youve had skyrim for years and years and you finally see a video with facts you actually had no idea about, like ulfric being set free by the thalmor... and now hes the rebel leader? theres no such thing as coincidence here, great vid.
Okay stop, stop right there at Fact 1, let's clear shit up. The Dossier DOES say a lot about who wants what, but nobody ever reads that thing fully. What it SAYS is that 'OUR AGENTS' contacted Ulfric to set about the Markarth Incident, and later ending all potential direct contact with the Thalmor. Now, who contacted Ulfric in the first place to retake Markarth in exchange for Talos worship? Jarl Igmund of Markarth. And who has Thalmor 'patrolling' right outside the Jarl's chambers? Jarl Igmund of Markarth. It explains why Igmund so quickly threw Ulfric and his men in jail after promising things and just being like 'well golly gee no one could have seen this happening'. The Thalmor in Markarth aren't there for intimidation, they're his protection. Meanwhile, the dossier also wants Ulfric to wage a war but never truly win or lose, leaving a long-term drain on resources for all sides in a potential later Great War. The biggest resource is men, as the Dominion is strapped for soldiers in the wake of the Great War, hence why their powerhungry goals don't have them just keep fighting. If you side with the Stormcloaks and clean the field, you only partly give the Thalmor what they want, which is dead soldiers. The only wrong option is letting the Civil War continue, the best option is to go truce and then never leave Sovngarde, since the truce ends when you leave.
Do as you please, but if we ever meet in war or not anymore (I think I will never ever join one side) then you are going to die. Why? Ever thought while being smaller than a mouse? JK, different DBs never meat each other
You forgot to mention that Ulfric hasn't been cooperative since the Markarth Incident, and it is view has dormant. They only try to interfere at Helgan because if the war continues then they will benefit from it. The thalmor don't want a Stormcloak victory has much has they want an Empire victory. If the Stormcloaks win then the thalmor influence in Skyrim is weaken and Skyrim can prepare for war (possibly create an alliance with the Redguards who continue to fight the thalmor after the Empire disavowed them and made them sign the second treaty of Stros M'kai) or if the Empire win then theirs a unified Empire although the thalmor still has free reign to kidnap and imprison whoever they desire such as people that could foiled their plans like Tullis or the Dragonborn. Would the empire give the Dragonborn over to the thalmor if they demanded it? I would think so, they are cowards that only care about keeping their power. You can't truly be free without risking everything in the process. The imperials forget that, they want to play the thalmor's game. When the correct response is to take that game and smash them over the head with it. Long Live Ulfric!! Long Live Skyrim!!
well if someone tried to imprison the dragonborn it would need some serious magic to stop the dragonborn shouting down a wall or something like that and there is ashout to become ethereal so the dragonborn could literally walk out of jail get hit by 1 million arrows and shit like that and be home early for dinner with lydia and if that happened and my theory above happened(execpt the lydia part well maybe i dunno)what do you think the dragonborn would do to the imperials and also you can do some quests for the queen and the quests for the imperials conquering and just become friends with a lot of powerful ppl which could counteract that but also you might look from a different way
stephens721 From my faded memory. the Empire wants to keep Skyrim under control in order to rally against the Thalmor. I'm not sure if you know, but the Thalmor are powerful enough that they see the Great War between them and the Empire as The First War, implying that they will wage another one soon. Presumably once the Empire has lost its usefulness. It's because of this that they would want the Stormcloaks to win-a divided nation is an easy one. Honestly though, whichever end is useful to them, as an imperial victory means more free reign over the area.
+dominik abora Take a look at one of Morrowind books called "Silence", pretty interest and if you think about it, if you silenced the Dragonborn, he cannot shout, since the power came from the voice, from a word(s) or atleast a newbie Dragonborn.
You said "would the empire give the Dragonborn over to the thalmor if they demanded it?" pffft if they do demanded to have the Dragonborn which can be a powerful asset to the Empire then that is obviously a declaration of the second war. Seriously the Empire is the strongest human faction, you might say that they are weak because they lost the war and proven weak because the Redguards drive the thalmor back, as if the Thalmor would use their full strength over Hammerfell. Also the Redguards does not trust the Nords for invading their country and also the warriors in Skyrim are shadow of its former self. Why? ex-legionnaires nords are nothing but old men and woman, farmers and fishermen as soldiers and soldiers that have not experienced war. "The imperials forget that they want to play the thalmor's game"? I don't understand this one as if losing a war is not normal. Also you said that Skyrim can prepare a new war, *HAH* Then what will Ulfric do when his soldiers were Empire supporters, common people and soldiers that were injured recently?
