Notice that the lag stays the same but the music in question has become somthing that was much more mainstream. If this trend continues I assume that in the mid 2020's we will have children born around 2018 or so raving about todays indie rock, or possibly just cut the shit and go straight for pop. meaning either "born in the wrong generation, I wish I had vance joy!" or "born in le wrong generation, I wish I had beonce when she was in her hayday!"
