I am 77 and my son turned me on to Nirvana when he was about 13 or 14. We both agree that Nirvana is one of the greatest rock bands ever. I got him into Jimi Hendrix and the Stones. We thank each other to this day.
I remember just being in the car and this song would pop up and I would just be vibing to it. Also, some other songs of Nirvana, and that's how I started to love their band.
Life is weird. I was born in the late 50s, grew up in the 60s and 70s (naturally) really started to come alive in the 80s, liked some of the 90s (Nirvana!), not sure about what's been since then. After all of this, I guess I'm weird, too. I don't mind.
That was the first album on cd i bought.. i was 16 ...i am now 46 and i keep listening to this master piece with such emotional landscapes .. The teenager i was , feeling apart of this world i cpuldnt understand is still shouting with kurt ...
So many nights when my dad's driving home after we eat at a far away restaurant while I fall asleep in the backseat and this song is playing, not even knowing what it was. I just recently discovered this song and I get oddly nostalgic for it even if I was born in the 2000's.
I know kurt really didn’t like playing this song after a while, but i would like to think that if he had lived, he would have changed his mind about it. As a Nirvana fan it’s ok to like this song
This song is actually my first one I've heard from Nirvana. I've started listening to this again yesterday for Kurt's spiritual 57th birthday, along with Hairspray Queen and Something in the Way. It's still an amazing song and better than the one from the Black Widow movie.
Eeyup! This song is actually my first Nirvana song I'd listen to. Kurt did an amazing job and as soon as the beginning of the riff starts, I start jamming along. R.I.P. Kurt Cobain 🎸💐🕊️
I'm listening to the lyrics CLOSELY, between this song and come as you are, this guy was giving hints if things to come, a musical genius, with a truly mental MADNESS
This song kicked off the 1990s...it kicked the door in and brought the roof down. A new angry generation sick of the the soft rock big haired bands of the 80's...my era. Rest in peace Kurt... You genius ✌️❤️

He probably would have made a couple more bangers and maybe had a better life if he left the drugs. I never knew about him until after he died but him and robin Williams were always gone too early and both left because of mental illness I believe
Nobody I know appreciates this song in my life the way all you guys do❤ know I’m here dancing crazy to it like all you are at the same time in tribute to an absolute legend taken too soon 😢
I love Nirvana and could go on a long rant about life in the 90s and my experience w riding a public bus while Kurt was on it or working at a party and meeting Dave Groul. But one thing is amazing how it's now 2024 and theses lyrics so far ahead of the times actually make so much fucking sense to me now..
