I would love to see an ‘Everything You Need to Know About Making Your Own Samples’ -for beginners. I’m interested in sampling all kinds of sounds from unusual yet common sources. What all is needed, soft and hardware, to make and use. Thanks!
I’m currently a new audio engineering student and I wanted to say thank you for your beginning statement. That literally told me what I was looking for all over UA-cam but all I could find were videos of the technical definition of sampling lol.
Thanks for watching guys! If you listen close, you can hear the difference between Foxx’s voice in the acapella intro and the sound of Ray’s voice throughout the rest of the song: “After recording another version, Foxx decided to re-record it once more as he felt it contained too many explicit lyrics. Once the track was finally in place, it was layered with additional instruments provided by American film score composer Jon Brion and individually selected by West. By the end of their very first studio session together, the pair had completed the basic tracks for the final version of "Gold Digger". Despite being a featured singer, Foxx's part only appears in the intro and the rest of the song uses West's vocals and samples of Charles.” Jacob Dupre Sweetwater Keyboard Artist
Hi there, speaking of samples and sampling, have you had the pleasure of playing with the Akai Force, it's awesome, I'm getting mine in approx 3 weeks time, can't wait, it does sampling, similar to an MPC, but it's much more than a sampler!
Very well explained. Nice set-up!! Hey Jacob, do you work with Logic Pro X? If so, would you do demonstration videos making sounds and beats like live recordings using sampling? Thanks
Could you show us how to do chromatic sampling on the KROSS 2? Apparently that's something the KROSS 1 couldn't do but the KROSS 2 can. Although it's not documented or straightforward.
I have a yahama baby grand that is very rare that would make gobs of money if it were a vst but i wish there was a way i could save it before it rots away
A real instrument makes a small instantaneous echo that these producers omit when making the sounds for the library. U can definitely tell which is a real player and which isn't.
I am wondering how original drum samples are taking, instead people are always talking about taking from something from someone else and remake some kind of new thing

Interesting fact: that’s not Ray Charles on Gold Digger, it’s Jamie Fox’s doing an impersonation of him.
i wont say impersonation, its interpolation. kanye did same with all falls down
Thanks for watching guys!

Would like more on sampling for creating an instrument. Especially SFZ, possibly with Sfzedit
GarageBand on Mac is just as good in my opinion, and the fact that it’s free is just a bonus.
Great video....thank you!
Yes! Create instruments for sample packs, etc.
Excellent video. Please do one on creating your own.
Absolutely amazing!

please indicate what software you are dsplaying on the screen (that awesome-looking thing with the tracks and moving bars). thanks.
Thank you, sir for this information on sampling. But Can you make a video on how we can take any sample in our Yamaha or any other synthesizers??
Very well explained. Nice set-up!! Hey Jacob, do you work with Logic Pro X? If so, would you do demonstration videos making sounds and beats like live recordings using sampling? Thanks
That was fun :)
Wow .....I just sampled this...
Thank you for this clear explanations.
However, what is sampling in keyboards? When they say the keyboard has x degree of sampling capacity
what software is that?

Oh jeez, using seriously outdated meme songs as inspiration, that's not good.
Sounds wack