After reading what the Thalmor wrote on Ulfric, I figured he might have been a pawn in the Thalmor's plan to take over the Empire. I don't think he works for them directly, but works for them unintentionally. I still usually choose the Stormcloaks though. lol
Why not choose them? They have a pretty good point about the Empire bowing to the will of the Thalmor and oppressing their own people. On the other hand, the Empire also has a good point about Tamriel needing unity so they can face down the Thalmor in the next great war. Neither side is fully right or wrong, whether ethically or politically.
Thijs Tharn That is your personal opinion. I believe he's honest in wanting to rid Skyrim of the empire and give it back to the people. It was the Empire who banned Talos. Not the Thalmor. So yes they are anti religious freedom. The Empire is also more communist. Not a Monarchy.
well started to play the game on the 13 of November 2011... the day after i bought it, and decidede not to choose any of the human factions... becouse both go against my feelings...
Jake Sutton Talos was one of the reincarnations of Shor, so technically yes Dovahkiin was the reincarnation of Talos but he really was the reincarnation of Shor
sithalo welcome to TES lore the planets are governed by gods, the sun is a hole in the universe, The tentacle demon has a planet Do you really think a continent wouldn't be a parallel universe
In the Elder Scrolls the further you travel across the surface of the planet the laws of reality and physics bend and morph. So the other continent might as well be.
awesome video that makes so much more sense now I've been trying to read most of the books that I find playing the game but there are so many LOL actually helps out a lot. nice vid bro
Cool video! I love the hidden depth of Skyrim's story and its subtle complexities, and it's always cool to see other people nerding out over the lore. As to Ulfric's secret, the second theory really has nothing to back it up (though magic was probably a factor in his interrogation) and the first theory is far too forgiving; I think the third option is the most heavily implied by the lore, though with some BIG caveats. The dossier clearly states that they 'made contact' with Ulfric, which resulted in him 'proving his worth' at the Markarth incident, only AFTER which he 'broke off contact', and they from then on considered him more unruly, even potentially dangerous, but still an asset. What happened here is pretty clear once you get the lore on the Markarth Incident itself, best described by NPC's kicking around Markarth and a few in Solitude/elsewhere, and why it's so important to the Thalmor. After his torture and 'escape', Ulfric became- as the Thalmor anticipated- Jarl of WIndhelm. The Thalmor then approached Ulfric in secret, and- though magic could be a factor- more likely simply blackmail him, threatening to expose him as traitor and coward, which they've convinced him through torture is the truth. Seeing an opportunity in the wild Breton's takeover of Markarth and the as yet unanswered call for help, they put Ulfric up to the fabled 'Markarth incident', in which he retook Markath for Skyrim earning him Hero-status, and in the same breath- this being the crucial bit for the Thalmor and almost certainly done at their behest- declared Talos worship must be allowed. Prior to this incident, as confirmed talking to several NPCs, the Talos ban was only on paper, there was no one to enforce it, and people could do what they wished. The Thalmor used the Markarth incident to pressure the Empire- this being a serious violation of their peace treaty the White-Gold Concordat- to actually start policing and enforcing the treaty in Skyrim. This led to more dissent, which led to more enforcement, until full-on civil war erupted. Nothing could be better for the Thalmor, as Skyrim is the traditional strong back-bone of the Empire, and pitting them against each-other weakens both, while they continue to gather strength. Ulfric did all this with reluctance however, and though he has indeed both broken and lost faith with the Empire, he absolutely despises the Thalmor, particularly Elenwen, the First Emissary of the Thalmor to Skyrim and Ulfric's old interrogator. As the Thalmor state in their dossier, they worry about Ulfric actually winning the civil war, which suggests they're not at all certain they can control him in that event. It's my belief that while Ulfric began the Stormcloak rebellion as a reluctant pawn, he has every intention of fighting the Thalmor in earnest given the opportunity. As the Dragonborn is the closest thing to a legitimate heir to the Empire remaining, Ulfric and the Dragonborn have a fair chance of uniting the Empire and defeating the Thalmor in the aftermath of the civil war, making Ulfric not necessarily the 'wrong/bad' choice. That's my personal take on it, considering all the lore- both written and spoken- on the subject.
So the whole "Leaping Demon King VS Alduin" thing is canon no more? Because that used to be Mehrunes Dagon's genesis..... Mehrunes Dagon was a demonic sovereign before turning (or better, being turned) into the Prince of Destruction. The accepted canon tells us the story of how the Leaping Demon King used to "steal" parts of different kalpas and hide them here and there through Nirn until Alduin came for the end of the "then" times and found he was securing pieces of worlds from the ultimate annihilation. Alduin then sort of cursed the Leaping Demon King to become the exact opposite of what he was: a destroyer instead of a "saviour", forcing him to find and un-make the pieces of worlds he hid through Nirn. A task not so easy since Mehrunes Dagon himself can't remember where he put all of them while being his previous self, that's why he's fanatically keen with conquest and destruction.
