@@toffuco hello thanks for answering, yes it would be great a tutorial on how to make a leaked section but more technical something like the leaked sections of atelier bow wow and it would be great to know how to create our own fill patterns in illustrator to apply to that type of sections please

How to select the drawing without select the shadow layer on 3:19 ?

You can select one of the building outlines, go to Select menu, choose Same, then click on Fill & Stroke
