I remember pointing out the sand creatures in the watcher lore discussion channel!! and then wrayk replied with "hehehehe" I feel so cool now that I ended up indeed being very right >:3
It would be nice off those creatures in the ground were something akin to ant lions, the dropwig of the desert would be a interesting creature idea something that lurks like a pole plant throwing sand and debris at you to try and make you trip and fall towards them if you get too close, or they close try to grab you and pop out of the sand if you manage to escape
That sounds cool, but wouldn't really make sense, this strategy mostly works on insects, because throwing grains of sand at insects is comparable to throwing boulders at humans. Sand being thrown at a slugcat would just feel like dust for them.
Watching people make theories on the layout of the sand dunes changing by like 3 pixels is exactly what I'm here for, 10/10, can't wait to see what comes up next
I feel like the disco balls somehow represent the map of the cycles or the "ripples" or whatever, hard to say exactly what but it could represent karmic shit in an abstract way that might tell us something in the future
The second video kinda reminds me of the Guardians' halo because of how the circles are connected by thin lines. Also, something of note is that some circles have a lot of connections, but some only have 1 or 2. Another thing of note is that the smaller circles only connect to circles that are simalarly offset from their respective larger circles
A modded creature that existed in coral caves along with a number of other modded regions. They behave like a mix between a orange lizard and a salamander
Maybe these creatures are the prey of the bugs from that one video? The bugs could be a mid-cycle rain like in the Wanderer and they feed on the sand worms, making them safer once the bugs leave. It would explain the bugs if they do act like a mid-cycle rain, as they appear to eat the worms after a sandstorm causes them to get uprooted to the surface. #sandwormsarebugprey
Stormy Coast, Coral Caves and Aether Ridge (not on the workshop since its older) are all mods created by fans that have been brought into the watcher dlc, but have allegedly been reworked/given new content in their dlc versions. From what we've been shown there has been no new content visible, aside from some new background elements in coral caves.
"I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere"

@ElijahTackett-xn9wy Star Wars.

Are you the guy who made Vermillion lizards 😢? In the mod delige?
I am so insanely excited for this DLC, I have no doubt in my mind that it’ll be great
Sand creatures: Friend, food or foe? 😆 (We'll find out soon enough)
Or all 3.
Or just annoying background creatures like garbage worms
Food. (Insert loud crunching and eating noises here)
spinning balls reminded me of some projections inside iterators, i feel there should be image spinning in very similar manner, maybe in metropolis
The ripple?
IS THAT A JOJO’S REFERENCE!!!
ikr
Hopefully, if the modded creatures are cut, the M4rbline creature pack would add them back in.
2:30 ow
The creature might be a really big porcupine
0:33 Getting subterranean vibes off this location. There is a location that is similar in subterranean with the vine plant.

0:16 in that first photo I noticed there was what looks like tentacles appearing behind the watcher, tho that could just be some background coral
Merry Christmas !
Merry Christmas slugs!
Merry Christmas!! 🎄
Reminds me of the little critters in Tiny&Big
Merry Christmas y’all
Whats a polywog

Are you going to do more mod showcases? You were one of like, two people that show off modern obscure mods
I see the connected spinny balls as what they are. A graph, and from the looks of it it may be the map layout graph in 3D?
Oh my gosh guys it’s the dreaded creature feature
i don’t want to spent all my christmas money so fast but i need the dlc