The Dragonborn is destined to follow the same path of Tiber Septim, WHICH IS THE IMPERIAL LEGION and kicking some Thalmor ass! Don't you think that the Stormcloaks being "heroes of freedom" is too clitchè for a dark fantasy like Elder Scrolls?? Why you never question the real truth behind all that, Ulfric is a fucking Thalmor spy (probably even an high rank officer of the Aldmeri Dominion army under cover) and the Stormcloaks are basically poor peasants who are fighting for nothing. Do you really think that the Imperial soldiers and generals don't believe in Talos anymore, well I'll tell you something new THEY ALL BELIEVE IN THE MIGHTY TALOS and if you pay attention Tullius says that he doesn't approve this fake peace with the Dominion and Rikke basically says the same thing and by speaking with her you can understand that she believe in Talos. They simply can't admit yet this because they were preparing for a big counterattack against the Aldmeri Dominion but the Stormcloacks ruined everything! But the fate will be kind to the Legions of Tamriel and the Dragonborn will lead them to victory like Talos did. Join the Legion guys if you really want to fight for the glory of Tiber Septim and for the glory of his Empire
Frank -97 If this is the case than the Dragonborn should be Emperor, not some Elven lapdog. Like the Empire would be able to do anything with that coward of an Emperor.
Well ulfric is kinda of a nice guy...when he is not being a dick. The thing about skyrim war is that neither sides are total right or winning anything, the only one that is winning are the thalmors.
I'm always an Imperial. Not because I really care which side I'm on, they're both pretty much the same, but because I don't like Ulfric's voice actor. He always sounds like he's about to throw up...
GaMer PrOvince how is ulfric a dick? Everything he does is for his country. He's tired of people being killed for worshipping talos, innocent people having their heads chopped all because of worshipping someone.
Well they wouldn't be getting killed if it weren't for the Markarth Incident. If he hadn't been agitating, the Empire would have had no reason to let the Thalmor into Skyrim. As Alvor said, back before that everybody had their shrine and nobody cared. The empire only really started to care about it when Ulfric brought attention to it and forced their hand to keep peace with the Thalmor. It's his fault the Thalmor are even in Skyrim.
Cancel that order Still.. Its never been implicated he was aware or in any way directly working for the thalmor. Not complaining about the content, just idk.
Actually, if you delve into the idea of "CHIM" in Elder Scrolls, you find out that each Kalpa is, in fact, a dream. Alduin is the alarm clock going off, and the Dragonborn is the snooze button.
The Elder Scrolls has an amazing lore. It's too bad the actual in-game stories are mostly mediocre "save the world from the big bad" plot lines. Bethesda should find some good writers that can utilize this world to its full potential.
A kalpa is Not a cycle of time. It is a dream of the Godhead, basically a universe dreamed by an ultimate being akin to Brahmin aka Ultimate reality as described in Hinduism. There are many dreams, each with their own rules and yes they can interact under the right circumstances. Hence why there is the Concept of achieving CHIM, when an individual realises they are but a dream two things can happen: either 1) they are divided by zero aka wiped from reality as if they never existed, no memory or trace. Or 2) they have sufucient will power to achieve CHIM and become a lucid dreamer. Gaining the ability to alter the dream aka reality at will.
This is truly astounding, this information is actually based on various philosophical theories, there is a lot more to the Elder Scrolls than we think....
Yeah, that's what I originally thought months ago when I finally did that Daedric quest for the first time. I said Scottish/Irish just in case I could have been wrong about the accent being Irish.
God damn it guys I got a huge exam in like one hour and wanted to calm down by watching some Skyrim just to come across another Jew argument. We don't like Trump, we do enjoy that he supports Israel but the government of Israel is corrupted and the people leading it need to be replaced. We prefer an intelligent leader over a dumb moron, he's obviously working with certain big Jewish families but stop thinking all of us want that... God damn I should be studying... I'm studying business because the only thing I'm good with it money. Ah fuck it.
I'm rather proud of myself that I knew all of these. Though I will say that I have a fourth theory regarding Ulfric relatively similar to your second theory. I believe that, through magic, the Thalmor are able to subtly influence Ulfric's actions (likely through a situation close to post-hypnotic suggestion, where certain triggers can be used to drive Ulfric into certain choices). The same document also heavily implies that the Thalmor used Ulfric to orchestrate the Markarth incident, though that he fell out of their direct influence afterwards. My suspicion is that the Thalmor sent messages to Ulfric that contained triggers, and that after the Markarth incident, he refused to read any messages that the Thalmor sent. It also offers explanation as to how exactly Ulfric managed to escape from Helgen, even though it was still effectively walled and filled with Imperial troops: the Thalmor helped him.
