These singers are from the State of Mizoram which is in NE India. This part of India is overwhelmingly Christian mainly Baptist. It is only over a hundred years ago that their forefathers were converted to Christianity by Missionaries from UK and USA. Today they still faithfully practice Evangelical Christianity and have evolved into a people who use their God given musical talents for His glory. People often say they do not look Indian which is correct as their forefathers were Mongolians.
Some Mizo have similar appearance to some tribes or areas of Philippines. No idea why or how. Malay people went into south east Asia (?). No matter, they are sure handsome and beautiful people, in my opinion.
May God bless those missionaries who brought the glorious faith to these wonderful people. It is the blessed work of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord. We all are very blessed through these christian brothers and sisters.
This song is my most fave. I used to sing it in church when I was little. It was my grandmother who introduced the song to me. How much I desire to sing it again, but I just can't.. for everytime I do so, I would only end up crying right in front of the congregation, while singing. I have been through life's ups and downs and singing gospel songs is my way of braving the storm. But that's the thing, I would always cry. So, I stopped singing.

I've been listening to your choir and love it, but when the girls.sang the instruments were not loud and I was looking forward to listening to the male voices but at the beginning the piano was too loud, this I would suggest to lower the instrumentation volume so we can clearly listen to such beautiful voices and the superb harmony of them which honor and glorify our Lord and Savior. As I listen to your marvelous and well directed choir you quiet down the struggles of life, bringing peace to my heart and enhance my faith and trust in our glorious Jesus Christ. Blessings to each one of you, Director and Musicians. Jesus is Lord.
