After installing the two compression two thread rods and nuts. When you remove the remaining bolts, put a 7” length of all- thread in its place - no nut. Do this one at a time as the bolts are removed. This will keep all the sleeves in place for reassembly. Install the discs. After the clutch is compressed with the two thread rods remove the thread rod studs one at a time and install the bolts.
Evapo-Rust on parts not heavily rusted. It worked surprisingly well and a gental to use product. Muriatic acid on the heavily rusted steal plates. It has to be used in the open air and it is not a gental product to use. A very strong acid use baking soda to neutralize it.
I'm 40 years old now, I kinda remember doing one with my dad and my brother when I was about 13.... I went to skid some logs for firewood the other day an left side came uptight and killed the engine. I disengage the clutch started the cat pulled lightly on the clutch and it was still tight. I shifted it to 2 reverse eased on the clutch an it went back wards but I have no power to or brake now on the left side. So I'm guessing it's an axel. I was hoping you had a video so I could watch how to disassemble it to change it.

Do you have any video on removing an axel?
No but we have done it before I have a custom built wrench that is about 10 feet long to do the job.