Well, there's actually an interesting theory that Akavir IS the next kalpa. That's based off the idea that time changes as you move across Nirn, and a lot of loremasters will tell you that Akavir is the "future" (confusing, I know xD). So if the next game takes place in Akavir, then, well, that could very well be a game in the next kalpa!
What if the Dragonborn goes Vampire, never dies, and is still kicking when Alduin returns?
"Hey Alduin, remember me?"
"Oh, God damn it."
XD
The Sexual Tyrannosaurus Arent vampires weak to fire?
Not necessarily, the lore doesn't say they're weak, just that they're just as susceptible as humans. Meaning that unlike many other things, they don't have any defense for it. Meaning that the fire effect on you would be the same as before, so it shouldn't present that large of a weakness. Especially with enchantments.
That and, what Tricky said, by the time Alduin returns you'll be so fucking overpowered that your Lesser Ward will completely thwart all of his breath. And you'll have 100k HP.
The Sexual Tyrannosaurus s
*Turns subtitle on* ....."Alfred trained to be a great beer".... *Turns subtitle off*
Szabò Bence turns subtitle on: "aldwin the world eater"
im crying
"Alduin's role as world leader" sounds legit
wail rimouch well he was at some point
Bow to me , im all doing the world leader dragon
Thing that I love about Elder Scrolls lore is that on the surfaces it seems pretty standard, but when you dig into it it's crazy
Don't even start on CHIM and c0da it's a mind fuck
Oh yeah i'm aware of how insane that is.
The point would be, how can you explain and know a concept that erases itself?
think of chim being a dev messing around in the final game with the Console, tgm, delete, and all that.
phantomviper211 that's why I love it
Finally, a Skyrim secrets video that actually includes facts that not every single person who has ever played Skyrim knows.
Kathleen Costello I was thinking the same
I knew all of these except what a kalpa was because i don't speak dragon
because you are not one of dovah
Kek Man fake dragonborn you are.
look at all these fuckin nerds pretending like they know everything 😂
The elder scrolls has soooo much lore
not as much as Dark Souls
Elder scrolls is actually a good game though
That's debatable, Dark Souls has a more in-depth lore, but Elder Scrolls seems far, far more extensive.
not true, dark souls lore may be very deep but in reality it does not encompass much, while elder scrolls is much further reaching and extends upon its lore in much more theoretical aspects
+friendlyelites that is true. I guess I just find dark souls lore to be more interesting. and Dark Souls is also an amazing game hitfan01. you just need to have the patience for it.
The last Dragonborn is an incarnation... are you Shor about that?
Get out
Very clever ;)
DeadDudeGaming LMAO. No it's time to stop 😂
that's fucking great, I love it.
DeadDudeGaming wow
Ulfric is a very complex character, you should have pointed out that if you kill him during the civil war, then you will meet him in Sovrengard.
Yeah, I found that out when I killed him, and met him it Sovrengard. You'd think he would have been upset about it, but he wasn't.
Please don't compare such a wonderful written character with such an asshole.
he might also be let in sovrengard because he tried to keep skyrim in control of its true owners the nords(you never know also dont the imperials have different religion they did the thalos ban from what i remember but im not certain)
dominik obora By that argument, you could say the Fosworn are the true inhabitants of Skyrim... and I believe they are Breton.
Skyrim lore is my new bedtime story.
check out lore from shoddy cast dude, great stuff
check out TESlore for the sweet stuff
I'd recommend actually reading the in-game and out of game books (check out the Imperial Library) and visiting some forums, ShoddyCast tends to generalize and spout things as gospel truth when there are actually several versions of a given story or person.
Fucking love that rabbit hole
Saška Prpić you should go subscribe to shadow cast then he has 2 season on the elder scrolls lore
Can I just stop and say thank you for how you credited everyone and gave the opportunity to contact you if needed...really professional dude. Got another sub for that alone
Thank you! :)
I have never seen this level of detail.
First time I didn't know anything on this list except for a few minor details.
good show.
Thank you! I really appreciate the kind words :) Actually have a 5 Dark Brotherhood secrets video coming tomorrow morning at 8 am PST, in case you would be interested in that :D
Roshank Redemption oh im gonna be watching that shit my dude
I play skyrim almost everyday and I knew absolutely none of this lol I'm gonna subscribe now
oh its great shit. you should check out Shoddycast for their Elder Scrolls Lore series. hours and hours of stuff that will make this game feel so real.
