Great on Air test worked well at all the key points and very readable passing the Rauceby Level crossing service station, as for Ancaster services I think if head office knew they were closing early they might re-staff it.
Nice one Richard, I listened to this test on my way up the A1 while in the truck. Good audio from the Amstrad all the way to Newark. Keep up the good work guys. 👍👍 Glenn
Looks like that willow has just been cut back. They regrow very fast. Someone near me did the same thing. Guarantee it’ll look the same as it does now next year
Hi Richard, I've heard you many times call the cheaper Amstrad's fake, are they actually fake as in cheapo knock offs or was it just a case of Amstrad trying to keep costs down and getting them produced cheaper?
Whichever they are, the Cybernet 002F chassis design was stolen & reproduced cheaply. I saw this happen with a VHF businss radio around the same time....the Tait T530 circuit appeared within an electrically identical (different case) Zycomm radio. I am sure the good quality Hong Kong version was built under licence...but no way was the fake/el cheapo version. It then causes "Amstrad CB's are crap" situation, when all they've tried is a fake one. Richard, G0OJF, UK
@@ukfmcbradioservicingTango21 Thank you for the explanation Richard, you're mention of Tait radios brings back memories, my Dad had a Tait 2 way radio in his tipper lorry many years ago and also a Pye 2 way, we also had a Pye radiogram in our living room but I am showing my age now!!