Yes, check out ShoddyCast, both seasons to understand a little about the races, important conflicts and daedric princes.
Morrowind was a loregasm. Oh-Muh-Gawd, collecting the 36 Lessons of Vivec...
Kershmey well morrowind made the lore. you can't really count arena and daggerfall to the lore because they are very different than the rest. so morrowind was the first with lore and "created it"
Thanks to everyone for all the support recently! Couldn't be happier with the small but awesome community I'm lucky to have :)
You know it there's such thing as not watching all of it and moving on with your life but no you HAD to do this go f*ck yourself
Matt Ryan the info about Ulfric is wrong he escaped himself not set free
Roshank Redemption well the voice is unknow to the traitor of summerset
This was the first video I have ever watched on youtube with the title "... you may not know" and actually didn't know a single one from it... I actually enjoyed the entire video and am now even more curious about the elder scrolls universe, also you sound like kevin from supernatural...
Thanks, glad I was able to teach you a few facts :). Appreciate the comment and support :)
Oh shit he does sound like Kevin😂😂
i hope the next elders scrolls storyline includes all the regions and one of the major story arcs is erradicating the aldmeri dominion
wayne king yes the orcs should rise up an defend orcinium and destroy the altmery dominion
Greg Larson wasnt the aldmeri dominion a thing in orrowind and oblivion?
***** daggerfall was poopy by todays standards. Its just regenerating land with same characters and building.
***** i can see where the hate is coming from by the hardcore fans. In the old games you werent given waypoint markers you had to read the books and figure your way out of the dungeons. The killing of alduin was a bit meh as well. Feels like you get no rewards for completing the final mission.
Now, let's be honest, this kind of thing is what makes us want to play as a mage xD
Ive rolled a couple pure mages. They are a fun challenge.
A red skined mage that named "Magnus"... No?
so that's where his eye went
To be fair.... Legendary difficulty... If you grind in the wrong places... Is a bitch xD
burued He may need it back then...
What if Bethesda ended The Elder Scrolls series with Alduin eating the world.
Gogreendreamer 123 But would it really be the end or another beginning?
Heavy.
Hmmm...... What if you were to play as a Prince or Divine?
Gogreendreamer 123 i would respect this, but honestly Nirn has so much content yet unexplored
Derik NA yeah, we do need to explore all the places.
But I meant like, after the rest of the games Alduin eats the world, and you tried to stop him but couldn't?
Someday, I'd like to create a game with a lore as deep or deeper than the Elder Scrolls.
Kousuke-shii Do it.
I'm working on it.. I'm about to start my second game project. LOL
Kousuke-shii Tell me about your second game project.
Go for it m8, don't let your dreams be dreams. I wish you the best.
It literally says in the dossier that Ulfric refuses to cooperate with the Thalmor, and even though they have indirectly aided the cause, they do not want the Stormcloaks to win. So much for "Ulfric is directly working with the Thalmor".
That's why in the video he said "Highly unlikely" Do people even listen to video's they are watching or.....?
roflnoods1 it only said the last one was highly unlikely, which is the one where he is aware of working and helping the thalmor.
Really interesting video, some of this blew my mind. Don't think I'll ever stop loving The Elder Scrolls and it's lore.
Thank you!
Go check the /teslore/ subreddit if you like the lore.
You'll learn a lot of things there.
John Doe Thanks! I'll check it out. :)
John Doe save some pussy for us
+Nathan Gilkey I saved you some water though.
As the Madgod he KNOWS.
sheogorath is best god.
Maddog3060 Bruh. Sheogorath IS the player
no, that's oblivion.
Wow. Ever been outside? With like, real people?
Douchebag's Quarterly Nope and I'm going to keep it that way.
"Shor is not present because..."
Are you shor about that?
Nova Bella no
@@darkoak1227 Yes.
That was super interesting dude! Man elder scrolls lore is so awesome, the fact it's a video game and they've created all of this just for a video game is amazing
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words :)
The one issue I have with the Ulfric one is that the Thalmore call anyone who aided teir cause an asset. Most of the time it would result in those not wanting to help them still being called assets.
Yeah I call bullshit on that one. It sound like "secret squirrel" jargon than actual conformation of Thalmor influence.
Ulfric is inadvertently helping the Thalmor though.
it's been a while, but I remember it saying they didn't want him to actually win . . .
Scott Gates think about the fact that people were still allowed to worship Talos on there own until ulfric committed the atrocities known as the markarth incident after that the empire was forced to allow the Thalmor to in force the ban so ulfic is the reason the Thalmors influence is so strong in skyrim
It doesnt matter wheter you choose the imperials or stormcloacks. In both ways the Thalmor are gaining benefit from it.
"fact one" **starts listing theories**
Grayson m your picture goes very well with your comment
truuu xD
Grayson m Ulfric working with the Thalmor is a fact. It's just how exactly he is doing it that has theories.
Emedical Truuuu
Hernan Santibanez lol seriously though working with the thalmor is fact that's just stupid
You are amazing. It is one thing to read and understand the lore, but the way you present it, the way you backtrace the history and the connections. You are a true Elderscrolls Lorian.
Do you think Bethesda will ever end the current kalpa in one if there games to reboot the series?
lore wise I think that would be a fantastic way to do a reboot
nice profile pic lol
Alpha catz .... meow thanks
agreed it not the same anymore lol
Wait, there was a theory that Elder Scrolls and Fallout were taking place in the same universe (because of the existence of Nirnroot in both worlds). It lay sound stupid, but could that mean that Fallout could be another kalpa?
You got something a bit wrong my friend, as to weather you believe that Lorkhan tricked the divines to make Nirn/Mundus or they came willingly at the start depends on weather you are Human or Elf, the Humans believe he persuaded not tricked. Just some feedback, loved the vid!
skulll800 It's possible even Lorkhan didn't know.
Lorkhan is inherently malevolent (at least towards Mer), given the effects that his heart had on the false Tribunal and Dagoth Ur.
Thesaurus Rex
That could just be the temptations from the power it held.
Some people don't know that Shor is talos or tiber septiem. And his absence of sovengaurd suggests that he did indeed assent to godhood
My impression was that Talos is not Shor, but that Talos was able to ascend to godhood by virtue of the void left by the murdered Shor. So Talos as the god of men is a kind of stand-in for Shor.
***** believe it or not. Talos does ascend to godhood and become a Devine somehow but he does
Kilij Than explain how the hero of Kvatch used Tiber Septims blood to open the portal to Mankar Camerons paradise
Yung Venuz God of guns Because he was once man and men bleed.
The Elder Scrolls 6: The Empire Strikes Back" make it happen.
is this a star wars series now
Mason Let’s hope Bethesda would go back to Oblivion’s Imperial armor design for that. Skyrim’s Imperial armor design is ridiculous.
Fight against dragonborn? Hmm
Mate.......
U Shor about that?
Elder Scrolls I The Phantom Treason
Elder Scrolls II Attack of the Numidium
Elder Scrolls III Revenge of Nerevar
Elder Scrolls IV A New Heir
Elder Scrolls V The Altmer Strikes Back
Elder Scrolls VI Return of Shor
+Lightscribe225
You been playing with a wabbajack? Not every piece of in-game lore is canonically accurate to what actually occurred, as is intended for realism, so any two-part beings and contradictory definitions are purely fiction.
Jones Crimson
Everything is fiction. Nothing is real.
Edgy :^)
mmmm but how you explain the other dragonborns? it is a cool storyline tho.
Wow Roshank, you're channel is really blowing up! It felt not that long ago that you were at 20k
I've been here since 2k. It's funny because I notice a difference in his voice now, it's deeper which is weird because he already went through puberty I'm sure lol
Lol, yeah I just turned 21 this year. I think it was a conscious change to fit the lore aesthetic a bit better haha
its probably partially a result of the release of special edition, not that im saying thats the only reason, his content is extremely good
cybertramp7 Oh no doubt. If you look at my view count for September and early October before this, it's nowhere near this video, haha
cybertramp7 Also thanks for the kind words :)
TheGreatAngel A
That kulpa thing blew my mind!
Holy shit, this one makes so much fucking sense.
I really enjoyed this! The lore has always been one my favorite facets of the elder scrolls franchise. Thanks for putting this up!
I never thought about the dragonborn being a reincarnation of Shor, but that does make some sense. And it's not like it's the first time your character has been a reincarnation. The rest I knew, but loved them all anyhow, especially the part about Alduin and the kalpa
The first video with things i actually didn't know already.
Awesome video. Even as a big tesv fan i didnt know any of these. You earned a subscriber
King Fancy facts they should've just added a dlc for that
Isn't that the what Elder Scrolls Online is about?
So, fantasy-style Star Wars? LOL
Kilij you come across thalmor in game, but they are only just getting started and aren't very evil.
King Fancy fuck the elves.
Great video man, apart from the Ulfric theory i actually didnt know the rest.So cool. And im now subscribed.=D
Thanks so much! Means a lot :D
the 1st theory sounds legitimate because when ur talking to Tulis on the battle of solitude he was laughing and said: "You fools this is what the Thalmor wanted all along."
Bengt Svenson Yeah and this would weaken the Empire and Skyrim both since now they are each without the strength of the other.
Wow... I never thought of it.
Bengt Svenson well he wasn't laughing especially considering it wasn't a laughing moment.
Bengt Svenson
Yes he says that, but it doesn't make it true.
I must say the extent of the elder scrolls lore blows my fucking mind.
Wow my mind is officially blown. Epic stuff to ponder.
Glad to hear you found the facts interesting! :)
such a good job with the editing great video overall, keep em coming! +1sub
Thanks!! :D
I agree, my brother.
finally a video on some skyrim facts and bits of lore that aren't known to everyone. Great video, bud. :)
Wauw, I didn't expect this video to be so informative after playing the elder scrolls series for do long. Good job
killed ulfric, met him in Sovrengard, then killed him again there.
super dead
Sergeant Johnson so this is where u went after Halo
That's the only way to make sure. ;)
you can kill ulfric and he appears in sovrngarde?
Gaminfish Yeah wtf?? I didnt know that! Learn something new about Skyrim every day
I killed Tullius shit, but only once, cuz not even worth going to that shit where his soul went.
"You're pure evil."
"I'm necessary evil"

No problem, thank you for the support! :D
Been playing Elder Scrolls for years but did not know most of this stuff!!! Good job!!
"The truth about Ulfric" Sounds like the words of a faithless dog.
More like a smart dog.
TheBrownTown008 I bet your husband is a High Elf
Guy with Cactus You must be confusing me for Ulfric Stormcloack.
all hail the aldmeri dominion!
TheBrownTown008 Nah, I can smell faithless imperial fear from a mile away.
Fuck man this was 8 minutes well spent thank you.
No my friend, if anything thank you for watching!
Nice team rocket intro
YOUR JUST JELLY
wow this is amazing thank you for making this video and opening my eyes as a skyrim fan
however im still joining the Stormcloaks
Alpha catz .... meow who wouldnt fuck the imperial assholes
Temetni hail Ulfric !
+Temetni Me, why? dunno... maybe because they think far more steps than them "Stormcloak" Farmers and Fishermens
xXTheScrewedsXx never said there was anything wrong choosing I just said what I said based off of opinion and nothing more
Do as you please, but if we ever meet in war or not anymore (I think I will never ever join one side) then you are going to die.
Also you said that Skyrim can prepare a new war, *HAH* Then what will Ulfric do when his soldiers were Empire supporters, common people and soldiers that were injured recently?
he meant if the corrupt empire ppl would give them the dragonborn
Well informed and easy to follow, Definitely just earned a subscriber :)
Great video man, keep them coming! Really dig your narration style.
Thijs Tharn Because freedom is better than a communist anti religious freedom rule. :)
Thijs Tharn The ignorance is astounding.
I feel powerful magic to Magnus is rhetorical
Armin Mesic WTF are you talking about?
Never liked Ulfric Stormcloak. Not even a little. The only time I played their side was the first time I played the game. Never again.
well started to play the game on the 13 of November 2011... the day after i bought it, and decidede not to choose any of the human factions... becouse both go against my feelings...
João Nunes To this day I have not joined either side even though i beat the game multiple times.
Tonberry Queen why am I the exact same as you?
Nadia Łochowska 'Cause great minds think alike. 🙂
can you tell me why !!!
I love your lore video's, mainly because I love lore in general in anything, but mostly in elder scrolls
I very much enjoyed your Elder Scrolls lore videos! They are interesting and don't contain facts that every other video has
The last Dovahkiin might also be a reincarnation of Talos.
Jake Sutton Talos was one of the reincarnations of Shor, so technically yes Dovahkiin was the reincarnation of Talos but he really was the reincarnation of Shor
Talos may also be Lorkhan. As the idea of Tiber Septim becoming Talos is him Mantling Lorkhan. Look up Mantling in the Elder Scrolls.
Devin Pierce
Shot is Lorkhan; the Nords know him by this name.
Jake Sutton Also Sheogorath may very well be the Hero of Kvatch/Champion of Cyrodil
Gary Taylor I knew that
interesting but another continent is not a parallel universe lol
in elder scrolls it might be you never know
sithalo welcome to TES lore the planets are governed by gods, the sun is a hole in the universe,
The tentacle demon has a planet
Do you really think a continent wouldn't be a parallel universe
sithalo The sun also isn't a massive hole in the sky, but in Elder Scrolls lore it is
And you obviously know the lore about it?
In the Elder Scrolls the further you travel across the surface of the planet the laws of reality and physics bend and morph. So the other continent might as well be.
Can you make a lore video about the bridge in sovngarde, the creature who was having this skeleton is anguishing me.
The bridge is made of the skeleton of a Whale, Tsun is represented by a Whale, which probably why he's the guardian of said bridge.
a ok that was'int so mysterious sadly =( But thanks
wasn't
Lexi cakes
sorry i'm french ;)
+Lexi cakes for Gods sake just stfu you grammar Nazi.
awesome video that makes so much more sense now I've been trying to read most of the books that I find playing the game but there are so many LOL actually helps out a lot. nice vid bro
Once Upon a time i asked someone: what is the difference betwen Aedras and Daedras.
The answer i got was: the "D"
...
finally 5 fact that I actually did not know! Great vid
i need morgan freeman to explain all this to me
Nice video dude. I've never stopped to think about all this facts while gaming, I would really like if you make more videos talking about TES lore.
It's the first video i watch from your channel and i already love it, will explore more of course.
Needless to say i already subscribed!
Magnus? Magnus the RED?! HOLY FUCK!
Thats what I was saying too. Naw hes being praised by Heritics.
ApexPredator_ Ragnar the red?
SlugV2 yes! the drunk was a god.
SlugV2 If you are a 40k player you would know...
wrong franchise....
Loved The Video. Even Thoe I Was Lost On Some Parts
Thanks! Sorry if I didn't explain everything that well
That Alduin thing was really interesting.
I have been playing skyrim for 6 years now and that thought never came to mind. Thank you for this video.
Great video man, watching ur videos always makes me think and changes the way i look at the characters
..........I still choose Storm Cloaks because they're blue that is all!
Im for The Imperials. Red. Blood. Fire. Roman empire.
skyrim belongs to the gourds
I chose Storm Cloaks because I don't want to be some elf lover that denies the hero god of man.
I normally play as a Stormcloak, but in my two most recent games I've played in favour of the Empire.
I used to be a Stormcloak like you, then I took a holy-shit-Ulfric-and-his-followers-are-racist-xenophobic-bastards realization to the brain x)
Just going to put this out there; *The thumbnails clickbait. It implies Ulfric was working for the thalmor..*
Dr. Ghoztz its more of a spinoff, the thalmor were using Ulfric to gain some form of control
Cancel that order Still.. Its never been implicated he was aware or in any way directly working for the thalmor.
Not complaining about the content, just idk.
Fair enough, there is some truth to it, as he said Ulfric was unknowingly helping the thalmor so i guess thats why he showed a pic of it like that.
Dr. Ghoztz thank-you I came to this video because it was click bait like their other videos, cough* 5 skyrim secrets valenwood confirmed cough*
Wow! What a fantastic video! TES lore is so interesting and the art is so beautiful. I really enjoyed this video a lot.
This was the first video of your's that i have watched and it was amazing, keep up the good work
So to compare. Alduin is basically the reapers from Mass Effect? just with free will I guess.
actually, think of it this way: nirn is essentially a phoenix, and alduin is its flame. and as we know, it is incredibly difficult to control a flame.
Actually, if you delve into the idea of "CHIM" in Elder Scrolls, you find out that each Kalpa is, in fact, a dream. Alduin is the alarm clock going off, and the Dragonborn is the snooze button.
93tdreamer That makes the Dwemer the early birds.
The Daedric Princes are the best part of the game . For all the games of elder scrolls
Sheogorath is by far the best. Probably the only Skyrim character with an Irish/Scottish accent.
Ryan Lewis yes
MOAR CHEESE!
I do not think his accent is Scottish in any way. Perhaps, Irish.
Yeah, that's what I originally thought months ago when I finally did that Daedric quest for the first time. I said Scottish/Irish just in case I could have been wrong about the accent being Irish.
I like to think that every different medieval game is another kalpa
No way, it's the same. The last kalpa was the one of the first Hists, and we know from MK that they came from nowhere in the actual cycle.
1:49 reminds me of certain political candidates who don't believe in what they say but do it to appeal to a group of people
Black Petunia hillary clinton/barack obama working directly with the jews to bring down the usa
You know who nuked a small island country twice? The only nation to use nukes?
The USA
Przemekk701 is on to something. The echelon of "jews" is the problem. Not the religion itself, but the organization of those within it.
So every politician ever in the past century?
I've seen flies that hold a position under duress more than politicians.
Ah fuck it.
Bro my mind has just been blown away! Thanks for the awesome video! I am subscribed and definitely watching more of your videos.
It also offers explanation as to how exactly Ulfric managed to escape from Helgen, even though it was still effectively walled and filled with Imperial troops: the Thalmor helped him.
what happens if the Elder Scroles VI takes place in the next Kulpa? o.0 and everyone in that new world views Alduin as the creator xD
Roshank Redemption i love The Elder Scrolls so much xDDD
